We felt right at home staying in George’s place. We arrived a little early and asked if it was okay to enter the property and George was gracious enough to let us settle in early. The fenced in backyard was such a BONUS, it was great being able to let the dogs walk around back there. Everything in the house was clean and tidy. It’s a cozy, welcoming home. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. I was SO happy to find a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms!! (It’s amazing how many Airbnb’s forget that detail) I’ll be visiting Penn State often in the next three years and will be looking to see if this space is available:)

This home was perfect for our needs! Our family was fortunate to attend a White Out game at Penn State and this home and location were fantastic! Rachel's home was clean and well appointed. Thank you for a lovely stay :o)

Very beautiful place, easy to relax and get away. Keppy and Ron were great hosts, I appreciated the homemade peanut butter cookies!

This home was perfect for our multi generation family. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of extras for snacks and breakfast. The kids loved the movie/game room and the hot chocolate bar. When we had questions, we got immediate responses. Highly recommended.

This house is a treat at every turn. Jessica has gone above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming space. There's a lot here to love. The beds are very comfy, the sheets are soft and cozy. It's truly a home away from home. I would suggest putting all sweets and food in the fridge as to not entice ants. If you need to stay in Mechanicsburg, don't hesitate to stay here.

Our stay at Robin’s Boone Mtn home was great! We instantly felt right at home and comfortable. She supplied us with a case of bottled water and a variety of K-cups which made us feel very welcomed! The home was spotless and very comfortable. A great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors and sightings of local wildlife…we had visits from lots of whitetail deer, turkeys, and nightly serenades from barred owls. Robin provided brochures and info about area activities and places to explore. Her instructions with directions to the place and how to get into the home were spot on and very helpful! The home was stocked with anything you could need. We were visiting to go to the Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous in Ridgway and were not disappointed. Awesome event! We also thoroughly enjoyed a meal at the Brew Bank and tastings from several local breweries, wineries, and distilleries. So much to do, so little time!

WOW!! We just returned from an amazing weekend at PSU/The Cub house!!! We stayed with two other couples and there was plenty of space for everyone. Chris has done an incredible job decorating her home...it's warm, cozy, absolutely spotless and very well stocked with everything you need and then some! (I truly appreciated the shampoo/body wash etc. in the shower!) The kitchen is well supplied and we made dinner/breakfast very easily...we didn't get a chance to make the pancakes...we will next time! The Cub house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood extremely close to everything which was very convenient! Chris was incredibly friendly, responsive and checked in often to see if we needed anything...her suggestions (The Tavern) prior to our arrival were spot on as well! It's evident throughout her home she loves hosting and sharing her love/knowledge of all things State College!! It was our pleasure to call the Cub house home for the weekend and we'll definitely be back!!

This is the second time my family has stayed at this Airbnb. I definitely prefer it to some of the other ones in the area. Lots of space, an amazing size kitchen. A very spacious bathroom so everybody can get ready in the morning without having to fight. Justin is a great host and answers questions very quickly. He is extremely kind and is willing to help with whatever you need. I recommend this place to people and I try to stay every time I come out to see my family.

We have stayed here twice and love how close to PSU it is. Quiet, clean and all the amenities you need including a real drip coffee maker, snacks, and nice towels and sheets. I love the real cotton sheets and quality bedding when so many other places use microfiber, a small detail that is super important to me. We will be staying here anytime we visit State College!

Great location, close to stadium and downtown. We arrive late which made it a bit tricky finding the house, but Dasha was very responsive and helped us locate it quickly. Easy, flexible keypad check-in with private entrance. Great space with lots of room and full kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely night in a two bedroom suite where my Mother and I could have our separate space while sending my niece off to college in Altoona. Accommodations were comfortable, breakfast was delicious and our hosts positively delightful.

Carlisle House is in a great location to allow you to experience Carlisle. The breakfast each morning was delicious and Kathy and Chloe were delightful. They even accommodated some of our special dietary needs! The room was spacious and clean and comfortable! ‘

Exactly as it was listed! There were so many food options (not only breakfast foods) that were included which was perfect for my young kids when they were randomly hungry. It almost felt like being at home. Will definitely rebook for this place when we come back to visit for another family reunion in the area!

Perfect stay in Millheim! Cosy and right on Main Street. Would definitely come back!!

This BnB is the ground floor of a modern ranch home in a pastoral setting between two small farm towns. There are three generous bedrooms each with a private bath. There is a comfortable common sitting area, a spotless kitchen, and a dining area. There is even a picnic table out back beside a small stream for nicer days. We loved the large well lit sign at the roadside because many BnBs have been hard to find. If you walk up the road away from the house lights on a clear night you will have a wonderful view of the stars. Breakfast, which included bacon, eggs, and muffins was waiting for us in a warming oven first thing in the morning. There was also a wide spread of breakfast bars, including the iconic Pop Tarts, and a choice of fresh fruit. there was the ubiquitous Keurig coffee maker and a wide selection of coffees, teas, and fresh fruit juice. We would definitely stay again.

Sandy and her husband were so pleasant, personable, and knowledgeable of the whole area. Their house was private and clean and we didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. The Oak Room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We had so much in common, so it was a perfect fit. I would definitely recommend this private, peaceful space.

We had a great stay! Joy and Rob were excellent hosts. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We felt so welcomed as did our dog, who is pretty anxious and barked a few times at the hosts, but they were nothing but kind. Would definitely stay again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mooreland Garden Inn. My sister and I were on a college tour of Pennsylvania and decided to splurge to make our trek more enjoyable. Dawn was an incredible host and totally set the tone by calling in advance to ask about our timing, food preferences, and what our travels were for. We arrived in the middle of a horrible rainstorm and were met with a lovely tour, and followed up with snacks, wine, and chatting. Dawn gave lovely recommendations for visiting Carlisle, fed us incredible food, the bed and room were so lovely, and we honestly can't wait to visit again. If you want to sleep in a comfortable, clean, beautiful room, eat lovely food, and feel taken care of, don't hesitate to book a room here. You won't regret it.

Great people, great location, and just an awesome place for a weekend getaway. 10/10 would recommend and will most likely book with again when I’m out that way again.

Allegheny Street BnB was the perfect selection for our introduction to the Altoona/Hollidaysburg area. Our stay there epitomizes the reasons we prefer bnb experiences when traveling. We especially appreciate opportunities to interact with the hosts and other guests. The hospitality here is genuine and unparalleled. One highlight was an unexpected invitation to a family celebration. Even the free transportation to and from the Amtrak station, provided by Richard, afforded opportunities for enlightening conversation. Jyoti's ability to multi-task while remaining ever gracious and personable is rare. Together, they make a team other hosts could emulate.
