Nous avons passé une nuit à Jockfall, le logement est beau, récent, bien isolé, confortable et très bien équipé. Attention toutefois à bien prendre en compte dès le départ le tarif des suppléments. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Bon restaurant dans un cadre magnifique. Merci à l'équipe de Jockfall 😊

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Die Lage ist traumhaft – ruhig, abgeschieden und mitten in der atemberaubenden Natur. Die Umgebung hatte es uns wirklich angetan. Wer Glück hat kann Rentiere und Nordlichter direkt von der Terrasse, der Sauna oder dem Whirlpool aus beobachten. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet – es war wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Ausreichend Handtücher, genug Feuerholz, kuschlige Decken & eine Spülmaschine. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit bei Jani! Ganz ruhig gelegen, tolle Sauna und Pool draußen und wir konnten die Polarlichter fast jeden Abend bestaunen :) Jani war immer erreichbar und hat sich erkundigt, ob alles nach unseren Vorstellungen ist.

Es war wunderschön. Wir waren mitte April 2025 in der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist schön in der Natur gelegen und trotzdem ist Rovaniemi mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Wir wurden noch mit einer neuen Sauna auf dem See bzw. Eis überrascht. Es ist traumhaft in der Sauna und dem angrenzendem Wintergarten zu entspannen. Alles was man braucht war da und es war die perfekte Unterkunft um mal raus zu kommen und mitten in der Natur zu sein. Das man um ins Badezimmer zu kommen kurz raus musste, hat uns nicht gestört. Das Badezimmer ist direkt neben der Eingangstür. Wir würden immer wieder diese Unterkunft buchen!

Our Christmas stay was truly magical! The location was perfect, with snow-covered landscapes and an unforgettable view of the Northern Lights. The added bonus of a sauna made the experience even more special. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing kick sleds for the kids, which they absolutely loved. Everything was perfect—exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

The house and host are just amazing. We arrived after a very long day of travelling in a warm cosy place and immediately felt at home. Everything you could wish for is thought of. If we would ever come back to Lapland we will have to come back to Harri's place as everything else will be a disappointment. Thanks Harri for everything!

Lieber Jarkko, wir waren für einen Vater-Sohn-Trip eine Woche in deiner schönen Mökki auf der Kolarinsaari. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Mökki hatte Charme. Wir haben jeden Tag Sauna gemacht, das Holz dafür war vorbereitet. Zweimal konnten wir sogar Polarlichter sehen. Die Kommunikation mit dir war super, du hast sehr schnell geantwortet und gute Empfehlungen gegeben. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne mal wieder!

Siisti, hyvin varusteltu mökki. Hyvä sijainti lähellä kaikkea, mutta siitä huolimatta rauhallinen paikka.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Blockhütte in Rovaniemi war einfach perfekt! Die Unterkunft hat uns von der ersten Sekunde an begeistert – sie war sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht (sogar die kleinen Extras wie Kaffee, Tee). Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch nah an Rovaniemi, sodass wir alles problemlos erkunden konnten. Ein riesiges Lob an Tiina und Juho, die uns herzlich empfangen und während des gesamten Aufenthalts schnell auf Fragen reagiert haben. Die Tipps zu lokalen Highlights waren Gold wert – wir haben uns wie Einheimische gefühlt! Besonders gefallen hat uns auch die gemütliche Atmosphäre und die liebevollen Details, die die Unterkunft zu einem echten Zuhause auf Zeit gemacht haben. Great space inside, lots of windows with great views over the river. Comfortable bunk beds, traditional sauna heated with wood fire was a fab experience. Shops 10 km away, super quiet. It's the second time we stayed at Antti's and would recommend it.

We were initially only planning on spending one night here but ended up booking a second because we loved it so much. It was so peaceful. Surrounded by forest, clean air, fresh snow. The wood sauna was a new experience and we loved it.

Too bad we couldn't each of us leave a 5-stars review. Paula has been an amazing host. Proactive and reactive, we have been welcomed very well. The place is very well equipped with everything you need for icy conditions on the lake. Paula and her husband made a hole in the icy lake for us to dive after the sauna, the experience has been really... cool 🥶 The environment is beautiful, wild nature all around. Overall we couldn't have hoped for a better experience, it was downright perfect. Thank you Paula!

Incroyable séjour passé sur l’île au milieu de la forêt. Tout était si calme, paisible, beau et romantique. Sûrement l’un des plus beaux logements dans lequel nous avons eu la chance de séjourner ! Jukka était très réactif et nous a parfaitement expliqué, en anglais, comment passer le meilleur séjour possible sur l’île. Merci beaucoup !

This place is MAGICAL! My hubby and I loved our stay! The cold plunge and sauna were amazing, relaxing and much needed after a long travel day. We rented a car, short drive from airport and there is parking. Very safe and cozy. The toilet was easy to use. The breakfast was very good, Tuulia accommodated us with a to go breakfast as we had an early flight. My hubby made us a fire and the bed was so cozy!! Will be back for sure! Cottage meraviglioso e incantevole. Una sauna meravigliosa e la stanza perfetta. Il bagno sempre caldo e la casetta per cucinare con la legna sempre pronta è un sogno. Lo consiglio a tutti. Relax e natura a portata di mano

Magnifique chalet au bord de la rivière, calme et paisible. Loin de la ville mais avec des activités possible en voiture aux alentours. Sauna intérieur, grill à l extérieur, raquette à neiges à disposition, ainsi que des luges. Hôte accueillante et aux petits soins. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour!

Johanna and Matti were very nice, helpful and gave us a lot of advice on what things we could do in the area. They helped us out with reaching some nearby destinations, because we arrived without a car. The Husky-Farm, that was close by, was really nice and being able to feed the reindeer and alpacas on Johannas farm was another highlight. The cottage itself was the perfect place to stay. It was cozy, privat and provided everything needed. We enjoided the sauna and even were able to see auroras directly from the cottage. Over all the stay there was beautiful and I can only recommend it :)
