Connie’s place was wonderful! I was blown away by how much was available for us to use in the kitchen! Every utensil, appliance, even basic ingredients I needed and more was available. It was a quick walk to the beach, bikes were available too and we enjoyed them. My toddlers LOVED the hot tub. If you plan to visit and stay here, remember there are NO linens. Only blankets and pillow cases. There are not even hand towels in bathrooms or wash clothes, just the kitchen towels! Pack accordingly. Since we came in the off season, some things were still closed for the year. We found that there was much more to do up in Duck/Nags Head, but the drive up was enjoyable and serene. :) Connie was super accommodating and has impeccable communication. We’d love to stay here again some day.

The home was spacious and clean. Stores, beach, restaurants, and activities all within walking distance. Highly recommend! Sandra was very responsive and the maintenance people were quick to arrive and address a burnt out light bulb even though we advised it wasn’t an emergency. Great place to stay and great people to work with.

Great location, perfect walk to the beach, almost like oceanfront. Great hang out space and kitchen. Lots of extra blankets, fan for the white noise people. Great outdoor shower and basketball hoop. Walk to the beach was quick and not too challenging. Clean pool and hot tub!!! Would definitely come back!!!

This is our second time staying at Deb and Paul’s condo. The host is very responsive and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. It’s in a great location within A Place at the Beach. Our family loves it here!

Great house and great host. Had to make a last second change from a previous house we were staying in and Michelle was able to fit us in the night we asked and even before our allotted time. Made sure we had everything we needed and was always responsive. Very appreciative for her and her flexibility. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend to stay here.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house on our April vacation and it has been great each time. The location is great. The road is quiet enough for kids to bike rides on. There’s a gift shop at the end of the road at pizza/donut place at the end of the road that are open. We’ve stayed with two families each time very comfortably. The weather can be tricky in April so the pool can be heated at the extra cost, which is worth it but it does take a while to get warm enough sometimes if it’s colder outside. We’ve had great beach days each time we’ve traveled in April even if the weather is showing to be in the 60s on our Apple weather app. Several of the businesses are not open yet during April break, but this works well for us because we cook at home and just like to relax on the beach, walk to the pier (walkable fishing pier from the house) , bike ride/run/Swim/use the hot tub. I highly recommended.

Superb location for a peaceful end of year holiday vacation. Two level property with far reaching views from the upper level living room. Large open space with ample windows to see the sound. Beautiful sunsets from the windows and the deck facing the sound. Privacy assured from property next door due to design of deck overlooking the sound. Close to beaches for fishing and walking. Dog friendly (bring dog gates as there are no gates on entry steps outside property - all are open - we used two of our own dog gates on two levels to ensure dogs were contained and safe). Lighting in access area is not working. Noticed another review had said the same so maybe replace the bulb as it is a dark entrance area for accessing key code to enter property. Very clean interior. Robust furniture. Mattresses are very firm! Clean linen. Well stocked good sized open plan kitchen. (Food lion is nearest grocery store.) Highly recommend and would personally return again to this vacation property.

The furniture and beds are a little outdated but the condo is very cute and in a good location. It was easy to get in and the front desk people were very polite. The outdoor pool wasn’t open, that would have been nice to know before, but over all it was a nice getaway.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at one of Glenda’s homes in Oriental. She is a great host, and puts a lot of extra thought into making sure the homes are inviting and comfortable. This was the perfect house for us for a long wknd. We were able to walk to everything. I highly recommend booking the trip!

Place was clean, had a great location, and great for a large group stay for multiple days. No complaints.

This was our second time staying with Tami, and once again, everything was wonderful. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and easy stay. The furniture was super comfy, and the space had a really welcoming feel. We loved being about to walk to some local restaurants in the evening. Tami is always communicative and helpful, which makes the experience even better. The location is great—easy access to the beach and some solid fishing nearby, too. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

What a perfect gem! Such a convenient location and a perfect and welcoming place. Scott was great, from proactive communication before our stay to keeping us updated while we were at dinner about a power outage caused by Helene! I don’t have enough good things to say, we’ll definitely be back

We had a great stay at Out of the Blue. Margot was so responsive and helpful. Perfect location to get to/from beach easily and close to grocery, restaurants. Comfortable home. Would definitely return!

Clean, bright, comfortable place in a good location. Short walk to the beach and the pool is practically in the backyard.

Great place to stay we were down an evening early for a duck hunt - would also be a nice spot for a getaway or fishing trip!

Wonder place in a great location. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a vacation at the beach. Hatteras Village is a wonderful place to get away and enjoy.

Stayed here in early April. We loved that from the main floor we were able to see the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows and watch the dolphins. Loved the open floor plan on the main floor. You could see the view from everywhere. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you could need to make light lunches or full meals. The beds were very comfortable with quality matresses. Bedrooms had plenty of dresser space. The older kids enjoyed having a large space of their own on the lower floor to hang out, play games and watch movies together while the adults were on the main floor. Even though it was early for the season there was alot to see and do in the area and the pool was already open. We loved that we were able to walk off the back deck straight to the beach along a boardwalk. It made it so easy and convenient to go back and forth when you needed a break or just wanted to go out for a short time. This will be our first choice to stay again on our next visit.

Ross was friendly and easy to communicate with for our last minute stay. The house is clean and large enough for a big group. There is only one queen size bed and the rest are twin and full size bunk beds which is unique but worked fine for us. The location is convenient and easy to find. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, could use some newer pans but that's the case with most rentals. We didn't use the hot tub & pool much but they were clean and ready to go.

Great space with a lot of room for two people. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, the pool area was amazing, and we were within walking and biking distance to everything Ocracoke has to offer. We also had some issues with our truck while we were there, and Donna was very accommodating and understanding. The Cabanas are an amazing place to stay!

My youngest daughter, granddaughter and I were the only ones who were able to take the trip. We all love the ocean so much. We couldn't believe we were just steps from the beach and the pool. Our oceanfront view was amazing! The cozy balcony had four very comfortable wooden tall chairs. The beach was great, not packed like sardines. It was clean, quiet and spacious. Our condo was on the first floor which left us a short flight of stairs to get to the condo. I have bad knees so it was wonderful being on the lower floor. The kitchen had just about everything one would need to prepare meals. We made our own coffee every day and cooked our meals in. It is so wonderful to have a kitchen. All the linens were clean, packed efficiently and plentiful. The starter soaps and supplies were great. We will definitely be returning to this facility again.

Great little getaway home in a wonderful location with beautiful amenities. The house is cozy, modern and clean!

This is a perfect place to stay while on Ocracoke! Very comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed a swim in the pool too! This spot is quiet and lovely. We enjoyed our morning coffee around the pool and enjoyed the smell of jasmine that was starting to open up and listened to the mourning doves. Easy walk to Ocracoke Coffee and The Back Porch restaurant. Don’t forget to shop at Bella Fiore and Books to be Red. We will be back!
