There was no one around during our stay. Had deer in the backyard along with a little fox friend. Very relaxing and much needed break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment you enter this cottage, you are transported to a place of unbelievable tranquility and calm. The view of the ocean greets you like a soothing hug, and you immediately know you’ve entered a very special place. The house was beautifully appointed with everything you could need or want. It was super clean and tidy, uncluttered but cozy. Whether you sat on the deck or cuddled up in a warm blanket in the window nook, the ocean views kept calling to us to take another look. We even cancelled dinner reservations and decided to cook at the house so that we could drink in more of this wondrous coastline. There was a well-stocked market not too far where we could get provisions. There is also a private beach access for those who like to wander in the sand. If you are looking for one of the best seaside experiences of your life, do not scroll by this beautiful cottage. It went way beyond any of our expectations, and I’m sure it won’t disappoint you either.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at your home. The house was well appointed and had everything that we needed/wanted. The setting was gorgeous. We loved getting to view wildlife right from the house and take in the beautiful views. The host was very responsive and sent helpful messages with information in anticipation to our arrival and departure. We definitely look forward to returning!

Beautiful, peaceful and lovely stay. This was a fantastic place and one of the best Airbnb stays in my experience. Paulette is a friendly host and has included so many extras in her rental. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need and she has stocked the bathrooms with many extras. The location is beautiful with decks and windows that view the lake. The completely fenced back yard with the private beach really was beautiful and relaxing. We could let our dogs run free and they loved it. There are California buckeye trees there so I picked up the fruit that had dropped so my dog wouldn't chew them. There is a nice pergola on the beach so we could sit in the shade while the dogs played. Do try the Crestview walk listed in the binder. We drove to the dirt road, parked and had a really nice dog walk. We also walked the Redbud trail off of Hwy 20 which was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I enjoyed a lot this dream Airbnb. We had a very relaxing weekend and the place was very well decorated, cosy and surrounding by nature. We can't wait to come back

What a wonderful place and a pleasure to stay. Cheryl and Hobart were great hosts - super responsive, friendly and helpful with local recommendations. The property was actually BETTER than the photos, which is saying a lot! If you enjoy the rocky northern California coastline and churning waves, then this location just simply cannot be beat. The beach right below the property and to the south is easily accessible and one of the few in the area that are dog friendly. The house itself is charming and comfortable, while the outdoor area is breathtaking. We can’t wait to stay here again.

I almost hesitate to say how great this place was so that it stays a hidden gem that’s available to us for stay after stay. It has stunning views from every window, is more spacious than it appears in photos and exceeded all of our expectations. Particularly fabulous were all the stunning houseplants - including some two stories high - that were all healthy and happy. We could not believe this is a dog friendly place - there wasn’t any evidence that a dog had ever been inside. Immaculate. Ted was responsive and friendly. We hope to be back soon!!

The house was beautiful and a restful place away from the city. I agree with other reviews and it was super clean. My small family thoroughly enjoyed the house and its proximity to hiking trails and Healdsburg downtown.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Kevin’s place and it won’t be the last! Perfect location next to the lodge (walkable for meals and drinks) but completely private and very well equipped to never leave if you don’t want to!

Lovely home and huge! They had a good stereo but didn’t have the right connections for our phones, and had no way to listen to music. Vacasa office told us that we didn’t need to pick up the packet- which we appreciated because we were late - but then we discovered we had to have parking passes or they would boot our car until we paid cash for the fine. Would be easier to put parking passes in the house.

Beautiful home perfectly situated on a quiet cul-de-sac. Gorgeous ocean views with a lovely deck with dining table and outdoor seating area with gas fireplace. Spacious kitchen and living room - plenty of space for our family with two young kids.

Such an amazing stay and visit! We had an extremely relaxing a peaceful stay at Sea Ranch. The house is so welcoming and stocked with anything you could need. Everything is so thoughtful, and well appointed, you feel like you are at home. We loved all the little details about this place that is such a treasure and clearly so loved. We saw so many animals, and could easily walk to the beach. You can hear the Ocean from your window and enjoy your coffee in the morning watching the ocean. Honestly, Nate and Nora’s place is our new favorite at sea ranch. Hosts are so nice and quick to respond. We had a lovely time relaxing, and being out in nature. Thank you both so much, we only have good things to say, thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Beautiful and super clean house in the magical woods. We loved the window seats everywhere and watching the deer visit every day. The beds are very comfy and towels plush. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub under the stars. Some aspects of the house are a little more rustic than modern, but still very comfortable and cozy. The owner is super responsive and thoughtful and obviously cares a lot about her home.

Had a wonderful stay at Willa and Craig's home. The house is beautiful and had plenty of space to spread out. The loft was a hit with our five year old. Location is great, roughly five minute drive to Gualala and a short walk to the beach. Would stay again!

Beautiful, well-appointed home at iconic development in spectacular Coastal Sonoma. Very comfortable. Enjoyed walking the bluffs, whale watching and star gazing. Great access to tennis and pool in community rec center. No shopping nearby so remember to stock up on supplies before arriving.

We loved how easily accessible the lake is with your own dock and a launch not too far away. Our kids loved the Lilly pad, slide and kayaks provided! There were also a lot of life jackets available which was nice. The bottle of wine and complimentary tastings at a local winery was a nice touch! I loved the boho decor and there was plenty of amenities in the kitchen. We will definitely be back another time :)

A great spot with amazing views, and so quiet! The house was spacious and clean, as advertised. Can't wait to go back next time I want to play golf.

Our overall stay was absolutely amazing — we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We brought our little ones with us, and ever since the trip, they’ve been begging to go back. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, the views were breathtaking, and we will definitely be returning!

It’s a beautiful home and love the view. I wouldn’t mind booking again in the future. My wife and kids enjoyed their stay as well as myself. We had the best time at Charlie’s home and made some great memories! The home was super spacious, clean, and had all the amenities needed. We especially loved how the natural light flowed into the kitchen and dining room. The views of the river and redwood trees was so breathtaking. It’s also in a great location, just a few minutes from Guernville and a Safeway if you need groceries. We are already talking about coming back next summer. Thank you Charlie!
