The Cottage

This cozy cottage has been totally renovated and designed for your comfort and enjoyment. We have addressed every detail to make your stay a memorable one. The cottage is a perfect country retreat. You will enjoy nature, being surrounded by trees, birds, wildlife and a beautiful sunrise. We are located just 2 miles from downtown Palestine and 3 miles to the Texas State Railroad yet in a country setting behind a security gate with your private code. Canton 1st Monday trade days is 1 hour away

Wheneverwood Hideaway: FREE farm fresh eggs w/stay

Unique and tranquil getaway. We have all the amenities you will need for a great stay. A stylish little cabin in the country with access to walking trails, a pool, and a hot tub($) at the main house. We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! We have added Starlink internet to the cabin as well as a smart TV to greatly enhance your entertainment options during your stay.

Inside, find a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living areas, and comfortable bedrooms. Ideal for families or groups seeking a peaceful retreat away from the city.

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Carriage House located in North Historic District

Enjoy stepping back in time while staying in our 1914 Carriage House which has been thoughtfully updated while still maintaining the character of the home. We are located in the North Historic District of Palestine. The Carriage House is adjacent to our 1907 Greek Revival home. You will have access to our pool which has several comfortable seating spaces and a tranquil environment with many flowers and foliage. The Carriage House is located within our gated property with front door parking.

Located in a nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. This freshly 1906 century home has spacious rooms with original hardwood floors. Outdoor dining & lounging area on the large front porch & backyard patio. Only minutes from Lake Palestine, Pine Dunes Golf Course, Palestine Railroad, New York Zip Line, 5H Shooting Sports and River Run Park, Dive Park in Athens to name a few of our local attractions. Only about 20 minutes or so away from Tyler, Jacksonville, Athens and Palestine.

Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

VJ Farms- a wonderful place to gather!

Welcome to VJ Farms! My grandparents, Verda & Jiles bought this property in 1962 with the G.I. Bill. My grandfather built this house with his own two hands & it holds our family's best and most precious memories. The house has gone through a big renovation! This piece of heaven is filled with love, adventure, fun, peacefulness & is the perfect place to gather together with the ones you love. Twin Oaks Ranch

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Fishing is permitted in the ponds. The ponds are stocked with a dock. Enjoy a walk through the forest trails. Clean and newly renovated guest house. A fully equipped kitchen is provided with all the necessary utensils. The bedroom has a king-size bed. Two couches can be pulled out to create two additional beds. We welcome dogs. There is a fenced yard for dogs and a doggy door. 15 minutes to town. There is no fire pit or grill.
