We visit the same area a couple times a year and love bringing the boat, so this place was great! We had a 6 and 8 year old with us. They always had something to do with the canal being there! The deck was perfect. It’s a short walk to the beach, also great for us! We visited a couple different areas, seeing sea turtles at one. It has kayaks, another great perk! There were a few things it didn’t have. We had to buy a coffee maker for pods the first day. There are no TVs except the living room. We like to relax in the evenings at bedtime. No wagon or beach chairs. I know a lot of places don’t have this, but it’s so nice when they do! Overall, this is an amazing place. Perfect for fishing and being on the water!

Hubby & I were in desperate need of a get away after a tough 6 months with multiple family surgeries and long hospital stays. When we arrived at Madeline’s place, I could feel us both breathing a big sigh of relief! It was beautiful, spotless and every detail had been arranged with care! All the extra touches meant a lot because we needed this so much! If we’re in the area again, we’d love to return - thanks for a wonderful stay!

This place is amazing! Clean and feels like home. So much space and room for so things to do. The house is secluded but not at the same time. The small “beach” at the house is a major bonus. Kids could easily go play and we could watch from the porch. We seen all kinds of wildlife from eagles, cranes and even a fox. This was the first family vacation we have had in years and it was over Christmas. Dillon did awesome with a Christmas tree and lights on the house and even supplied a gingerbread house for us to build. We definitely plan on being back in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the outside much more.

We had an amazing stay at Joe’s place. The condo looks just like the pictures except the space feels bigger once you are inside. Villa 7 is in the most convenient location on the property….you literally walk outside and the hot tub is in front of you and the pools are just a couple steps away. Candidly, I was a little worried that perhaps it would be loud in the evening if people were still in the pool or hot tub, but once you close the door, you are in your own little peaceful slice of heaven. I spent every morning on the patio having my coffee and looking out onto the grounds. It was lovely. This was the first time I have ever stayed in an Airbnb that I never once had to reach out with a question or issue the entire duration of our stay. The host was very proactive….anticipating our needs, and even suggesting what we should bring and what would already be taken care of. Huge timesaver!! I would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful, relaxing trip in a great location.

This home was absolutely beautiful and a perfect place to stay in for a couple weeks. My dogs loved the backyard and being able to swim in the bay. We also saw sharks and dolphins not too far off the dock. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful home on the lake steps to the beach. Host was beyond helpful and responsive. Great price and great location nature everywhere. One of our favorite spots on 30A definite must book. Elizabeth was very helpful and accommodating.

Perfect place for a quick getaway. Owners were also very quick to respond to questions. When we come back and it’s just my wife and I this is where we will stay.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft auf einem Hausboot in einem Bayou (ruhigen, sumpfigen Flussarm). Man kann springende Fische und kleine Schildkröten sehen, die aus dem Wasser gucken und mit etwas Glück Delfine in unmittelbarer Nähe beobachten. Schwimmen und Kajak fahren ist möglich und der Ort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um zum schönen Okaloosa Strand (mit Auto) zu gelangen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind gut erreichbar. Auf dem Boot kann man sich auch selbst was zubereiten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Paula und ihr Mann sind sehr nett und ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und geben sehr gern hilfreiche Tipps.
