My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

Beautiful scenery! Nice big patio overlooking the pond. The grandkids loved the animals and feeding the ducks. Nice western decor and big windows. Plenty of room for a group. Donnie was so helpful and gave us an ATV tour.

It was a great short stay. Everything was just as it looked on the site. It is out of the way of traffic but close to everything. It is on a deadend location so there is very little traffic and lots of open areas nearby.

We stayed at the Hunters Hut for my husbands birthday and we had a fantastic weekend. Kelly took the time to write my husband a birthday card and provided a birthday treat for him. The cabin was cozy and clean and we enjoyed snuggling up and watching t.v. We ended up spending most of our time in the private hottub and did some much needed relaxing. Kelly was super welcoming and checked on us during our stay. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

This place is perfect for the solo traveler! Great location and extremely nice refurbished establishment.

We were in town for a family wedding. Peaceful setting, gracious host and wonderful property made it perfection. The cabin was great. Grounds were beautiful. Blueberries are in the freezer 😘 Miss Ann, you are the best. Tim and I so enjoyed sharing our stories over breakfast. We wish you many blessings and hope to see you again soon. We had a ton of family in town for my mom's wedding, so we booked this beautiful how's right on a lake to accommodate our family members. It was everything we expected and more. The house is gorgeous inside and out!! The media room upstairs was massive and stunning, the bedrooms were of good size, and there were plenty of places for people to sleep. There is even a fenced in back area for your dog with a ramp going into a doggy door for a small dog into the master bedroom, which I thought was super cute. Our hosts was easy to contact knowledgeable on everything that we needed. We would definitely recommend this site to everyone.

The place is so peaceful, plenty of amenities, and beautiful views! We enjoyed afternoon walks on the boardwalk. The condo was comfortable and felt like home. Thanks for the great stay😁
