This was the perfect private peaceful cabin get away. Beautiful cabin, well maintained, very clean, has everything you would need. We will definitely come back. One of our best Air BnB experiences so far.

This was by far one of our favorite stays. It was a perfect getaway that gives you a beautiful cabin, privacy, and comfort while offering a beautiful view that greets each morning, and throughout the day. I quickly made friends with the 3 beautiful cows, and really enjoyed feeding and petting them. Stella, Rosie and Posie are now my lifelong friends! After a long day of hiking, getting in the hot tub overlooking the trees was so relaxing. Additionally the shower was incredibly relaxing and spacious. Billie was extremely kind and helpful. Everything was so simple and perfect that we didn’t even need to reach out to the host with any questions or issues. Though I know if there was, he would be quick to be on top of it. We look forward to coming back to Waverly just to come stay here again! Definitely make sure to check this place out if you’re staying in the area. The Cabin was clean and very cozy. Lots of added touches we appreciated (including popcorn to pop). We enjoyed a variety of what Hocking Hills had to offer and the sunsets were beautiful. We hiked the cleared trail in the back of the property and sat on the swing and enjoyed the fire pit sitting area as well. No real issues with insects per other posts, but it's in the woods, so that was to be expected. The host even provided Off Bug repellent if needed. The hill was steep, but not an issue for our SUV and the owners warned you prior to your visit, which is appreciated. We wanted a nice private place and that's what Sodder Ridge offered. My husband and I are both educators and life is busy and this quiet time was desperately needed! So glad we went!

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! My kids loved being greeted by the sheep as soon as you pulled up! It was so peaceful and had everything you would need!

Great place to stay before our wedding. Was perfect to house all of our wedsing party. Only complaint is all the girls feet were hanging off the beds upstairs. The loft area is not meant for adults. All together great expereince.

A great place. Hot tub faces a hill covered in wildflowers. Bees out doing their thing. Everything about the house was perfect. All modern appliances, plenty of supplies in kitchen if someone wanted to cook. Cannot say enough good about this as destination and hosts.

The property was amazing. It was more than we could have asked for. We definitely want to go back.

It was a quiet retreat for us city folk.

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

Had a quiet romantic weekend with my wife and had the absolute best time. Airbnb is prepped with everything we could think of and forgot to think of. Close to Hocking Hills so we got some great hiking in and then came back and played some of the games that were there. We didn't bring the fur babies along with us this time but definitely would in the future, it's very much a puppy paradise. Didn't get a chance to use the fire pit or the hot tub but that was all available to us. Overall just a wonderful weekend <3

We had a great time at Grace's place. We were there for our daughter's graduation at OU and this was super convenient, only 20 minute drive from Athens we were able to get out of the hustle and bustle of Court st. on grad weekend and have a peaceful cabin getaway. The wraparound porch is stunning, the hot tub was perfect and although we didn't get to use the firepit, it is a nice touch for a late evening hangout. The cabin itself is well stocked with the necessities, Grace has done a really great job of keeping the cabin cozy, modern, neat, tidy and comfortable. There are two convenient bedrooms downstairs then upstairs is a fun space with three more beds and plenty of games and activities. We have already recommended this place to OU families we know to stay at when they are visiting, we will definitely be back next time with are in Athens!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! We had such a wonderful experience, and Margot & John are the most lovely, welcoming & kind people. They were so generous with their time and space, and it was a blessing to get to know them! We learned so much about farm life, and were so grateful for the opportunity to be hands-on with the farm chores. My daughter loved gathering eggs, feeding the chickens & caring for the goats. We loved Tibby the barn cat and Barron the horse. It was so fun watching Jim the border collie (the friendliest dog ever) herd the sheep and goats. The cabin is perfect - cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. The location is so peaceful & quiet with beautiful views of the pastures. Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit & admiring the stars was the perfect way to end an evening. Also close to the popular hiking trails (Old Man’s Cave, Rockhouse, etc) & 5 minutes from Lake Hope which has beautiful trails. Perfect trip for families. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing place! Very accommodating for pets - inside nooks set up for dogs to stay in, etc. Almost every amenity you can think of - above and beyond any AirBnB I’ve ever been in. Kitchen well stocked with seasonings, appliances and dishes, etc. Thanks for a nice get away!

Pam was a lovely host, and was quick to respond to any questions. The kitchen was well stocked with various seasonings and pots and pans. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings while sitting under the covered porch. The cabin was located nearby several Hocking Hills attractions. We hope to return sometime soon!

If you’re looking to unplug or work without distractions, this is a great cabin to reserve. Simply a beautiful region in Ohio and Valley View cabin offers solace and easy access to unique rural communities and of course nature. Wonderful host who cares about their property and their guests.

This was the perfect getaway for my in-law to use when visiting us for a long weekend. Not only was it just as depicted on the post, but it was easy for someone with limited mobility. The hosts even stopped in just before check-in to light the wood stove so the cabin would be cozy upon arrival. We could not have asked for better hosts or property, we would give 10 stars if able to!

When I searched for a place close to Hocking Hills State Park, this was right in the middle of it all! It was a beautiful place and super clean. The hot tub was a nice addition after the days of hiking! I would 100% stay here again!

what an awesome view going down the driveway to the cabin. Quiet,cozy and relaxing. Fishing was great. Small mouth bass and bluegill was what I was catching. We seen wild turkeys and deer and lots of different birds. Host was great in keeping in touch with us and the cabin was stocked up very well. We will definitely be going back! Thanks appreciate it! The Paramore's.

Easy to get checked in. The surrounding areas and cabin both kept clean. There is plenty of fun for kids such as a pool, playground, and some walking trails. It's maybe 3 miles to Walmart. Other campers were friendly, but kept to themselves which is great for privacy. No crazy parties or late night noisy activities.

We had a great weekend stay! Very relaxing and cozy cabin. We were able to check in early, and the owners were very kind! We had everything we needed to cook meals and we were close enough to restaurants and fun things to do. We would definitely stay again!!

We had a nice, relaxing stay at Joe's cabin. Wooly Bear was cozy and very nicely decorated in an interesting eclectic style. The huge covered porch made it wonderful to sit out and watch the storm.

We had a wonderful time. This cabin was peaceful and secluded. It was well worth the money and is in driving distance of many different things to do.

We have stayed at this location the past three or four years to celebrate New Year’s, and it is the perfect spot for our group. The kids love exploring in the woods and playing in the hot tub. Very secluded and peaceful. Beth is an excellent host and so easy to work with. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and experience!

What a beautiful space—right out of a magnolia home magazine :-) provided us a private and peaceful open concept gathering area. Had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again!!
