I wanted to say thank you for letting us enjoy our vacation in your cottage. Your cottage was the perfect retreat from our everyday lives. We hope we will be able to visit again.

Jeremy's home in the Kawartha's was absolutely perfect for our 2 families and young children. From the moment we arrived we felt so at home! The property is stunning, nestled amongst the trees, though wide open and bright- there is generous deck space, a lawn for kids to run around on (as well as a zip line, swing and hammocks!!) and a sweet meandering path that leads to a quiet lake and dock. The home itself has a comfortable, spacious and relaxed vibe. It's mid century, art filled and modern. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for creative cooking, and the amenities in general are generous- from board games to water sports, sauna and hot tub. While there we had rainy days and colder days, but there was always so much to do and explore that every day was rich. This home would also be a perfect winter getaway.. maybe one day!

Eka was a great host. We made a last minute reservation and Eka was able to accommodate our needs. The place was very cozy yet spacious. The cedar sauna was the highlight of our stay. Everyone enjoyed it and wanted to come back. Thanks for everything Eka.

A MUST STAY!! Arriving late at night, outdoor lights greeted us & looked like the Idealic atmosphere for a fun weekend. Private & peaceful. We were delighted to find rustic charm, but with modern finishes and amenities. Tamara was so kind to check that we arrived ok & left me a sweet birthday message. We absolutely loved the upstairs bathroom with heated floors, stunning tub, & shower. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, everything you could imagine needing was provided, including ample cocktail glasses. The hot tub was quite big, 5 of us fit in there. The bedrooms were quaint & beds comfy. We just happen to be there during a massive ice storm. However, the cottage was the perfect - lots of wool blankets, the wood burning fire place heat up the cabin quickly & gas stove. Tamara was extremely helpful assisting us by locating safety supplies & great advice on how to ride out the storm. Her kindness & generosity turned our weekend to be one of the best memories, we will revisit for years

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Nice home in a quiet and safe feeling neighbourhood. Easy to find and access. Big back yard for kids and dog (although not fully fenced, which was fine as we brought our own leash). We arrived from out of province (via flying) and were surprised to find the beds already made with the necessary linens (we had packed our own via suitcase as per the ad details). But we appreciated the kind gesture had we somehow failed to bring our own! The kitchen is updated (so different from pictures) but still has all the appliances and cooking items a family would need for their stay. Lots of stores (grocery, banks, restaurants, Canadian Tire etc) are within a 10 min drive or less, making “going into town” to grab stuff a breeze. Plus having access to a hot tub, sauna and BBQ are a very nice treat :) We had a very comfortable stay and appreciated Tamila’s prompt responses for any questions we had. Would happily stay again!

Le cottage est juste incroyable. Les vues sont fantastiques du salon jusqu’au porche. Nous avons passé un bon moment en famille et le cottage a pas mal d’activités. Nous retenons le paysage magnifique ainsi que la belle balustrade.

We spent a couple of days up here, and it was as described. It took me back to my childhood! The classic “by the lake” cottage. And it is that. Complete with a breezeway with life jackets, a great dock, and of course the fantastic lake. We enjoyed a campfire, and the place had everything we needed, for meals and memories. It is a cottage though. You should expect that. It isn’t fancy, and Geoff doesn’t describe it that way. It is how he describes. Geoff is also very responsive, and when we had a question, came back right away. It was a nostalgic little getaway for us! We loved it.

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

Great place, will stay again

Fred’s house was great! The house’s open concept was large enough for all of us (6 adults) to hang out in through the cold winter days without feeling crowded. The fireplace added lovely ambience and warmth. The six bedrooms ensured we all had our own space, which was a nice treat for our girls’ weekend. The master bedroom with ensuite was particularly spacious. The whole house was nicely decorated, and overall was a cozy and welcoming place. We didn’t use the sunroom, as is unfortunately smelled of smoke. Fred was a very responsive host. He quickly answered any questions. We had a lovely stay here, and wouldn’t hesitate to fully recommend it.

Best cabin-in-the-woods weekend ever! Perfect spot for hiking, kayaking, movie watching, and board games. Bill went above and beyond to make the trip go smoothly.

We had an amazing 2-days escape with my boyfriend, like exactly what you need for your mental health. The place was so private and peaceful, not a lot of things to do, but you can do lots of things of walking, enjoying the nature (the horses there are beautiful) and also they offering 🛶 canoe-experience that you can try absolutely for free. The host is so friendly and helpful in all the questions and requests that I had , so definitely recommendable place .

Stephen's place is just as described. Private cabin with everything you need to bbq and stay warm. The views were beautiful and the sauna was a great amenity. Would recommend staying here!

If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful escape, Zoey's place is it! Our few days there were a wonderful retreat from our busy lives. The breathtaking view and access to the lake were highlights, providing such a relaxing atmosphere. The accommodation was spotless and felt so warm and cozy – a true home away from home. Thank you, Zoey, for sharing your lovely place. We hope to be back soon!

This little place is one of a kind!! Would return in a heart beat. Friendly and responsive host, beautiful, peaceful setting, Hiking and archery on property. The house itself was clean, cozy, and private . We enjoyed our stay so much!! Will definitely come again!

Had the best time for our bachelor party at Mountain Ash Farm! Patricia and Ron were responsive and super helpful. Will be coming back here!

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

What a gorgeous place to get away from the city for a few days. The comfortable studio has everything you'd need during your stay. The fields are great for walking (especially if you have a dog), and there are all kinds of magnificent hiking trails nearby. My arrival coincided with a massive ice storm and Vince and Miranda were in touch every step of the way, keeping me updated on conditions and options. They were a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to returning next time I need a taste of the country.

Janna’s cabin is perfect for a little getaway! The place was very homey and quiet! Beautiful view! I would love to come back in the summer! Would stay here again! :)

We had a wonderful stay. The space was large, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. My son especially loved meeting the farm animals, which made the experience truly special for him. Our dog had the best time playing with their dogs, which added a great touch to the trip. Bonnie was welcoming and made sure we felt right at home. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a touch of farm life. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Idyllic gem on Georgian bay. Perfect for a small family getaway by the lake. The resort pool is a big plus for the kids. Beautiful surroundings and stunning sunsets. Jefferson is a great host. Very friendly and responsive. He kindly accommodated our request.

Definitely will be booking again. Very relaxing!
