This was such a beautiful place! The host was very responsive to any question I had. The space was very clean and had everything we needed . We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend to anyone coming to the Clemson area!

We were six family members staying for a wedding weekend in Highlands, NC. After the devastation from storm Helene, we were concerned if the house had any damage and if there were any road closures between the house and Highlands. The host was extremely helpful and responsive answering our questions and offering multiple alternate routes to the venue due to road closures. The house was spacious and comfortable for our family. We wished that we had more time there to enjoy the house and surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything went very smoothly and the place was absolutely beautiful. The view was stunning, and being so close to the water made it even better. The private beach area was definitely the highlight—such a bonus! The neighbors were very friendly, and there was plenty of privacy, which made it even more relaxing. The hosts had everything we needed and were very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

My family and I came here to celebrate my sons 17th birthday…we usually stay at the local beach or go to Disney, so I was worried this would be too laid back and serene for my kids. Turns out I had nothing to worry about because we all had an amazing time. The scenery was breathtaking! I loved having all the space that Donnas place had to offer - all the teenagers stayed downstairs in their own “house” with private deck, while my husband and I had the upstairs house with wrap around deck. Watching the sun rise over the mountains every morning with my coffee was the highlight. We visited many local restaurants and tourist traps, and had a blast. The only thing I could recommend is a new mattress in the master ~ but that’s just me because I require a very specific mattress! There were more than enough linens and cleaning products - we did all of our laundry on New Year’s Eve so we wouldn’t be doing it on New Year’s Day when we got home. Will be back for sure!

Definitely 5++ star review. Everything we needed was already there. Best experience with Airbnb yet. Our family enjoyed everything Hardystone had to offer. We never had to turn on a TV because there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. From Ping Pong and Pool Tournaments to Paddle Boarding to S’mores by the fire! We will most definitely rent through this group again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home on Lake Keowee! Even though we were only there for one night, it exceeded all of our expectations. We’ve stayed at many places over the years, and this home truly stands out. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Lake Keowee holds a special place in my heart — I grew up coming here — and being on the lake, especially somewhere so thoughtfully cared for, made it even more meaningful. Shannon was incredibly accommodating and communicative, making everything easy from start to finish. We spent the day cruising on the water, watching our kids have the best time, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay — thank you, Shannon, for sharing your wonderful home and helping create such special memories for our family!

A very beautiful house with everything you need, right in front of the lake. It’s quite spacious and has fun games for the kids. Everything was clean and well-organized, with towels, soap, and all the essentials provided.

Oh my gosh, this place exceeded our expectations, and the hosts are fantastic to boot. We’ll definitely be booking another stay soon!
