We came for spring break from Montana, and Greg’s place was amazing for walking distance to the beach and so many local restaurants! We opted to rent a car for just one day to go to San Diego, and utilized uber and the train from LAX to the nearby station for any other travel. Greg was responsive and had great local recommendations, and all the beach toys we could want. A great week away from the snow!

Our short stay at Pete & Cathy's place has been absolutely wonderful. It was a get together with some friends and everybody was impressed by how pleasant the place felt like. The kitchen was clean and has everything that we needed. There were plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds and the bathrooms were clean. I love how thoughtful they were to give us some wine and cold drinks as complimentary plus the toiletries in the bathrooms. I also love that they texted recomendations on what to do and where to eat around the area. It honestly felt like home. Being so close to the beach was also amazing. We didn't get to use the hot tub or the bikes but hopefully we can when we come back next time!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Micah’s beautiful waterfront retreat. The peacefulness of the place was exactly what I needed for a relaxing getaway. The home is spacious, bright, and filled with thoughtful touches that made my stay even more enjoyable. The views from the living area are breathtaking, and I spent hours just admiring the serene lake. Micah was an exceptional host—responsive, attentive, and always ready to help. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape!

Lisa’s place was the perfect home base to stay in Encinitas, the backyard was a beautiful oasis and the cottage is surprisingly spacious inside. We used the space as a live/ work remote space for a week and loved our stay. Specifically the king bed was extremely comfortable for sleeping and this place is also a quick drive to everything you want to visit in Cardiff or Encinitas! Thank you!

David is a great host that response quickly. The house is cosy . And the bed is good .

Kandi and her family created something truly special here….. the word we kept using was whimsical. The dome was amazing and it honestly felt like a step up from glamping,if you stay here you’ll know what I mean and hopefully someone might be clever enough to think of a word for it. Ultimately, what else could you want. It had everything from sleeping under the stars to dining next to a beautiful fire place, not to mention the great hospitality and warm welcome we received. If you see it’s available, don’t pass the opportunity to stay here! You won’t regret it! We have it 5 stars, it would be more if we could!

This is our second year staying at this property and we are already talking about a 2026 reservation. Love, love, love this house! It has a fabulous kitchen, relaxing and comfortable living spaces and very nice bedrooms. The outdoor space is breathtaking and has a private beach area with outdoor firepit. We enjoyed snacks and drinks on the outdoor patio as well. We can't wait to return to this wonderful beach getaway.

Absolutely amazing vintage beach house at prime location 1/2 block from the beach. Loved the vintage beach house vibe, the welcoming and peaceful patio garden, and the many amenities provided. Comfy beds, easy access to many local spots, and a wonderful place for a family to spend time together. Karen is an amazing host!!! I would tell anyone heading to Del Mar to try and stay at this home!

Location, location, location! If you want to kick off your shoes and pop right over to the beach, this is the place. You don’t need shoes your entire vacation. The sand is a few steps away, the sounds of the ocean out your windows at night, a gorgeous park for kids is super close, lots of restaurants, sweet treats and little shops everywhere! Yes, it’s located on top of a restaurant/happenin’ sports bar. Yes, you can hear it during the day, but with the windows closed, it’s completely reasonable and it closes early at night so you hear nothing whatsoever when you’re sleeping. Parking is no big deal. This place is in the very heart of La Jolla Shores and the road is closed off in front of it so it’s pedestrian traffic only. It’s LOVELY! There were no boogie boards in the apartment, but I don’t think the owners realized that based on the description. Everything else was EXACTLY as presented. The owner was incredibly responsive, within minutes, sometimes seconds. We’ll definitely be back!
