Our stay could not have been better. Was the perfect place to stay to run the Newport marathon and we really enjoyed the cozy feel of the place. Everything was so clean and the yard was a great bonus in nice spring weather. Could not have asked for a better or more thoughtful host!

Great place to stay! Place was exactly what was described, extremely clean, and Missy was a great host with pre-arrival communication. I will definitely be back!

From the minute we pulled into the driveway, our family was highly impressed with the views from Kristen's home. We ended our 2023 summer with a bang. This beautiful home had everything you could ever need on vacation. We enjoyed the backyard with nightly fires. Our teen daughter rarely left the bunk house. We loved the fact that our own private beach was just a few steps away & the public beach was less than ten minutes away. The kids and adults enjoyed the beach trampoline. Kristen was delightful to deal with. She was a SUPER host. So many little details and extras she puts into her beach home. Already thinking of our next visit.

Very well equipped house, amazing backyard with pool and hot tub, definitely the highlight of the house. The washer wasn't working but Stephen was a great host, very communicative and offered to get our clothes washed if needed (we didn't need it). Would definitely recommend!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Sheila’s cottage. It’s always a pleasant experience. Sheila is very responsive, and I’m highly satisfied with the cottage. It’s exactly as described, and everything worked flawlessly. I could not recommend this more highly.

It was so peaceful and serene. The view was spectacular. It was great to be one with nature and wildlife. I truly enjoyed the stillness of the water without a lot of noise to sully the moment.. I got a lot of work done & enjoyed myself as well. I definitely would recommend this place if you want peace of mind, mixed in with a good beach experience.

Our stay was nearly two weeks but flew by. The cottage was comfortable and we felt right at home. Loved all of the natural light and for a cozy space it felt much more spacious. We especially enjoyed the kitchen (lots of counter space), grill even in the snow, and wood burning stove. Overall a tastefully decorated, comfortable space. Johnna was a fantastic host. She was super friendly and responses were prompt. Pups approved too, particularly that comfy dog bed. We hope to return again!

Essays have never been a strong skill of mine, so please excuse my bluntness. Prudence Island is not for everyone. It is however for me and my family. We came to ride bikes, fish, walk around, and just relax. It was only for a few days, and we have 4 kids, so relaxing was a bit tricky. Thats on us. However, as far as Taiji's cottage is concerned, it catered to what we were looking for. With quick access from the Ferry, to the beach, or even indoor entertainment (we arrived just before a storm). He and his team had provided everything we could need, and then some. (Thank you for having a pack and play for our baby.) While I'm hopeful to own a place on Prudence (someday...) I would certainly like to stay here again, and would highly recommend Taiji's place to any interested individual or family. Thanks again, -Patrick Cassidy, 3rd generation islander

My husband and I stayed in this lovely cottage for 4 days while visiting for a wedding. I myself LOVED the quint and cozy comforts of the cottage. It was private, quiet, and really just lovely for a little weekend (I could even do a week) get away. My husband, however, did not enjoy the stay as much as I did. He felt the value for the cottage was overpriced some. My sister and her wife were set to sleep on the pull out couch (this was a back up plan) and opted not too b/c they felt the space was humid and the pull out did not appeal to their comfort. BUT I could seriously live here! If was charming and lovely. It took me right into the environment of the region and made me feel like a local. The kitchen had everything you needed. The fridge is smaller, but local restaurants and groceries make it easy to buy food every other day or so. While my husband and family may give it more a 7/10; Personally, I give it a 10/10!

The cottage was clean and comfortable and the location/neighborhood was terrific. Air conditioning would have been great to deal with the dampness at times but the fans kept the place comfortable enough. We will return next vacation! Loved the area as well and the guide book that Norm provided was a great help/addition.

Fly Fishers Cottage was the perfect choice for my visit home for the holidays. The cottage is exactly as described, spotless, super cozy, and it was even decorated for Christmas! It was the exact amount of space I needed and felt like a home away from home. It is ideally located to get to Jamestown and Newport, as well as to other parts of RI and MA where I was visiting family. Clare is a wonderful host, very responsive, and flexible with check in/out which I hugely appreciated. She also made sure outside was cleared and gritted after some snow - it seems like a small thing, but made me feel welcome and taken care of. I really hope to stay at the cottage again on my upcoming summer visit - thank you Clare!

We had a great weekend and the place was perfect for what we needed. Great outdoor space on the water where we could sit outside and enjoy the weather. Friendly neighbors and great to cook in with all the supplies we needed! Would love to visit again in warmer weather.

My first time in Newport and can’t imagine a better place to stay. As others have mentioned, the place is super cute, cozy, and has everything you could possibly need. I did not have a car and walked to most places, including cliff-walk, restaurants, coffee shop, Thames street and a lovely theater that’s just under a mile away. Donna was super nice, always quick to respond, and gave multiple recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Thank you again Donna for a wonderful stay! Hope to visit again soon.

Nathan’s place was beautiful, private, and very cozy. My wife and I had a great weekend, which was very peaceful.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend to visit family in the area. Location was great, we enjoyed walking to The Coffee Guys coffee shop in the morning; other shops and restaurants also within walking distance. House was clean and comfortable, perfect for our stay. We had 2 family members working remotely one day during our stay, and there was space for everyone, including quiet workspace. I had a couple questions for host prior to stay which she answered promptly, no reason to contact her during our stay. Location is convenient to Narragansett beaches, shops and restaurants. Also convenient to getting to Newport, and other towns to visit family. This would be a great place to stay in the summer for a beach vacation- outdoor space includes a nice deck and backyard which would be great in warmer weather! We would definitely consider staying here again!

Really enjoyed this place able to exactly like the pictures perfect size for two couples. We enjoyed the seafood festival and going to visit the mansions in Newport would definitely recommend staying here. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

Absolutely charming historic home, beautifully restored and stylishly appointed. Nellie thought of everything to make for a luxurious getaway. The house is as adorable as it appears in the photos—from the beautiful tiled bathroom with vintage tub to a sweet nook for coffees and teas. Calming ocean views from the bedroom and very comfortable sleep. Nellie was the perfect host and anticipated every need, including some great local restaurants. Could not recommend more highly! Thank you Nellie for a wonderful stay!

Great place- everything we needed for ourselves, our daughter and SiL for 3 night stay- son's surprise 40th. Well equipped, comfortable, quiet. Colee super helpful/ great communication- she recommended Divine restaurant. Killer !

We loved staying at Ashley and Francois’ adorable cottage! It provided the perfect amount of coziness for a day of relaxation. I want to emphasize on how unique and fun their decor is and my favorite area, the kitchen. Will definitely book another stay in the future!

stayed here with my wife, our 18month old, and our friend. this was good spot for 2 nights to explore the Providence area. definitely it is a little different being on the backside of a barber shop, next to a bunch of derelict vehicles, but the inside of the accommodation is exactly like the pictures and was satisfactory. the accommodation includes all of the basics that I would expect in an airbnb. outside noise level was expected being on a main road during the evening, but dissipated after 8 or 9pm. overall, was happy with our stay and would stay again.
