I rented this gorgeous place for a nine-person bachelorette party. It looked exactly like the photos, right near the water. None of us honestly wanted to leave. Many people have asked for the link to this place from the photos. The place was super clean! The only thing is that for those of you who are scared of spiders, they are all over outside. This is not the place's fault; it is just nature. I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Nice and low key! Away from the hustle and bustle but still close to town. Beautiful view of the sunsets over the lake!

Wonderful stay for a nephew's wedding. Cabin proved to be a great meeting place overall. Was surprised to discover that the 3 bedrooms in the main area are basically off of the kitchen - seemed odd. And the room with the bunked full beds appeared to be a sun room at one time. The place worked very well, however, as the emphasis was not on sleeping. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the garage (with the door open) too, which proved useful to keep the indoors kitchen / bedroom area on the quiet side. Thank you!

Our second stay at Anchor's Away with Cara as host was great. Being the first rental after the winter season for an April family wedding, there were a few kinks to work out. Cara was there for us within minutes and the couple of issues were resolved within an hour. Anchor's Away is a very homey cabin with 3 comfortable bedrooms set away from the main kitchen/living area. We hung out for hours around the kitchen table enjoying the lake view. Thank you!

We had an awesome family vacation for the weekend. Spent a day utilizing the 6 included waterpark passes. Also hung out at the air bnb which was clean, updated, spacious, and comfortable. Highly recommend Kurt and Kaylees listing! Hope to come back when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of the included outdoor amenities!

Our stay was incredible! Lexi is a total rockstar and made sure we had anything and everything we could need…even starter firewood! The beds and couch were super comfy. The water pressure in the shower was awesome and there were plenty of towels, which was amazing. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

It was our first time visiting the Okoboji area. We loved our stay. We had 3 families in our group. The kids loved having the basement all to themselves. It was so nice having the dock to pull the boat up to each day, and for the kids to fish off of as well. The hosts were very friendly & offered many suggestions for places to visit/eat. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary equipment needed for cooking, although we spent most of our day on the water and ate at various places in the area. Fun to boat right up to eat your meals from the water. That was an experience the kids loved! We were nervous with the recent floods that the water conditions wouldn't allow for boating/swimming activities. We did find it nice that given the 5mph limit on the water the kids could swim safely from the dock as well as out in the water with minimal waves. It was like we had the lake to ourselves! The visit during the week probably helped with that too?!? Definitely recommend!

Jana was a great host - very responsive and helpful. The house felt very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The beach is not really walkable from the house (at least not with all the lake gear), but Jana generously allowed us to use her golf cart - which was so great! We would definitely stay here again with our family.

This was a 5 star experience! Everything was just as described! If I had a question he was very quick to answer! The garage kept our kids busy and got the whole family to spend good quality time together with the games!! The cabin was very clean! overall no complaints and an amazing experience!

I choose this cabin on the lake, looking for a quiet place with a beautiful view. We celebrated my parents 56 wedding anniversary. It was a perfect getaway for family time.

Kathi's place is a welcome retreat. It's quite and serene within 1 mile of town. She really has gone out of her way to make the stay a positive one. I'm sure Josie and I will stay again. Kathi responds quickly to questions and the house is an eclectic mixture of tradition and modern. An inviting home. Highly recommend staying if in the area.

The house was clean and had plentiful space for our family during Easter week and well supplied with essentials. Okoboji is a resort area and the season hadn't quite started yet, but the lake is nearby and walking trails are great for walking a dog. There are bike trails nearby too. Back to house - it has two living rooms up and downstairs, large kitchen area. But for me, personally, was the lanai which we used for Easter brunch and enjoyed sitting out there listening to music with a glass of wine. Wonderful place, and in-season, it would be even better.

We had a party of 11 people and the property was perfect for many lounging areas for our group. We especially enjoyed both the indoor and outside dining options and fully stocked supplies in kitchen was helpful. The location was great! We were able to walk all around Arnold's Park without every having to take our car anywhere -- to restaurants, bars, entertainment. we loved the decor and combo of the old and new. Wonderful stay - thank you!

Cara hosts a lovely place to stay! Our getaway felt more complete with how much space we were given. Cara is extremely responsive and was a great help. We had a little bit of plumbing issues while there and she sent us a plumber who fixed the problem immediately! It's also very easy to walk to so many different hidden treasures as opposed to driving. We all left happy!

Great place for our group couldn’t have asked for better.

The games in the garage we are big hit with our grandkids.
