Lovely peaceful house in quiet alley but in the centre of the old town. We loved the beautiful artwork, comfortable bed and general ambience. The upstairs bathroom is rather small but this was not a problem for us. Our host was very responsive and helpful, giving us lots of local knowledge and recommendations. We recommend this lovely house!

Pros: Such a lovely host! Elenis cousin greeted us and the family had even baked homemade cookies . Balconies were beautiful, the home is spacious, clean and well equipped w full sized refrigerator, kitchen, washer dryer and even beach umbrellas. Especially loved the family photos on the wall, made it feel particularly homey. Eleni graciously offered to save us a parking spot on the street, which can be challenging to park on. Cons: one of the mattresses was very uncomfortable/springy and pillows were not very comfortable but do-able when we stacked a couple together.

Casa stupenda con giardino che arriva fino al mare, posta in una piccola baia incantevole. Abbiamo visto dei tramonti stupendi e tutto è stato perfetto. All'arrivo l'host è stato super disponibilie e ci ha anche consigliato numerosi posti nelle vicinanze, le due canoe poi disponibili sono la ciliegina sulla torta. Grazie mille per l'esperienza magnifica!

Huset var bedre end forventet. Stort og rummeligt. Perfekt med 2 badeværelser. Gode senge. Hyggelig gårdhave. Tagterrassen var helt fantastisk og årsag til, at vi kunne være udenfor trods 34 graders varme. Vi havde poolen nærmest for os selv. Leo svarede altid hurtigt på spørgsmål og både Leo og Michaelis hjalp os med taxa fra og til lufthavnen. Der er flotte ture, man kan gå i området, og det er også muligt at gå ned til stranden omend det er stejlt. Vi følte os så velkomne og nød virkelig vores ferie i Plaka i fulde drag.

Un magnifique gîte ! Un grand merci à Mixalis sa maman (et Loulis) pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Le logement est vraiment très design et bien agencé. Une vue superbe sur la vallée avec un grand balcon pour le petit déjeuner ou l'apéro le soir. Bravo !!!! Christophe et Marjorie

We were met by Manos and were provided simple instructions and helped set up WiFi. He was very knowledgeable regarding places to visit as we had a rental car. His suggestions of places to eat were excellent. Several times I ask Manos’s questions and he responded quickly with accurate responses. I would highly recommend his place the 3 bedrooms and bathroom’s were very efficient. Loved the two balconies, one right off the kitchen with a great awning to protect one from the sun. I would stay here again when visiting Crete.

Fabulous spacious area. Home away from home. Clean and comfortable. Lots of unexpected extras, from biscuits and chocolates to various coffee making choices. Generous with milk, coffee, tea, jams and toast. We like to do our own cooking so enjoyed the large kitchen. Place is cool but heating efficient if required. Host responded to any queries reasonable quickly. Mapia was friendly and helpful. less than ten minute walk to old town and waterfront. Close to bus station, supermarket cafe and restaurants. Loved our stay in Chania.

Great location and value for money. excellent proximity to the beach and restaurants. The pool was also well maintained and the room service for great. Definitely recommend

Sofia's place was excellent. It was quiet and relaxing with really nice views over the valley. She stocked the place with everything we could need to start the trip, including some fresh fruit from the area. She was easy to communicate with and very friendly. I'd highly recommend this location for anyone who wants a quiet place to explore the area for a few days.

El anfitrión muy amable y atento. El piso estaba tal cual indicaba y, sobre todo, limpio. Es cierto que el apartamento era algo antiguo, pero no fue problema ya que cumplió con nuestras expectativas ya que estuvimos muy cómodos. Además, respecto a la localización, era ideal ya que se encuentra a unos 15 minutos andando del centro/puerto, con lo que podías moverte sin problemas a pie. Un acierto haberlo escogido.

We spent a wonderful time at Epameinondas suite ! First of all, the room is really spacious, clean and well arranged. It includes every basic equipments that you might need. Two AC units are included, even though we used only the main one, which was sufficient. Epameinondas is a great host, we loved his warm welcome and general hospitality. Every morning you’ll get a tasty, tailor made breakfast, which we loved. At the end of it, we were given a little sample of local sweet specialities. The swimming pool is not crowded and clean at any time. Epameinondas and his staff made our stay in the west part of Crete even more enjoyable than expected. Would 100% recommend. Rena and Panos are excellent hosts that made my trip to Chania super comfortable and enjoyable. I cannot rate them and the apartment highly enough as it’s one of the most enjoyable airbnb experiences. I spent three weeks in Chania as a digital nomad to take in the amazing sights of Chania and west-Crete. From day 1, I had a very pleasant experience with Rena. She is super knowledgable of the local sights in Chania and around Crete, best car rentals with easy pick up/drop off from the apartment and great restaurants nearby. Chania is strategically a great spot to visit some of the best beaches in Crete such as Elafonisi, Balos, Falasarna, Marathi and Seitan Limani. Day trips to Rethymno and Preveli are easily doable. The apartment itself is very luxurious with modern facilities (multiple TVs, fridge, washing machine/dryer etc.) and super comfortable for two people with excellent Wifi (if like me you are planning to work too). Rena was very kind to bring me a new blender to make breakfast smoothies! The location of the apartment is perfect for the local Neo Chora beach (2-3 mts walk) and old town (10 mts walk). You can also walk to Agii Apostoli beach (25 mts walk or 5 mts by scooter/car) - which was one of my favourite beaches in Chania proper. The walk to old town from the apartment is very nice along the sea at anytime of the day. There are some amazing restaurants that Rena recommended that are close to the apartment, and much better value relative to the ones in Old Town. If you are driving, there is private parking in the apartment unit. There is additional private parking couple of minutes from the apartment too. I managed to lock myself out of the apartment one day and Panos was on site almost immediately to let me back in. Another time the parking in the apartment was full, so Panos was waiting for me at the private parking to make sure I didn’t have any issues. The local Raki he brought for me went down very nicely too! I highly recommend staying at Rena and Panos’s apartment to experience Chania.

This place was a gem! Extremely clean and kitchen completely stocked with anything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is perfect to explore Chania and the area around, easy parking but 5 minute walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store, nice 15 minute walk along water to Old Town. Beach 2 blocks away. Easy drive to Aptera. Hosts are super lovely, we visited during Easter, we had a minor mechanical issue in the bathroom and he came immediately despite the holiday. Grandma gave us fresh fruit from their trees. Pictures are accurate including lovely outdoor dining area. Highly recommend!

Eirini hat sehr schnell auf unsere Nachrichten geantwortet. Mit Hilfe ihrer Beschreibung haben wir leicht die Wohnung finden können. Eirini hat uns bereits erwartet, sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen und sich viel Zeit genommen, uns alles in der Wohnung zu zeigen und uns wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und gute Restaurants und Cafés gegeben. Während unseres Aufenthalts hat Eirini immer wieder nachgefragt, ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei Eirini gefühlt.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage zu den Bergen, Strand, See und Stadt. Unterkunft besticht durch ihre ruhige Lage und einem sehr netten Housekeeping. Ich werde wieder kommen :)

Hotel carino fronte mare, direttamente sulla spiaggia. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Camera pulita e dotata di cucinotto e un balcone perimetrale molto comodo. Struttura silenziosa e attenta alle misure di prevenzione Covid. Parcheggio gratuito disponibile in loco e colazione buona, varia (dolce/salata) ed abbondante. Super consigliato!

The lady at the reception is very pleasant. She explained what we should see and how to spend our days during the vacation. She helped us navigate the area. The accommodation was clean. The furniture in the accommodation was old but well-preserved. The style of the interior is Medieval, but the accommodation is simple and functional. Someone who appreciates this style of interior design would enjoy it.

Paikka oli parempi mitä odotimme. Erittäin siistiä ja henkilökunnan palvelualttius oli mukava bonus. Tervetulotoivotuksena tuotiin juomat ja kakkua. Erittäin hyvä, suosittelen. Aamupalaa oli ihana syödä merinäköalalla. Hyvä aamupala.

The apartment is amazingly good value and exactly as advertised: clean, bright and comfortable. We loved our short stay here and would be very happy to return. We were made to feel so welcome and offered help and guidance throughout our stay from the staff.

Konstantinos ist ein großartiger, sehr gastfreundlicher Mensch. Ein leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit einem Kaffee nach Wahl, frisch gepresstem O-Saft, einem Omelette mit Salat und einem leckeren Dressing und Joghurt mit Früchten ist inklusive. Sehr lecker und ein wunderbarer Start in den Tag, zumal man es im Freien auf der Terrasse des Botanischen einnimmt. :-)

Perfect location. Also easy to park nearby the hotel. The host was very friendly. Her breakfast was very fresh too :)
