Kris was very responsive & communicated well throughout our stay. The place was very clean and has everything you need in a kitchen, clean & comfortable beds, with extra towels & linens.

This was the perfect place for our vacation with four generations! there was a main floor bedroom and bathroom for the grandparents and separate bedrooms for everyone upstairs. There was lots of room to spread out. We were very comfortable. The long table in the dining room was a nice gathering place. We loved walking around town and visiting the shops and cafe! The Silver Lake sand dunes were amazing and just 15 minutes away! We would love to come back again!

Kathleen was a wonderful host and helped us feel at home in her home. We were welcomed with a handwritten card and fresh cinnamon rolls. Her place felt cozy from the start! Her communication was excellent and she responded quickly to our questions. We enjoyed our retreat time at the farmhouse and also walked the beach at Lake Michigan just a few miles away. We also loved the fireplace. We highly recommend Kathleen’s place and would definitely return!

Writing this review, with considerable jet lag, I can say the only feedback prompt I paused on was "value." This wasn't a cheap week. But seriously, it shouldn't have be. This is a large, well appointed property in a seriously beautiful lake country setting. Moreover, it's a real house for real people, not a beige/grey generic airbnb-fab unit created for the purpose of a revenue stream. Also- If you are a client with a boat/boat aspirations, don't think twice. This place is awesome.

Alisha was a great host! Things were exactly as described. The location was perfect and plenty of space for the kids to run and have fun. Close to the dunes and Lake Michigan. Alisha responded to messages very quickly and was very friendly! We hope to rent from her again!

This is a gem! I love well organized and well designed spaces. Attention to detail was everywhere. If anything was amiss, Libbie gave me a heads up well before ever arriving (e.g. the front door may need a little extra shove to open). I want to come back and page through more of the books on the shelves and enjoy some warmer days in the deck and screened in porch. I told Libbie what I was interested in doing the area as it was my first time to Pentwater. Even in the off-season, she has lots of suggestions for where to go eat, window shop, hike and bike. Absolutely adorable and super kind host!

We had a fantastic time. Our winter walk on the beach w/the grandkids will be a lasting memory. We had the whole beach to ourselves. The home's location is very private... no hustle and bustle. It is filled with large windows everywhere and the beauty of the property during winter was amazing! Nothing was spared in our needs. Plenty of linens and towels for a big group. We didn't eat out and cooked each meal in the well appointed kitchen w/all the pots and pans and accessories that you need. Selma was great, was quick to communicate and very welcoming. We plan on booking again!

Amazing stay at Josh and Angela's place. Extremely clean, tidy, spacious to accommodate our adult kids/spouses and 2 young children. Kitchen VERY well equipped and ample available cabinet space to hold our food and snacks. We grilled each night. Josh and Angela were responsive when we asked questions and very conscientious. Having the private association beachfront accessible was truly wonderful. Never crowded. There were nice games available and toys for the Littles. I love that the kids not only got the Lake Michigan experience, but also wooded surrounds and campfire experience. Utilized the kayaks, sand toys and beach chairs. Visit Ludington with Littles- take them to the Sandcastle museum. Our 5 year olds spent all morning, then lunch break and returned for the afternoon with plenty to explore. They asked to go back the following day! As a former educator, I highly recommend supporting this museum!! Would definitely return!!

Great space, great location! The property was exactly as described and so many wonderful touches. Small candy dish, amenities, plenty of room and the decorations in the house were fantastic. Communication was above average. Great time was had by all. We will definitely rent again!

This place is fantastic for a group that loves the outdoors! They had all the basics covered and we didn’t want for anything. There is a bar/restaurant right up the road with good food and a pool table. We saw a bunch of wildlife including a bobcat. Very peaceful getaway- great hosts!

Awesome stay, we have done this with the family for a few years and really have a wonderful time between the cabin and the amenities at double jj. The place is hard to find as the directions take you down a service road, but once there it’s a dream.

I got to say the pictures don’t make justice to this amazing place, so cozy and beautiful. Equipped with everything you need, the bed was comfortable and the fireplace just perfect, Marlene was an amazing host, she was so responsive and kind, she even gave us fresh eggs, super helpful, we’re definitely coming back. We went here for a mini honeymoon after our wedding. We wanted to look at the stars and this location seemed perfect since it was so secluded. Conviently when we visited the northern lights were visible in this area. Will definitely be back!

We spent a couple days exploring Double JJ Ranch and Robert’s house was about 7-10 minutes from the ranch. Perfect location for us! It was a great house to rent.
