Beautiful house and location. Tracey was an amazing host and we appreciate her letting us stay! Would definitely visit and stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. Staying at the White House was a great experience. David was very helpful with finding local restaurants and he was an overall cool person to meet. I highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet getaway!

This was the perfect little spot for our weekend. Close to the Parkway and several places to eat from fancy to low key within a few minutes. This is an older home that made me feel like I was at grandmas. I kept waiting to find something wrong but in the end will be going back for sure.

Great place to hide away for a few days....quiet and private. Good location as far as getting to near towns of Floyd and Stuart. Comfortable house.

Haley was easy to communicate with. The home was very clean. nice artwork . Roads were paved and easy to navigate. Loved the sauna shower and expansive screened porch. Haley's home had all the kitchen utensils we needed. Also well stocked with towels, soaps and blankets. We would definatley stay again if in area.

10/10! A beautiful, spacious country cottage surrounded by plenty of nature. Loved the set up of the house. Clean with clear signs of fine craftmanship and intention, making a cozy home feel. Spent lots of time exploring the area with my pup, hiking and visiting local shops. Would definitely recommend for those looking to get some quiet time and solitude amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

Nice, quiet location. Easy walk to downtown and the Floyd Country Store. Apartment had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. Even spare toothbrushes and toothpaste! Would definitely stay here again.

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

We can’t say enough nice things about our stay. A definite gem of a find. Walkable to downtown, and a beautiful porch to relax on after a walk. The snacks provided were a nice touch. Plenty of coffee pods as well. Very clean and well maintained historic home. We will definitely return when we come back for more concerts at the Harvester.

The property was very clean and we were provided with great coffee from a local coffee shop. Located right downtown, there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a few miles away and a beautiful drive. We slept well since the property was very quiet overnight and the bed was extremely comfortable. The property owners responded very quickly to answer any questions during the reservation process. We would definitely stay here again or recommend it to our family and friends.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay at. Things are easy to get to and a straight shot to go shop and eat or go to the beach with a gorgeous balcony view. Condo was very clean and I could not complain.

This was a solo get away trip for me to get familiar with SML, where I had never been before. It was a perfect time of year to visit, the weather was ideal and it was not busy at the lake. The property was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities you could possibly want or need. Ben was very responsive, and personable, and checkin and out was easy. I never had any questions or issues or a needed to communicate with Ben because it was all very well detailed in the instructions however, I did ask for early checkin and he quickly let me know that I was welcome to checkin as soon as I arrived at SML. The view from the property was incredible, right on the water with the mountain in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunrise and also using the patio lights at night and the Blackstone grill. I did not use the common amenities or being a boat however it was made easy to do so. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to be at SML.
