Juan was a wonderful host. Very flexible and extremely responsive to any question we had. The instructions were very helpful and easy to follow. The pool and garden were wonderful and very peaceful. The house was ni ely equipped with a full kitchen. You can walk to mini marts and a couple local restaurants inside the community as well as the beach. We felt very safe and the locals were very friendly. This is a great Airbnb if you are looking to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. We would definitely stay at Juans again. We had a great stay at Marisol's house. The house was lovely and clean as in the pictures. It's located in a quiet area where there are no taxis around, but Marisol's daughter Maria kindly arranged us a driver we could call when needed. It was a pleasure to stay there. Highly recommended!

Un lugar Super relajante, en donde te pierdas con su paisaje y su estilo sumamente acogedor. También cabe resaltar que el lugar se encontraba sumamente limpio y equipado en el área de la cocina.

This place is well equipped with all you need and more which made our stay fantastic. The flat screen tv is nice to watch movies or listen to music. There's lots of balconies so you can enjoy your coffee anywhere you want. Our favourite was the top back one. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful plants and trees. There's many birds all around the property. We liked the fact that the property is gated all around and close to the busy village of Boquete which is very convenient. Disclosure: the only drawback for us were the 2 dogs next door barking their lungs out from 8 am to 10 pm. We've complained about it and the hosts were fabulous at addressing the issue with the dog owner on our behalf because their property is gated and I couldn't knock on the door myself. It got better once the dogs were relocated on the other side of the owner's house but we could still hear them. We stayed for 3 weeks and we felt right at home. Mi estadía en Altos de Cerro Azul fue simplemente maravillosa. Pasé un Año Nuevo agradable y tranquilo junto a mi familia, disfrutando de la belleza natural del lugar. El ambiente relajante y la serenidad del entorno hicieron que nuestra experiencia fuera única. La flexibilidad en la entrada fue otro punto a favor, ya que nos permitió organizarnos sin inconvenientes. Sin duda, volvería a este lugar tan especial, ya que ofrece todo lo necesario para una escapada perfecta en familia.

La casa muy limpia y confortable, te sientes muy bien en ella. Las fotos muy apegadas a lo que encontré y lo mejor (en mi caso) es que tiene una cocina equipada con los electrodomésticos que hacen tu estadía más fácil. El área en general muy tranquila en día de semana, agradable escuchar el mar a poca distancia. Sin duda, regresaríamos en otra ocasión.

My wife and I rented this house for two birthdays and an anniversary celebration the weekend of March 29. It is a beautiful, pet-friendly home right on Las Lajas beach and has a beautifully maintained yard with a large swimming pool. The five bed rooms and bath rooms were all perfect for our group of 10 and the open kitchen/dining/living room area was spacious enough for all to share meals and hang out without feeling crowded. The bohio was a plus and provided shade and a cool breeze off the Pacific. Rafael was very responsive when the power went out and his caretaker (Angelica ?sp?) promptly delivered enough diesel to power the huge generator all night long so we could still use the lights and air conditioners in the tropical heat. There were plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils for our use as well as two coffee pots, a dishwasher (with soap---a nice change for the number of dishes we had) and a nice big propane stove. Wonderful stay in a private retreat. The sunsets from the patio are beautiful. The listing is just as described. Two words of caution, for those with unsure footing, the water in the shower can leak on the floor a bit. Nothing serious but worth noting if you lose your balance easily. And secondly, remember, you are in the tropics, there are going to be bugs around. Keep the house tidy during your stay and you’ll see far less of them. Highly recommended stay!
