We enjoyed our stay at Lesa's beautiful house. Lesa was an awesome host and the house was even better than we imagined, everything we needed was provided (even some fresh bread and milk). There are 3 double bedrooms (one with ensuite), the lounge can be separated from the living area and also opens onto a nice sunny deck. the back yard opens onto a reserve/walkway which is awesome for walking/exercising the dog and also means you can walk to the beach and local shops/restaurants. The surrounding area is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place in Papamoa.

Delwyn and Sara were quick to respond to any communication. They obviously understood families as they supplied extra linen and towels. We appreciated being able to have our family dogs with us, and they had a great time too. We appreciated the offer of a late check out to enjoy the sunshine after an otherwise very wet and blustery stay.

Really enjoyed the stay! Cool house and great location. Felt like home. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

We were in town for a family birthday.. This house is super close to Whakatane Town centre. Had everything we needed. The deck was fenced which helped keep our furbaby inside. Plenty of parking. Has a real family vibe.

Very responsive host! Allowed us to checkin earlier than expected. Very clean home and peaceful area that was walking distance to the beach/shops. Checkin/out instructions were clear and easy to understand. Beautiful lighting for photos. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for having us!

What a fantastic AirBnb in amongst amazing native bush across from Lake Tarawera. The house has beautiful surroundings and is a 2 min walk from the jetty if you have a little boat and there are hikes / walks around the lake. The house is about a 12 min drive from the Blue lake and a 25 min drive from the Rotorua city. The house itself is spacious, big three bedrooms a kitchen with a bar. The lounge has a fireplace and leads into a deck with views of the lake. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous studio unit which is stylishly furnished. Very comfy bed - highly recommend!

The place is tidy, clean and well decorated. The only we did not feel quite comfortable with is it is actually the host's home full of their stuff that we did not quite expect. We prefer a usual Airbnb that if it is a whole house, the setting is for guest only (walldrobe space for guests etc.).

This might sound like a bad review but it is not meant as such. It's so future guests aren't surprised. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The chalet was perfect for a couple. Nice comfy firm bed, good kitchenette and ensuite. The chalet is on the grounds of a Christian camp facility for horse riding. The grounds are expansive. There's a small lake with kayaks for use. There's a pool with cool water and a very warm open air spa. The grounds themselves are lovely but the pool area needs some aesthetic tidying. The pools are clean and good - they just need their floors painted. They're also amongst what seems to be a semi abandoned construction area. But get past that superficial stuff, the pools are fine for purpose. A dawn spa was delightful. The grounds themselves seem to have 500 unfinished DIY projects on the go. The roads around the facility seem to have been through an artillery barrage so if you have a very low profile car, be wary. Despite the above we LOVED staying here. It was hot weather when we stayed and the room was very warm. In fact it could use a plug-in fan to circulate the air a bit. I totally recommend staying here and when I come back to Rotorua I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay in Adrienne’s place whilst visiting family living close by. We enjoyed the family orientated spaces and the kids loved the pool and table tennis table. The kitchen allowed us to cook and dine altogether which was a really lovely thing to be able to do with our extended family and we enjoyed movies and boardgames in the evening afterwards. It’s a fab house and well worth the money🙌 Adrienne has all bases covered when it comes to kitchen equipment, utensils, consumables, towels, blankets etc. it really was a home away from home for us our only regret was that we couldn’t have booked it for longer. When we return we will definitely hoping we can book here again 🙏Many thanks to Adrienne again for sharing this special family space with us🙌

Great wee spot, lovely rural location. Warm dry and comfortable. Dog friendly which is huge for us.

Myself, 5yo son, my parents and our three dogs had a great stay here. the view of the water is stunning! Easy to find, and convenient that the key pick up point is on your way to the accommodation too. Plenty of playgrounds dotted about, and so quiet. The beach house had everything we needed. Future visitors with pets just be aware that there is no fenced area to contain your dogs, so they can access the beach and road if unsupervised. Wouldn't stop us staying again though! The steps down to the beach are pretty steep but for older/broken amongst us is achievable, and there are alternative beach access walkways a few houses down if needed. We enjoyed a few kayak trips on the Estuary too. Only 25 mins to Papamoa if you want a dinner outing. Really nice touch with the coffee vouchers for the local Cafe, Montys, which was our go-to!

Great bach with modern clean facilities. Easy to find and plenty of room for parking. Jacque was very accommodating and great to deal with.

Peter's place is a rare find. Close to the hot spring, 30 min drive from Rotorua town centre. It is a working farm with horses, chicken etc. on site. It is such a special experience when you lift up your head in the room and see a horse staring at you through the window. We had great time there.

Pipi’s Holiday House was perfect for our stay. Beautifully decorated with a casual beachy vibe, and a lovely outdoor area for relaxing. The close proximity to the beach is great. Would not hesitate to book again. Thank you 😊

We had a wonderful relaxing stay, The section was fully fenced Perfect for our dog & it's just a short walk to the beach, shopping center & Café. Loved all the outdoor seating areas. looking forward to staying again.
