From booking to arrival Sotirios has been a 100% host. The apartment is totally as described with all modern fixtures, fittings and appliances. The beach is a very short walk away. This location is perfect for exploring what Chania has to offer. Charm, beach, sea, food ,drink and culture. We covered over 40 miles on foot over the week wandering around all the nooks and crannies, streets, tavernas, restaurants and chilling on the beach in the sun. My partner celebrated her birthday while we were staying. On the morning we were greeted with a tray of biscuits, preserves and homemade lemonade. Even a hand made necklace for the birthday girl! Sotorios has made a stay extra special and helped us enjoy our time in Chania. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Andy and Carol x

This was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Stefania is the most thoughtful host, she was so friendly, always responsive and greeted us with a home cooked meal which was such a treat when we arrived from our late night flight. The place is stylishly decorated with a lot of thoughtful touches. The beds are very comfortable and the parking spot in front was very convenient. Great location, Lidl and Sinka are about a 10 min walk for groceries. There is a bakery just on the Main Street where we got bougatsa most mornings as well as a lovely breakfast spot called Lily cafe about a 15 min walk. The beach is also only a 10 min walk away. We loved our stay and would love to come back. Thank you.

I stayed with 2 teenagers in the apartment and we found it the perfect place to visit Chania old town but still stay in a quiet neighbourhood where there was always car park available along the road. The apartment is very spacious and the view from the terrace over the mountains beautiful. Andonis is a very friendly host and shared a lot of useful recommendations for things to do and local restaurants. We tried many of the recommended restaurants and were never disappointed! Maria, who lives on the ground-floor, is such a lovely woman and made us Easter biscuits. If you like walking to the old town and have a rental car to explore other places around Chania, this is absolutely the best place to stay!

Das Appartement ist super gelegen. In kürzester Zeit ist man am Wasser, in einem Restaurant oder auch im Zentrum. Ich habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt. Michalis gibt super Tipps für Restaurants und Unternehmungen. Ich komme gerne wieder. :)

Eine super schöne Wohnung in zentraler Lage in der schönen Hafenstadt Chania. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern, geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation verlief einwandfrei und auch bei einem Problem mit dem WLAN wurde uns sofort geholfen. Diese Unterkunft würde ich sofort weiterempfehlen!! ☺️

L'appartement est vaste et bien équipé. Le quartier est tranquille. Le Vieux-Port est tout proche, à 10 minutes à pied. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent.

A well appointed home with a lovely private courtyard. The seating area was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped enabling us to cook our own meals. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the beautiful bed linen. The bathroom also was well equipped and included a washing machine which proved very useful..... great shower too! Niki was a helpful, attentive and generous host responding quickly to our queries.

Se amate una vacanza fuori dai sentieri conosciuti, lontano dalla folla delle località turistiche... questo è il vostro posto. La casa si trova in un piccolo villaggio attaccato alla roccia con una vista mozzafiato sulla gola di Rokka. La terrazza che dividerete con altri ospiti, è perfetta per godersi la colazione o l'aperitivo. Da sapere che ci sono dei gatti che vengono alla ricerca di cibo... per eventuali allergici.. Marianna ci ha fatto trovare del cibo per la prima sera ed è sempre stata reattiva per risolvere qualsiasi quesito o problema. Rokka è il posto ideale per esplorare le spiagge del nord ovest dell'isola e Chania. Per le spiaggie a sud ovest ci vuole almeno un'ora di macchina. Portiamo via con noi dei ricordi bellissimi Grazie

Εξαιρετική διαμονή για την περιοχή Χαλεπα στα Χανιά!! Πολύ φιλική και εξυπηρετική συνεννόηση. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πολύ καθαρό και σύμφωνο με την περιγραφή, και μας παρείχαν και πάρκοκρεβάτο για το μωράκι!

Valia was fast in responding and left clear instructions. The flat has an amazing huge terrace and its location is great, walking distance to the old town.

Το σπίτι ήταν άνετο και κατάλληλο για τη διαμονή δύο οικογενειών με μικρά παιδιά. Η τοποθεσία του είναι εξαιρετική, στο κέντρο της πόλης, με σχετικά εύκολο παρκάρισμα στους γύρω δρόμους και δίπλα στα μεγαλύτερα και πιο γνωστά εμπορικά καταστήματα. Όλα όσα αναφέρονται στην περιγραφή της καταχώρησης και οι φωτογραφίες ανταποκρίνονται πλήρως στην πραγματικότητα. Το μοναδικό σημείο που χρειάζεται διευκρίνιση είναι ότι το Netflix παρέχεται ως εφαρμογή στην τηλεόραση, αλλά απαιτεί δική σας συνδρομή και προσωπικούς κωδικούς για πρόσβαση. Θα ήταν ιδανικό αν υπήρχε ένα δεύτερο μπάνιο, αλλά κατά τα άλλα η διαμονή μας ήταν άριστη. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν ευγενικός και εξυπηρετικός. Συστήνω το κατάλυμα ανεπιφύλακτα!

На сьогодні це мій найкращій досвід з Airbnb. Відчуття, ніби ти приїхав до доброї знайомої. В домі було абсолютно все!! Житло було дуже чисте, затишне, виглядало набагато краще ніж на фото. Білі пухнасті рушники , халати, чиста постіль. В кожній кімнаті є кондиціонер. Кухня облаштована просто всім, що треба -кава, чай, масло, цукор….Гарна нова сковорідка -зазвичай з цим проблеми в арендованому житлі. Багато необхідного посуду. Хозяйка залишила нам фрукти та лимонад, а також ракі. Вона була постійно на звʼязку і допомогала з будь чим. Я би оцінила це житло на 12 по 10 бальній шкалі 😍 Я дуже дуже вражена таким чудовим прийомом та гостинністю хозяйки. Обовʼязково повернемося ще !

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit traumhafter Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Super Ausstattung, die Einrichtung ist individuell, geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Alles top, einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Perfekte Lage, um Chania zu Fuß zu erkunden. Gleichzeitig ruhig gelegen zum Relaxen und die tollen Ausblicke zu genießen. Zum Venezianischen Hafen bzw. in die Altstadt ist es ein schöner kleiner Spaziergang über die Uferpromenade an zahlreichen Restaurants vorbei. Persönlicher und sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeberin, die Kommunikation ist top. Liebe Christina, vielen Dank, wir haben uns in deiner Wohnung und in Chania sehr wohlgefühlt und möchten unbedingt wiederkommen!

Great place with parking - this is an awesome perk if you rented a car as drivers here can be a bit hectic. Amazing restaurant straight down the road and the proximity to the city center is perfect.

The accommodation looked exactly like the pictures, was very clean, and provided many amenities such as a hairdryer, spices, laundry detergent, and spreads like butter and honey. The quiet location just outside the city, a 10-minute drive away and easily accessible by bus, is definitely a plus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben die Wohnung 16 Tage im November gebucht, Küche genutzt und sind viel in Chania gewesen. An den regnerischen oder kühlen Tagen war es schön, im Wohnzimmer zu sein, die Aussicht zu genießen und zu entspannen. Die Nähe zu den kleinen aber schönen Stränden haben wir sehr geschätzt.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez Claudia et Marco. L'appartement était spacieux et parfaitement équipé, terrasse bien privative, environnement très calme et magnifique (nous étions entourés d'oliviers), superbes couchers de soleil, et la piscine était incroyable. Claudia et Marco étaient disponibles pour toute question et très gentils. Nous recommandons !!! :)

L’appartement était bien équipé et il était situé dans un petit village tranquille. Lors de notre arrivée, il y avait déjà des produits de base dans le réfrigérateur, ce qui était très apprécié. L’appartement était très propre et très bien équipé pour un court ou un long séjour. La piscine était très propre et nous avions quatre chaises réservées pour notre logement. Les plages de sable et de galets se trouvent à une distance raisonnable de l’appartement; il y en a plusieurs à visiter en Crète.

To były wyjątkowe wakacje. Pavlos to znakomity człowiek bardzo pomocny pod wieloma względami. Mieszkanie przerosło nasze oczekiwania. Nieskazitelna czystość domu , basenu i ogrodu. Powierzchnia apartamentu robi wrażenie oraz wyposażenie mieszkania. Można wiele powiedzieć w samych superlatywach. Nasze córki były zachwycone i my również. Na pewno tam wrócimy. Idealne miejsce żeby zwiedzić zachodnią część wyspy. Spokój i cisza. Dużym atutem jest prywatny parking. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Kochamy to miejsce. Dziękujemy Pavlos to były niezapomniane wakacje !!!!

The apartment is amazing and very clean, the surrounding is very calm and peaceful. The host is very respectful and very helpful, we had an issue and she was very responsive in fixing the issue immediately without delay. She’s very caring for her quests. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.
