Absolutely brilliant weekend with the wife, just what we wanted, a quiet peaceful getaway, secluded with privecy, very clean and comfortable, the hot tub was lovely and clean, all the essentials needed if wanting to cook etc, we opted for a local takeaway one night, menus in the cabin or use just eat etc, then hit Leeds the next day, I would highly recommend to anyone, and I would stay again, if you like glamping, this for me is 10 times better, no other pods near you, pure bliss with lovely surrounding views, especially on a night, the cabin has lights around the top, the hot tub has lights, and all you can hear are the birds, all in all it was a fantastic experience and Lee was always at hand for anything we needed, and answered any questions swiftly, I'd recommend to anyone without a second thought and plan to return again in the future.

The moment I met Rebecca nothing was too much hassle, I got a message on the morning of my check in asking for a rough ETA, that was so the tub was perfect and up to temps. The pod was lovely and clean, fairly basic but exactly what we needed. The pups settled straight in and some amazing walks nearby, salty dog etc. after our walk we needed to top the heat up and even at gone 8pm nothing was too much trouble as we struggle to get the fire lit again for the tub, so her son came out to show us once again. The toilets were clean and presentable. No noise on the campsite and everybody was pleasant. Honestly it was perfect , Thankyou

We had a brilliant stay. Absolutely loved the place. Bed super comfy and the bath was amazing. Apartment had everything we needed. Short walk down to bars and restaurants. Host was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

A gorgeous weekend spent with friends in the Old Potting Shed. What a beautiful home, very well equipped and stunning surroundings. James popped round to say hello and gave us some recommendations of walks and places to eat over the weekend! Hopefully we will return one day! :)

We had just the best weekend here. It done exactly as it said on the tin. Tracy, Gary, Panda and all the other animals were just soo friendly. The jacuzzi lodge was soo quirky and perfect. Gary made us beautiful Huby carrot cake which we all loved. The kids got to help with all the animals which they soo enjoyed. WiFi worked perfectly and we had absolutely no issues at all. Absolutely amazing to spend time with Mary the new born lamb and also a big shout out to shakey the cockerel. There is everything you need in the cottage. We brought everything we needed but there are places in the village and shops not too far a drive away. We cannot wait to return. These rescue animals are soo lucky to have found such a lucky forever home. Soo heart warming how much they are all loved. The Out of Africa cabin is ace and the camp site is also great and a few lovely wee fire pit areas to sit about at night with other guests. We will definitely be back. My stay at this glamping pod was absolutely incredible! Nestled away on a serene farm, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself was cozy and beautifully designed, providing all the comforts I could ask for. The highlight of my trip was definitely the hot tub; soaking under the stars while enjoying the peaceful surroundings was simply magical. The privacy of the location made it even more special, allowing me to fully unwind and connect with nature. I can't recommend this spot enough—it's a hidden gem for anyone looking to recharge!

We’ve had an amazing Easter weekend at Hartleys Huts. Very calm, literally in the middle of nowhere. Loved the hot tub and the views! We had everything we needed. Would definitely come again, but probably not in the summer as the hut gets very warm in the sun! :)

The location was lovely very private and surrounded by woodland. Constant sound of birds during day and very quiet and peaceful at night. We sat with fire pit lit and outer lights on house on looking at the stars. Small and cosy inside and lots of lovely wee gifts left for us. Nice walk to nearby Pickering with dogs either beside river or woods and steam train line Loads to do in area with Dalby forrest on doorstep and Pickering Thornton le Dale and Malton all lovely places to visit. A great time away and excellent holiday home.
