The tidal island of Oronsay is a short walk away, while the town of Portree and must-visit Fairy Pools are a mere 25-minute drive. The historic Dunvegan Castle is also just a 20-minute drive away.

The cabin features an open plan living, kitchen and dining space with a separate king size bedroom and shower room. We are centrally located, only 5 miles from Portree. Vancouver Cottage is tucked into the peaceful township of Harlosh, sitting among wild surroundings giving you a true sense of the landscape of Skye. From the windows you can gaze out to the distinctive twin peaks of MacLeod’s Tables and across to the sea. It is a place for getting away from the hustle and discovering the great outdoors. The cottage offers private parking and has a sister property across from it so we can accommodate up to 8 guests. No check-in/out on Sundays

Taigh Malky is one of two self-contained suites in the property and comprises of a double bedroom, kitchen/living space with a picture window looking onto a stunning view of Loch Roag with the Cuillin mountain range behind. Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).
