Shannon is a wonderful host. She always responded to any issues that came up. If you are ever in Hardinsburg or Leitchfield area & looking for a place to stay for a few days or weeks, her place The Lovely Cozy Retreat is the one to rent.

Everything was great except the floors being dirty upon arrival. I reached out and the host and they responded right away offering to have the floors cleaned asap. The place looked renovated recently and all new appliances. The road out from can get noisy at night with cars driving by. Would stay again!

Great get away with awesome views. Fishing pond and marked trails to walk. Away from it all with peace and quiet. Will visit again when traveling this way.

Nice clean place perfect for working in town. Quiet. Not the Ritz or riverfront but i will definitely stay here for the next one

Host was very responsive and helpful! Wasn’t the most kid friendly home considering the steep stairs and no bath but we knew both of those going into it. It was very inconvenient that they had the road that the house is located on closed to construction so we kept having to detour all the way around to the other side. Overall though it was a pleasant stay!

What a beautiful home and wow did we love it! So lovely, creative and clean clean clean! They also did such a beautiful job decorating for the holidays it made us feel so at home. We loved walking to the restaurants and coffee shops. We loved how it was close to everything. The neighbors were so nice as well. Nick and Brett were just the perfect hosts and made our stay worth every penny. We would recommend this beautiful house with the highest thumbs up.

Brian’s place was perfect for my trip. 7 minute drive to work. Easy to find. Room to relax after long days. I will stay here again when I come back to Fort Branch.

Everything was as perfect for a visit to family in Tell City, with current hotel options, this a no brainer. This is a much better solution and the apartment was extremely well stocked with more than mentioned in the listing. Would definitely stay again, next time in town. Walkable to restaurants

This home was exactly what we needed for the weekend! Beautifully decorated, clean, uncluttered, and the location felt like a safe and friendly neighborhood. Tonya left us some very nice local snacks and that was hugely appreciated when we got in late Friday night. Couldn't have asked for a better spot. We will definitely stay again next time we come to Owensboro!

Very spacious and included all accommodations listed. Beautiful place really and was definitely worth the price for how roomy the place is. Would most certainly recommend and stay again.

I stayed here for 3 months and enjoyed my time. The place is as described and would rent here again if I had a reason to be in town.

We had a great stay at Sean’s place! The location was great, it was easy to get in and out, and the place was clean with plenty of space and comfortable beds. Sean was very responsive and friendly when we had wifi issues as well, which was appreciated! The only thing I would add is that if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs because the walls are pretty thin and we could hear footsteps/voices upstairs, but that doesn’t change my 5 star rating at all and I’d stay again in a heartbeat!

This is my third stay at Sean’s downtown digs. This is a great location, walkable to a great coffee shop, restaurants, downtown, and the Ohio Riverfront. The apartment itself is spacious and gets lots of natural light. With windows on three sides and plenty of fans it was cool and comfortable despite the warm outside temperatures. We didn’t even feel the need to use the window AC, although it was there should we have needed it. I will definitely be back.

This home was absolutely beautiful and spotless, clean, beautiful decor. Everything you could need in the kitchen and more. The linens were a great touch. We were on a two week road trip so the laundry was clutch. It was perfectly cozy for when we were staying in and very walkable for when we wanted to go out and about. The historic neighborhood, specifically this street, has beautiful architecture. The host was always communicative and everything was easy, and the local recommendation booklet came in handy upon arrival. We ended up going to several of the places in it. We would stay again and recommend to friends.

This was the perfect location for our stay! We had great communication from Sean from the beginning. We even got a heads up that there was an issue getting to the parking area well before we arrived. The space was clean and cozy and perfect for 4 adults and a little dog. I highly recommend booking here!
