This home was absolutely gorgeous with the best views of surrounding nature. It was full of character and had plenty of room for our family. With so much charm, we felt right at home. The street was immensely quiet and peaceful. It was only about 15 minutes from Knoebel’s amusement park- which is the reason for our trip. It was about 10 minutes away from local food establishments. Close enough, yet far enough away! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We would love to come back again. Thank you for having us!

Thanks for another Great stay! As always the short ride to AOAA for riding makes this place fantastic for any offroad group looking for a place with plenty of room. Our group of 9 enjoyed the back yard firepit and grilling! Plenty of parking for our large trucks and trailers! Thanks again, and look foward to booking again!

We really enjoyed staying here with our friends. Loved that there was an outdoor patio area (even though we didn’t use it because it was cold) and a pool table downstairs. Clean house, easy to find, and only 20 minutes from Knoebels. Would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly host! Very respectful. The house is definitely quiet and private. we really enjoyed our stay. The weather didn't cooperate so we weren't able to use the firepit but we have zero complaints.

This is the fourth time my group stayed at Galileo’s Haven. There are so many reasons we keep choosing to stay here. It’s a beautiful home! Colin and Anne are more than pleasant and always make sure we are accommodated. We will be back for a fifth stay!

We loved this house! It was just perfect for our needs. Barbara was incredibly helpful and responsive. If you’re looking for a modern, updates-throughout space, this isn’t the home for you. BUT, if you’re looking for a spacious home, full of charm and character, with all of the things you need for a comfortable stay, this house meets the mark. We would most definitely stay again!

The perfect house to come back to after long days hiking! The listing was even better than expected, and was the perfect size for a couple people. We were immediately greeted by Frank when we arrived, and one of their dogs early the next morning. I loved reading the history of the AirBnB- because of how the building was built, like the listing said, the stairs to the bedroom are steep, but as long as you walk carefully, they are manageable. Fully stocked kitchen, wonderful bathroom, the comfiest bed to rest our head after travels. We can’t wait to stay again!

We stayed here while visiting family over Thanksgiving. The place was clean and kitchen was well stocked to do some Thanksgiving meal prep. Linda was very responsive and accommodating.

We had a lovely stay. It was spacious and comfortable for our weekend visiting Susquehanna University for a weekend track meet. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was easy to get in and out and close to everything. We will definitely stay again if we have any events at the University.

My family needed a place to be together after a death in the family and this was perfect. Some of us had to travel with our dogs and finding a “dog friendly” place can be a challenge. The house has rustic charm and out in the country, away from people. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely look at this an a future option when we come to visit.

Great place close to Bucknell. Looking forward to staying again in the future when I'm in the area.

This Air BnB served it’s purpose and then some! Extremely cozy, the back yard was heaven for our dog and there are convenience stores right behind the back yard. It is only 20 minutes to drive to Knoebels amusement park and when you get home, there is 1 private parking spot waiting for you behind the house. While the jets in the soaker-tub did not work, this location is easily a 10/10 would recommend.

The listing was accurate. Does not contain a microwave which would have been good to know beforehand, but wasn't a deal breaker by any means. The kids had fun with the basketball game offered in the lower loving area! House is older, could use some updates, and some of the neighborhood houses are boarded, but with time this area could really live up to its absolutely stunning view of the mountains from the back patio! Would absolutely stay again.

Great place to stay for our Knoebels vacation! Super clean and close. What more could you ask for. Great history and made us feel right at home. Will be staying again in the future for sure.
