Kay's place was perfect for a couple of night's getaway. She was a very quick communicator and everything was as expected. She kindly left us freshly baked bread, as well as honey and apples from her property. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was well stocked and much more spacious than we expected. Kay's husband James sorted the pizza over for us and we cooked homemade pizzas. The property is private and secluded but just up a driveway from the road. Would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Would happily stay again or suggest it to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at Bobs place. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Very easy going and quick to respond, so peaceful and quiet and looks just like the pictures. 5 star

This house is beautifully situated right on the water - at high tide the water reaches the wall. The house is beautifully decorated and feels very homey. With a log fire, a separate granny flat and 3 other good sized bedrooms, we loved our stay here. Would definitely recommend.

Shane and Lesley’s place was fantastic. I have to say the photos don’t lie, in real life the property is perfect!!! The views are stunning, the grounds are very well maintained and they have fruit & veggie trees for your use! We had a fantastic time there and would love to come back one day.

A wonderful place and great hosts. The pond right below the property is beautiful and the kids enjoyed running around and exploring. The place was specious, clean and perfect for our family stay. Thanks for a great experience, we'll definitely come back again if we'll be in the area.

Amazing property which was even better than it looked in the photos. Very well equipped with everything you need and communication with Emma was quick and easy. Pool, spa and outdoor fireplace were a big hit!

This apartment was absolutely brilliant! We only meant to stay a few night but ended up staying more! Kelly was very helpful, and the apartment was perfectly placed in Russell. It had all of the amenities that we needed. We loved it! Thanks Kelly.

Utterly gorgeous accommodation, beautiful decor, clean and spacious, decent hosts, just wished there was 2 single beds as well as the queen bed! Would love to visit again in winter and get the fire going. Really cosy vibes

Joanna's place was filled with care and consideration. Lovely retro decor, luxury bed linen and great colour combos. A sanctuary close to the kauri forest. We felt right at home and enjoyed cooking our meals in the well thought out kitchen with plenty of utensils. Joanna also organised massages for us on the last day with Feur and Jed. And they were exceptional. We had such a lovely nurturing weekend away!

This accomodation is full of personality and it is an interesting and enjoyable space to be in . While the Dairy Factory is an old building ,all the surfaces are freshly painted ,clean and well cared for. The fresh flowers and produce bring a welcoming touch .I will definitely recommend and will definitely return with the team I work with.Many thanks Sue

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

A beautiful home that was well equipped for a busy Christmas Day with family. The outlook was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the alfresco areas, playing pétanque and finding the tree swing. A simply beautiful retreat to relax and unwind.

Incredible location and home for a large group looking to spend time together. We were four adult couples and two toddlers. The space was perfect, having a bunk room and separate lounge for the little ones with enough bathrooms and privacy in different zones around the house. Direct beach access, quick walk to the local shop, cafe, playground and surfclub. Can't wait to come back!

We had the most beautiful stay at Shaileshs place. The views are amazing, epic sunsets and sunrises. It’s super peaceful with the sounds of nature all around you! We held a family event at the property and everything was perfectly set up for entertaining. Shailesh was a wonderful host, they super responsive and helpful, and even left very thoughtful touches which made our stay even more special. Would definitely recommend this property and host!

Shivani is an absolutely delight and a fantastic host! The description and pictures represented the beautiful and tastefully decorated home to perfection. It was really a home away from home. Beautiful location, gorgeous views and incredibly well maintained property and home. Thank you Shivani, for your generous hospitality, warm and helpful nature and being so incredibly responsive.
