Absolutely wonderful place to stay! My wife and I felt it was the perfect weekend getaway, and Carol showed great hospitality/communication. The place smelled as clean as it looked, and it was very well stocked. Couldn't have asked for a better time!

The space was exactly as described and Diane was super responsive and helpful. The kids loved the hot tub, there were tons of unexpected amenities (waffle maker! Cupcake liners!) which made for more breakfast and snack options. Be sure to plan for renting a car - while there is a nice restaurant next door, you’ll need it to get around. I would recommend planning a stop to the carnivorous plant garden while you’re in town!

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

My family loves this beach house. We’ve visited twice and absolutely plan to come back. The kitchen has plenty of basic supplies so you don’t have to buy every single thing you need (salt, pepper, spices, oil). The location is perfect! The amenities are perfect! There are activities for kids and kids-at-heart to enjoy.

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

This was my first time staying somewhere through Airbnb and it was such a good experience! Home was clean, on theme, and so spacious. The covered porches and hot tub make it that much better - 5 stars all around!

Anytime we have to work and travel through wilimington Jeff's place is one of me and my hubby's favorite homes. it's always so comfy, clean and cozy ☁️🤍 perfect definition of our home away from home.

This home exceeded our expectations! The location of this home was just beautiful. The home itself was very roomy yet cozy for 2 families with 3 children to enjoy. It was also super clean. This Airbnb had the best equipped kitchen i’ve ever seen in a rental with plenty of good quality pots, pans, dishes bowls, various glassware for cocktails, and grilling tools. Even plenty of plastic dishes for kids, ziplock bags and plastic wrap! No detail was forgotten. There are plenty of areas to enjoy meals or just hang out inside the house , out on the deck or on the patio. I also wanted to mention there were plenty of towels, extra pillows and bedding for all 7 of us. I didn’t have any issues but reached out to Matthew to let him know we were very pleased with his home and he responded right away. Matthew’s home provided us with the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful family vacation in Emerald Isle and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

The perfect stay - AGAIN! ** This is our second time staying at this airbnb and both times it has been wonderful! The home is immaculate and instantly comfortable and cozy. The homeowner's clearly have a great sense of humor in their instructions and notes and it always brings some cheerfulness to the stay. :) Perfectly located with super easy access to Wrightsville, DT, mid-town, out of town, basically everywhere! The fenced in yard is perfect for our pup and the covered patio is always a favorite to just relax and enjoy one our favorites from Wilmington Brewing. This will always be the first place I check for availability when back visiting in town and I would absolutely recommend it to others!

We had a wonderful stay over Spring Break. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach, which was never crowded. My husband and son fished off of the floating dock and caught a spot fish, several blue fish, and a flounder. We also were able to catch some crabs in the crab trap. We left the trap there for future visitors to enjoy. The weather was perfect. There are restaurants, ice cream, and a small market 2-3 minutes from the house or you can drive a little further to Surf City for more choices. Cheryl was responsive and proactive. We will definitely be back!

Roomy, new, clean, well stocked, easy access to grocery and restaurants and walkable to downtown Swansboro. Nice neighborhood.

The place and stay were fantastic. The kitchen had everything that we needed, which is what I was worried about. Would stay here again 100%!

We enjoyed staying here for the week of Thanksgiving with our family and dogs. We were close to family and conveniently located to restaurants and grocery stores. Letting the dogs out back to the fenced yard was a breeze. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location for restaurants and all that is happening in historic Wilmington. Patio was quiet and made for a relaxing morning sitting with our coffee. Dog loved the yard and we appreciated that it was fenced. The house is decorated in a very nice, comfortable manner and all the kitchen equipment was new. Loved the record player and records. Added to the fun of our stay. Great place. Highly recommended!

This was a perfect place, located away from touristy area but close enough to enjoy all that Swansboro and area had to offer. Very clean, we needed nothing~ all was provided! Thanks for allowing us to bring our two small dogs!

Julie’s place is amazing. I came to spend Spring break with my 5 year old and the house had everything we needed. It was easy access to get Downtown , Mayfair area and Wrightsville Beach. We will defiantly be coming back and staying at Julie’s.

We loved everything about his place. My grandkids loved the dock because they could fish right in the backyard and we could see them from the back decks. We saw dolphins a few morning and even saw a stingray from the dock. Frederick was an awesome host. We would love to come back early spring or fall so they could catch some fish. Thank you we made some great memories! Beautiful and so peaceful!

Amazing host, amazing cottage! Everything was as advertised and if anything the place is bigger than it looks in the pictures, loved the tall ceilings, and the private patio was perfect!

I cannot recommend this place enough! the reason we chose this spot was the dock and yard for kids to play. there are plenty of beach front properties to choose from in the area but this place is special. a home away from home. the options for outside relaxing were amazing and truly offered spaces for fun and fostering connection with each other. we played wifle ball, flew kites, and took out the kayaks for an adventure of a life time exploring the near by islands and shallow water ways across the bay. every day was full of adventure, shell treasures, and ended with porch sitting and corn hole. our hearts were full and truly sad to leave. I'm already planning our next visit.

An absolutely fantastic stay!! Less than a minute walk to the beach and about 6 minute walk to Surf City! The home itself was quite large, had everything we needed, and had two great sitting areas. We will definitely be back!

My husband booked this lovely little cottage for the two of us for a quick little getaway. It is conveniently close enough to everything you need (10 minutes away from anything and everything) yet secluded enough to feel like you're away from all distractions. The perfect little home away from home. Ian and Kristi put so much though and effort into this place. Wonderfully clean, perfectly decorated and stocked with all the essentials and more. So much attention to detail, even the blankets in a basket for those who get chilly at night while others need the air on frigid. :) We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and the little shaded back patio during the day. Such a beautiful Airbnb for the much needed R&R! We would highly recommend the New Coastal Cottage if you're looking for a stay close to the coast. Incredible hosts with great communication before, during, and after our stay. 10 out of 10! We look forward to staying again sometime in the future Don't let this one pass you by!
