Vi var ikke klar over at hytta var på en campingplass, og trodde vi hadde kjørt feil når GPSen førte oss dit. Men Bianca kom ut og viste oss riktig hytte, selv om vi ankom sent på kvelden. Hun var veldig hyggelig. Det var en av de største hyttene der. Romslig, med god plass. Hytta luktet som gammel røyk, og innredningen var gammeldags. Men den fungerte fint. Greit å være klar over at det ikke er dører mellom soverom, kjøkken og stue.

Veldig koselig sted med trivelige husverter. Det var lett å finne fram og vi ble møtt ved innkjørselen. Vakre omgivelser og nær sjøen. Kommer gjerne tilbake en annen gang😊

Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit bei Christian! Er war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, immer gut erreichbar und hat uns mit vielen nützlichen Tipps versorgt. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für alle, die das Glamping-Erlebnis lieben – eine tolle Mischung aus Natur und Komfort. Besonders der Sauna- und Whirlpoolbereich war ein Highlight, das selbst beheizt werden muss, was richtig viel Spaß gemacht hat. Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines bisschen kleiner als auf den Fotos, aber trotzdem sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: In der Nähe gibt es ein charmantes Skigebiet, und wir konnten kostenlos Schneeschuhe ausleihen – das war fantastisch! Vielen Dank, Christian, für die schöne Zeit und den tollen Aufenthalt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Arne’s place gave us one of the most valuable Airbnb experiences. To give you some hints, I have had sail boats, I like camping with my tent and I am used to limited resources. If you are looking for a Nordic experience in the heart of a snowy forest right next to a frozen river, that’s your place. It’s not one of those luxury, spacious rooms, but we were lucky to extend our space to one of the houses that Arne owns right next to the hut. This way, we could cook and eat easily. The hut was a cosy nest for us to rest and enjoy the forest. Arne is very helpful and responsive. He even had our car started before we left so that it heated up the inside. I didn’t know that could be done (I am an Aegean person). He let us use any resource when needed. Totally enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone. Thank you, Arne!

Die Hütte finden wir sogar noch gemütlicher als es auf den Fotos rüberkommt. Es ist alles blitzsauber. Joachim, der Gastgeber, macht eine unkomplizierte und kurze Einweisung und ist stets erreichbar und bemüht, einem den Aufenthalt in seinem zu Hause und der Umgebung so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Wir sind Wander-Neulinge und trotzdem konnte er uns schnell ein paar Ecken nennen, die wir allein gut bewältigen konnten. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und kommen sehr gern wieder.

The location is great and very unique, we stayed for two nights. Although from the outside it may make you question your decision, push through it. Staying inside a cave with modern amenities, including a sauna, is a cool experience. The host is friendly and welcoming, but communication can be slow. Be patient, as the wait is well worth it. Once you establish contact, the host provides you with his phone number and is much more responsive over text than through the app. The cave does not receive cell phone service, but Bengt mentioned that he is working on getting internet to the unit in the coming month. Regardless, it was a nice disconnect from technology and allowed us to enjoy some quality time. The space has everything you need, and all stores are close and drivable. Car parking is available right next to the main gate, and there are multiple doors and gates to get in and out, so you feel very safe. Overall, it was a unique and fun experience, and we will definitely come back.
