Very clean spacious accomodation. Bigger than I expected and yhe bed was so comfortable too. I must say I had a very relaxing stay here and I would highly recommend staying here.

Hay concordancia entre precio y calidad. Don Mario, el padre de Aquiles estuvo anuente a evacuar consultas y dar orientación. El tema del agua es complejo en Altagracia y no exclusivo del hospedaje, por eso hacer conciencia de NO desperdiciar el agua. Don Mario muy sutilmente nos puso al tanto y de nuestra parte, velar por el ahorro del líquido. Las hamacas, les sacamos provecho.

Muy bonita y cómoda la casa, los cuartos lo suficientemente amplios, el baño bastante limpio, la cocina muy completa y el área de la piscina muy bonita. Es una zona segura, lo recomiendo.

Bel endroit pour rester. Possibilité de se louer un scooter si on veut visiter l’île. Les routes sont très belles. Hébergement très accueillant et les hôtes sont très disponibles avec une belle piscine. Je recommande.

This place was perfect for our group size! It is well located and has everything you need! Our only mistake was that we didn't book it for a few extra days!

Unique stay on Ometepe! We had a car so it was very easy to get around as this place is pretty central on the island. The camper is very cozy and has a vintage feel. It is very much hostel/camping vibes which we loved. Julie was very helpful and communicative! Highly recommend the stay.

it's a really great place. we were very sorry to leave. you can walk into the forest at Finca Magdalena, 500m away.

Un’esperienza fantastica in una palafitta immersa nella natura autentica. Megan è stata molto disponibile e ci ha aiutato con la prenotazione delle Ferry e delle escursioni. Personale amichevole e gentile. Ristorante di qualità con cibo buonissimo. Speriamo di poterci ritornare in futuro, ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore!

Tatiana ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin. Sie war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön und man kann die beiden Vulkane sehen. Tatiana bietet auch Frühstück und Abendessen an. Ausserdem kann man für 15 USD pro Tag einen Roller mieten. Die Lage ist genau zwischen den beiden Vulkanen, von der Fähre ist es eine halbe Stunde mit dem Taxi oder Bus bis zur Unterkunft. Zum Ojo de Agua sind es ca. 20 Gehminuten. Kartenzahlung ist auch möglich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We had a brilliant stay in our cabin! The garden setting is beautifully maintained, peaceful and full of wildlife. We spent an afternoon just relaxing in the garden hammocks and it was so lovely. It’s an easy walk to several great restaurants, but you still feel like you’re in a quiet, hidden spot. The cabin is very well built and comfortable, with everything you need for a longer stay. Che was a warm, welcoming host who was always very quick to respond with suggestions or help if we needed them. He is a kind and honest person. I would definitely come back and stay here again!

Not enough words to express the overall feeling of staying at El Bamboo, amazing, peaceful, natural, friendly, unique is just a start. Then there is Che the owner, an interesting person to say the least, so welcoming and down to earth, helpful and someone who really takes interest in making sure all his guests enjoy their time on the island. Don't miss out and book this place immediately, you'll be grateful for the lifelong memories you will make while there. As Che says, el Bamboo is just not a place to stay, it's a lifestyle.

Hands down, one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed!! This cabin in particular had waves coming almost right up to the window! It was so dreamy! It was super spacious and the shower was warm! The grounds were a really cool vibe with fruits and herbs to cook with. There were cool restaurants walking distance. Che, the host, gave us the hook up with great recommendations and was responsive with all of our questions. Greeted us with great conversation. ojo de agua is only about a 15 min drive on an atv. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! And I was hesitant about not having windows or AC, but I absolutely loved it and didn’t miss it at all. I actually wish we could have stayed longer! Will be back when we come back!

Best place to stay on Ometepe! Really well run and organized. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and the photos really don’t do justice to the beautiful view you will have of conceptíon volcano from your private balcony! The restaurant is amazing and delicious, definitely try the traditional Pinolillo! The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. Any tour or transportation you want can be arranged through them, they even helped us arrange a taxi on the mainland to take us to our next destination after leaving the island.
