We had earlier booked a different place to spend the weekend in, but due to unforeseen circumstances, had to find another place. We were very lucky to find Richard's place--it suited our requirements (big place to accommodate our extended family; kitchen to cook in; pool for the kids; separate accommodations per family) and we were able to enjoy our weekend celebrating our mom's 75th birthday.

Staying at this farm stay was truly a core memory for me. The place exudes a peaceful, ancestor house vibe that instantly makes you feel grounded and connected to simpler times. It’s wonderfully quiet—perfect if you want to reset and immerse yourself in nature. The pool is very kid-friendly, making it an ideal spot for families. Plus, the farm lot is open for roaming, and you can pick fresh vegetables right from the garden, which was such a delightful and unique experience. I absolutely adored the variety of plants they have; it’s a little green paradise. For those who need to stay connected, the WiFi is impressively fast. I was able to attend meetings and work remotely without any issues, which made balancing work and relaxation seamless. Six days here simply wasn’t enough. I’m already planning my return because this place offers the perfect blend of tranquility, nature, and comfort. If you want to truly reset and recharge, you need to book this farm stay!

Truly a one of a kind escape. If you are looking for a private resort, just you and your loved ones or friends, and no other guests, beautiful surroundings, peaceful, large sprawling property, only 2.5 hours from Manila --- then this is the place for you. I came with family, relatives, all eleven of us. Most importantly, my elderly Mom who is in a wheelchair was accommodated with care. The boat ride on a decent size banka was only 5 minutes or so, and there were enough people to lift her in her wheelchair in and out of the banka. The house caretakers were so friendly and responsive. Preci went to the market for us daily, bought fresh prawns, crabs, fish, etc. The chef was not available due to holy week. But we were able to cook easily in the well stocked large kitchen. The rooms for each cotttage were very large and comfortable to fit a lot more than the 11 in our trip. The 3 dogs (2 labs, one golden) were super friendly and playful. The pictures speak for themselves. Beautiful

Quelle expérience! Un séjour au manoir et très vite on perd toute notion du temps. Le lieu est sublime, à été construit avec amour et on ressent bien le plaisir que les hôtes Michel et Éric ont de recevoir des voyageurs. Michel est plus qu’arrangeant, il est venu lui même nous chercher au port, à tous les contacts nécessaires et les bons conseils. Vous ne trouverez pas mieux à Puerto Galera !

John Louie is very accommodating and responsive. Replies right away and gives exact directions. He’s very proactive too. The place is exactly as described. Same as the photos too. It is very spacious and clean. The pool is warm (summer time) nice to relax in. The weather is extemely hot when we arrived so it’s not best to swim around 10am-3pm. We just had lunch and played with board games that they provided. We also did karaoke. Suggestion to put sun shade at the pool area. They provided clean blankets. Complete kitchen appliances (ref, microwave, coffee maker, rice cooker, 2 burner stove, pans, pots and bowls. They also have a griller. The pool lights and water falls are some of the features the children loved. The overall stay was excellent and we will definitely come back.

Had a great stay! The place was exactly as described, clean, cozy, and in a great location. The host and staff were super responsive and made check-in easy and smooth. Everything we needed was provided, and the space felt really comfortable and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Value for money! The place was clean and new. We're surprised that the rooms are big and spacious. The pool is a good size with bonfire and dining area conveniently placed nearby. The host is approachable and answers all our queries promptly. We enjoyed our stay so much that it'll be a core memory for our group for the coming years. Thank you also for the caretakers that cleaned after us. We also apologize for being loud and not keeping our volumes on check during quiet hours. Hope we can stay here again soon.

Maria and her husband were very gracious hosts. They greeted us and met us and gave us a tour around when we arrived. Cozy and warm place. Reminds me of my home in the province. Pool is not too big but great for night swimming with temperate water. The Beach is a very short walk away and great for small children because it’s not deep at all even at high tide. There were algae though, maybe just the season. White sand but have pebbles. The beach has some trash probably from the ocean. There is a land bridge which is great for picture taking and going to the deeper part. Probably the only thing we didn’t like is the tap water is salty, which is not uncommon for coastal towns. The place provides privacy for medium and large groups. Amenities are complete with pugon if you are into baking dishes and artisanal pizza. Menu of authentic tasting Italian cuisine also available but pricey probably because it is prepared fresh and ingredients have to be bought in the city. Overall 5/5 stars

Celebrated my partner's birthday here with her dearest friends. The host was very responsive, the canva guide was very concise yet complete. Easy to reach even through commute, walkable from national road Very peaceful ambience, complete with tons of activities, board games, basketball ring + ball, archery, mahjong board, modern videoke set-up. Well planned interior, matched our cream theme. Spotless as well. The caretaker was very accommodating, easy to talk to, and super punctual. Personal favorite was the pool, the long table by the pool really hit the spot. The 4-6 ft pool depth was very enjoyable.
