Great spot right on the beach! Perfect for a long weekend and accommodation for a wedding near by!

a wonderful studio flat, exactly how it looks in the photos. Most of one wall is a window looking across the lawn to the beach, sea and Holy Island. There are many eateries close. The Old Pier has fabulous soup, quiche and sausage rolls.

We were very pleased with our accommodation. Lots of room for the 6 of us and 2 bathrooms with showers is great for a group our size. A real bonus to have free laundry facilities available during our visit to Scotland. Our host was very responsive to our needs and gave great local recommendations.

We had the best time on the Isle of Arran and Kate’s school house was the absolute perfect base. I brought my partner, my parents and our dog and we found everything we could have possibly needed. The beds were so comfy and we were spoiled with the weather. I couldn’t recommend Kate’s place more, and I hope we get to come back again soon!

A spacious period family home, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. The highlight is the conservatory, giving a panoramic view of Lamlash Bay. We enjoyed sitting in comfortable surroundings watching seals on the shore. Only 15 minutes stroll to the peer and local amenities, including the Co-Op. And just 10 minutes drive from the ferry terminal while also located in a quiet spot. We love Arran and highly recommended this property!

This is an absolutely stunning home. We had a great short stay in an immaculate home in beautiful surroundings. The house was close to Largs, Glasgow, and great for other locations. Catherine was fantastic. Really friendly and great communications without. Went as far as leaving bread, milk and produce which was really really welcome. A massive thank you.

fantastic home in a beautiful part of Scotland. This home suited our family gathering perfectly. plenty of space for us all with great dining and socialising spaces. 2 unexpected small hiccups were dealt with rapidly and solved with no stress which we can't thank the host and her neighbour enough for. we look forward to staying again.

Second stay at Liz’s place. We were happy with it on the first stay but the second proved we were right to go back. Everything you need for a home from home. Ideal location. Close to town and beach. Everything in the house is quality. Very comfortable all round. Facilities are easy to use. Good restaurants and bars very close, also not far from the train station. We were in Glasgow within the hour. We had a lovely break this time as well. Look forward to the next time.

Fantastic location, great views, everything you need is available on the doorstep. Having a car is ideal for the island but it’s completely not required especially with Helen’s instructions on how to use the public transport. Would highly recommend and I will be recommending to anyone who will listen. Thanks!

Our recent 2 night stay was exactly what we were looking for - total relaxation. The pod was spotless and well appointed in relation to crockery, utensils and cleaning products. The whole outside area was just perfect and completely private. The privacy screens on the pergola were very handy as it was really windy and we were able to pull them down to stop all the leaves getting in the tub. Loved the list of recommendations for places to eat - we opted for the Royal Bar, and it didn’t disappoint. Communication from Bruce from start to finish was excellent. Would definitely recommend this for a totally relaxing time. Loved every minute of it. Thanks guys

I would highly recommend staying here, it’s so peaceful and there’s an enclosed hot tub which adds extra privacy. Host was superb and came out to greet us (was so friendly and had a box of homemade brownies)

We had a lovely few days at the lodge. It’s in beautiful surroundings and with amazing views and walks nearby. Katherine was an amazing host- offering us advice and help at all times. The lodge was cosy with a lovely log burner and campfire. We used the nearby portavadie swimming facilities including outside pool which was out of this world. A beautiful part of the world I would definitely recommend!

The pod was lovely, peaceful area and private enough even though we were in the middle pod out of the 3. The “nest” looked like the most private pod however if that’s what you’re looking for as it was in the corner but as I say the “den” was lovely too. The hot tub was secluded enough with a canopy and the sauna only a short distance. You just need to pay £10 if you use the logs etc for the fire to start it. We had two adults 3 children between the ages of 10-15 and our well behaved retriever. We went for some peace and tranquility and that’s what we got, it was lovely. Nice day out at Irvine beach was had too :) Thankyou

Had the most wonderful week with my family at The Wee Hoose. Everything we needed, plus the extra touch of biscuits & even goose eggs! The washing machine was out of action, but we were welcome to use the hosts. Stunning views & sunsets. So peaceful & tranquil. Plenty of outside space including seating, table, BBQ & firepit. Made good use of the deck chairs as the weather was stunning. Comfortable & spacious inside with log burner, powerful shower & reliable WiFi. All utensils we could need in the kitchen & table to eat as a family. Great base to head out & discover some of Scotlands beautiful points of interest. Lots of shops available within short drive. Thanks Louise, Family & Friends for making us feel so welcome.
