Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Hirsimökki 1 1/2kerroksinen rauhallisella paikalla metsän keskellä. Mökki sijaitsee Kaukosessa. Kittilään on 20km, jossa on lähin ruokakauppa joka on auki myös sunnuntaina. Leville 40km. Ylläs 40km. Lähimpään naapuriin on 500m. Oma piha ja sähköauton lataus 15€ koko majoittumisenne ajalta Katuvalot eivät häiritse. Alakerrassa on viihtyisä tupakeittiö, sauna ja kylpyhuone. Keittiössä kaikki tarvittavat kodinkoneet. Yläkerran makuuhuoneissa on erillissängyt, jotka saa tarvittaessa vierekkäin.

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights.
