My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Terry is an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to accommodate a special request and made sure we had everything we could possibly need and more for the perfect stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the cabin is so charming. We would absolutely book again and recommend anyone else to do so!

This was an AMAZING place! I wish we had more time here. Picked up pizza from a cool place called The Silos. Pool is seasonal and opens in May. Very quiet, peaceful area. We had the beach all to ourselves. Lots of amenities like various shampoo and conditioners, coffee, plastic bags, blankets, books, and games. It was easy to find and get into. I hope we can book again someday!

Lisa's place was exactly as described. The home is so beautifully decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Lisa takes great care in making her guests feel welcome. We arrived to a chilled bottle of wine and some delicious muffins. The location is perfect for easily exploring the town of Oriental. Our only wish was to have been able to stay longer. We will definitely book another stay when visiting the area.

We rented two houses for week for a family gathering. This was our second time staying at River Dunes. The houses and location were fantastic for our week. The amenities at River Dunes are wonderful, from the pool to the kayaks, to the bikes everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay in Areaka's home. Our travel party consisted of 4 adults, my husband, myself, our 23 old daughter, and my mom who is in her 70's. The split floor plan made it feel as if we all had our space. The 2 full bathrooms were immaculate as was the entire home. It was free of odors and stocked with linens and towels that exceeded our expectations. Areaka and Towanna answered all my questions in a timely matter and was friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Always a wonderful stay here! Easy to find, clear check in Instructions, and very responsive. The location is beautiful and the sunrise/ sunsets are breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back!

Exactly what you’d expect from the listing

Lovely house and pleasant stay! Having three separate bedrooms, each with their own full bath, was wonderful. I love that the house was pet "friendly," but I feel that the full pet policy should have been disclosed in the listing rather than as part of a separate contract delivered after booking. As a caution to folks traveling in this area with dogs, this part of Oriental has no leash law, and we had two tense experiences when strange, unattended dogs approached our leashed dogs.

Great little getaway home in a wonderful location with beautiful amenities. The house is cozy, modern and clean!

Lovely place, well equipped kitchen, comfortable. Nice porches, great view of the waterfront.

Had a blast was right on the water stayed last year at another place but wasnt on the water like this place had boat dock so that was really nice unloaded boat tied it up to dock didnt have to worry about anyone messing with your stuff because it was there personal dock so not having to worry about other people being around !my boat and belongings so our stuff was safe they have plenty of fishing rods and kayaks if ypu,just wanted go on a little kayak stroll out for a day. I really,liked how peaceful,it was just a good place and quiet will defintely be going back next year and planning on staying in the same place actually i couldnt believe how quiet it was nice deck on side of house if you want to read and drink ur coffee with a view didnt have to worry about neighbors very quiet and peaceful place!! Loved it!!!

Great spot to stay for a duck hunting trip. All the amenities needed for a bunch of duck hunters. 10 minute drive from Cambell Creek and Oyster Creek boat access.

Second time we've stayed at Rivendock Rookery. Wonderful home, perfect location. Love it.

The house was lovely and the views from the deck made the space! The kitchen was well stocked with items and the house was nice and clean. The door locks are weird and slightly confusing but once I called the host, I was able to figure them out. Also, its worth noting that the driveway to the complex is a long, dirt road but you are going to the right place!

Beautiful location! So wonderful to be able to hop in the kayaks at sun rise and sun set to explore the area. Spent every evening on the porch after dinner watching the wildlife, the stars and enjoying the breeze. Some construction going on at nearby house starting early in the morning but that likely is temporary. Would definitely recommend

Layout of home is great. Proximity to water perfect. Would have enjoyed a wider dock with railing on end for four fisherman. Hurricane shortened our stay so it became an expensive four days. Highly recommend for someone with a boat.

We loved the house, it was clean, very pretty and has an amazing view! We did have some trouble with the key was tough to use but a minor inconvenience. We loved the little beach right next door swimming and kayaking. We unexpectedly found the most amazing conch shells, 5 in just a short period. It is fairly remote, perfect for some. We did not get to see much of the closest town of Oriental due to rain and it was Sunday wear a lot of places were closed. We visited New Bern twice and loved that town about 30 mins away. We loved that we could bring our furry friends too! I also enjoyed the a little earlier and a little later check in and out times than a lot of places! I would definitely recommend!
