I can only echo all the positive comments from previous reviewers. Wendy was a delightful host, friendly and conscious of my needs but not intrusive. We had some lovely conversations. The bedroom was quiet, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had my own bathroom; again spotless. There was good choice for breakfast and all was freshly and beautifully cooked - perfect eggs! Many thanks Wendy. I will look forward to a return visit at some point.

A lovely lady, who made our stay very welcoming. Location was perfect. Breakfast filled us up ready for the day! Stopped at this Air BnB with a group of friends and honestly I cannot sing the praises of this place and this host enough. location was nice and quiet and the house itself was clean, accommodating and well presented. All the bed rooms are a decent size and comfortable The extra touches that Fin placed in this property really made the experience special. Fin was an excellent and responsive host who is always polite and only too happy to help. Response time was brilliant and they were always forthcoming with information and answers Absolutely 5 star place and host. I cannot recommend highly enough. Would definitely stay here again

An ideal place to stay with cheap transportation into the centre. Hosts were great and communication and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. Beds were comfy and the place was clean

Great stay with Heather and Andy. Really friendly welcome and everything was great. Really fresh and clean and felt very private with own room and bathroom. Lots of thoughtful touches with the kitchenette and breakfast and WiFi chargers. Very handy for the football and cricket and the city and really nice area. Highly recommend.

Lovely house in a good location. Very clean with a great lounge, also comfortable and nice sized rooms. Jasmine was really helpful and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again!

We had 2 nights at Butler’s Retreat. Really good and top quality accommodation. Exactly as it shows on the photos and description. Sir Richard was very helpful and responsive in every way. We had amazing weather for February and took a lovely circular 2 hour walk from the property and enjoyed the tearoom lunch at the end.

Joy was lovely! We enjoyed our stay absolutely beautiful and the area was really nice and rural, everything you need for a few days, would definitely return. Thank you for hosting us 😊

Lovely private annex - was just what we needed. WiFi was here and there but Rob was so quick to respond and helped us within 10 minutes of messaging. Comfy bed, everything you need in the kitchen and lovely little living area. A short walk from where we needed to be. Would definitely stay again

We loved our stay at Kate's apartment. Firstly, Kate is a fantastic host and communication was spot on prior to our visit. The apartment is well looked after, spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Everything has been well thought out and you will absolutely 100% have everything you need for your stay. We loved that the apartment had a 'home from home' feel to it; our 3 year old and 19 month daughters loved exploring (it's a bit of a tardis with plenty of space!) and really appreciated the toys that were there. The local area is ideal for exploring all that the peak district has to offer. Highly recommend trips to Thornbridge Estate and hiring bikes along the Monsal trail. If you want to stay in and cook then it's no problem as the apartment has everything you need however you won't go far wrong if you decide to eat at Toll Bar Chippy (about a minutes stroll down the hill) or Stella's Kitchen located not far from Eyam. Overall, highly recommended. Would love to return.

Great place to stay - I was looking for a quiet place and this fit the bill. Things are clean, and cozy. Andrew is very responsive which I appreciated.

David and Justine are extremely kind and accommodating. The homemade breakfast items and fruit are a treat every morning! Special diets are taken into account and the hosts aim to make your stay special and comfortable. I was given directions for a lovely walk in the hills which I thoroughly enjoyed. I appreciated the electric blanket and space heater to take the chill off when needed. Shops for food and restaurants are a very short walk down the road.

5* Bed and Breakfast We're so glad to have found this place to spend 4 wonderful nights. We just wish we could have stayed for longer. Karen and Chris were warm and welcoming from the very beginning and took care in showing us around the property which is beautiful inside and out. The room was stunning and had everything you could ever need and the soft and plump furnishings didnt go amiss. Everything was perfect! After a long day of hiking we were able come back to an amazing power shower, a large cosy bed and relax for the night in the nice fluffy robes that were on offer. We were always welcomed with big smiles first thing in the morning and set up for the day ahead with a delicious breakfast. Karen and Chris were always so attentive and friendly which made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. We loved our morning chats with Karen, it felt like we had known her for years. We've found a little peace of paradise and we can't wait to visit again x

Maywalk House provided everything we needed and more for our walking break in the Peak District, including a comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a hearty breakfast cooked by Felicity to kick start each day. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Miners Arms in Eyam village, which serves good evening meals. Felicity is a great host, friendly and welcoming but at the same time unobtrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend Maywalk House Airbnb.

Wonderful stay again, would highly recommend the place, a little gem. Always such thoughtful and lovely hosts, thank you. Also lovely jewellery for sale, our daughters were very happy with there gift.

We had a lovely one night stay at The Stables whilst visiting for a wedding. Very clean and everything was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and Angela was very accommodating!

Mark was a great host and we got on like a house on fire. Perfect position, lovely and clean and with great breakfasts. Will definitely recommend it.

The cottage was very clean, very cute, and well placed - Chatsworth House is highly recommended, but definitely go early and stay all day because it's huge! It was a very comfortable and homey stay, and the fresh eggs, bread, and milk provided were all delicious and very welcomed. Ed and his family were all very friendly and we'll absolutely be back!
