Exactly what we were looking for - peaceful and out of the way, but close enough to towns and hiking trails that it didn't feel like a burden to drive to wherever we needed to go. Michelle was a great host, responsive to any questions, and checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciated the little touches in the house, like toiletries we may have forgotten in the bathroom and condiments in the fridge. The house itself was well-maintained and well-stocked with everything we needed for the week, especially considering that we planned on eating in for most meals. We would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for some place quiet but convenient to Mammoth Cave National Park.

Our stay at the Belk House was great! Lessa was a wonderful host, very nice and responsive. The house was clean and looked just like the pictures. Close to nice restaurants and stores, and 30 minute drive to Mammoth Cave and Corvette museum. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next time!

The weather did not cooperate for our stay but we still enjoyed our siblings and parents weekend. We stayed in quite a bit to play games and visit which was wonderful. There was plenty of room for us to be comfortable. The house was absolutely lovely! Prayers for the community and those affected by the floods.

The home was beautiful and cozy. The hosts were helpful, kind, responsive, and accommodating. Couldn’t say nicer things about the hosts and home! A perfect weekend away to enjoy Mammoth Caves while having a cozy home that felt like our own. Everything you could want/need was provided! Would ABSOLUTELY recommend to family and friends!

This place made our family feel right at home. Great vibes! We received cookies and cookies after upon arrival. So sweet! She gave us great recommendations for their local distilleries, winery, and reminded me to book tickets to mammoth NP. The home was super clean and spacious. Our kids loved it. We enjoyed our stay. Fantastic place on the lake! Our group of six fit comfortably and had a great time! Stephanie and Kathleen’s place had ALL the amenities you could ask for and then some. With a fully stocked kitchen so we were able to make most meals at home.

The communication was easy and timely. We arrived at night with no issues and were very surprised to wake up in the morning and look out the window to giant yards and beautiful fall trees! The amenities were wonderful and the snacks were delicious. The space is very cozy and well taken care of, loved it!

If I could leave more than 5 stars for extra credit, I would. It was an incredibly peaceful stay. The horses were serene. The dogs were so so friendly. My 10 year old LOVED the tree house and the creek. (She wants a creek in our yard now. lol) The space was exactly as described, looks just like the photos. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had any dishes, pots, pans, containers, foil, etc. you could possibly want to use. And so CLEAN! And Tracy and her family are the most lovely people. I enjoyed getting to know them. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

The place was so nice I love how spacious it was I love the decor I love that it made me feel it home had no problems getting in the door accessible to other places of surrounding the facility I didn't have to worry about no one bothering me or interrupting me or disturbing me My overall review best 10 out of 10 I would definitely book with him again if I'm ever in bowling Green Kentucky I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay I didn't have no problem with payment I didn't have no problem with it being nasty or dirty check out with easy just as well as check in thank you for allowing me to book that place for my stay there

This is the bottom basement apartment. I unfortunately did not read the post description very well in our hurry, so I was confused when we arrived. lol no fault on the host tho. Very clean, spacious, and relaxing back yard. Huge kitchen also. Host is very kind and responsive. I would suggest to check that the door separating the top and bottom floor is locked when you arrive. We had an incident with the door not being locked and our pup let himself through to the other guests accommodations. Other than that the neighborhood is super peaceful and quiet. Lots of space for kids and fur kids to play outside. Continent to E-town, radcliff, for Knox and Louisville. Favorite part of the house is the adjustable bed 😍

We enjoyed our stay here with the grandkids very close to all the caverns we visited. Mammoth onyx cave and safari park across the street worth the visit. We visited mammoth cave national Park and hidden River caves within 10 minutes of BNB. Hidden River was by by far the best caverns to visit we had a fun stay with the grandkids! Kyla answered every call with a few questions I had.

A very cozy cabin with a slice of appalachia near the caves next to the lake! I would definitely recommend and looking forward to revisiting next time! Only thing that bummed me out was having to go home. Great host with excellent communication!

We have stayed here multiple times and plan on coming back soon. I love the peaceful outside surroundings. The deck and fire pit are my favorites but we explored the wooded area for the first time this visit and it was beautiful! We were there during severe weather and Lee Ann even offered to let us come to their basement if we were worried. I cooked several meals in the cabin and had everything I needed. She even had a coffee grinder for our coffee beans…but if you prefer pre-ground coffee or keurig, she has that too! Seriously love that this place is only 45 minutes from home but is such a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Louisville. Thanks again, Lee Ann! We will see ya soon!

If you’re looking at the tiny cabin and thinking maybe…just book it! It is every bit as adorable as the photos and the location is secluded but not terribly far from town. We loved our time there! The hosts really thought of everything from amenities like coffee to lovely decor to create the coziest space! We loved the hot tub after a day at Mammoth Cave.

Great cabin, with such peaceful views/area! The cabin itself had plenty to do between all the games, pool and ping pong, which was exactly what we had in mind to stay put in order to hang out all together!! Everything was so well organized with great instructions. The kitchen and baths were well stocked which made it so easy to function as if you were in your own home!! Amanda was great and so responsive! What a hidden jewel!!

We've stayed at a lot of cabins for fall and spring breaks with our kids & this is one of our absolute favorites! Everything was clean & comfortable, the hot tub is fantastic, and the layout of the house worked well for our family (kids in the basement, mom + dad in the upstairs master). There's an incredible amount of deck space (three levels!), and having coffee outside each morning was a highlight for me. The 18-hole disc golf course is a unique feature! My 7-year-old is just getting into disc golf, and we liked that we could just take him out to play a couple of holes at a time after spending the day doing other activities. A couple of things to know: (1) Grocery stores are few & far between in the area, so plan to bring most of what you need with you or to eat at local restaurants while you're out and about, (2) If you're visiting Mammoth Cave, look up information about the Green River Ferry -- not only is it a fun experience but it will save you a ton of driving time.

Book this NOW! If you are a solo traveler, traveling with a dog or bringing the whole family this is the place to stay! Mammoth Cave National Park is very close but honestly you don't even need to leave the property. The hiking trail and waterfall/cave onsite was more impressive than Mammoth. The lake is stunning and everything about the property is very well maintained. The cabin was fantastic, great mattresses and a real shower head! Check out the guidebook link before you come! Especially the part about the GPS running you in circles in the park, you will have no service at the park and the ferry was closed due to high water. I referenced the guidebook Dagmar created throughout the stay. Loved the Cee Bee for groceries and Webb's for burgers & ice cream in Brownsville The cabins are close enough that a solo traveler has safety but far enough to have plenty of privacy and quiet. Would recommend coming during daylight hours for arrival to get a lay of the land but after that it's easy
