Kate and Callum were fantastic hosts who went well beyond their obligations to make us feel at home and welcome. They were super friendly and responded to all our needs immediately. The house was fantastic, in fact as good as any other accommodation we have had in NZ. This property comes with our highest recommendation.

We absolutely loved the late-century family home right at the beach front. It was extremely peaceful and although the beach wasn’t safe for swimming it wasn’t too far to get to Waipatiki or the Napier town beaches. The views are absolutely stunning - day and night! The home is very specious and flooded with sunlight. Highly recommend to experience it yourself 🤗

A super lovely place in a nice, quiet neighbourhood just minutes away from the main street of Waipu! The whole house was extremely well put together and cozy. Janice and Brian were very pleasant and sociable which greatly contributed to the hospitable and cozy feeling of my stay. I would have loved to stay longer. I definitely will always remember my stay here!

Briony was a very welcoming host, she left us fresh eggs, juice, bread and milk. Her partner (apologies I have forgotten his name) provided tools to tighten up the wing mirror on my bike. The property is loverly and really conveniently placed if you are planning on visiting the Hobbiton movie set.

We had an amazing time during our stay! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect escape. It’s truly a fantastic spot for larger groups looking to create unforgettable memories together.

Would definitely recommend Stephanie’s Airbnb. The house was so clean, warm and comfortable. We felt right at home. Stephanie was very helpful and replied to any message very quickly. There were also some lovely extra touches. Would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel's beautiful home in sunny Te Awanga, the whole family enjoyed time together relaxing by the pool, playing, laughing and enjoying each others company. We read through the vast collection of books on the coffee table and played cards and board games at night. The house is spacious with lots of lovely seating areas to relax. Annabel is a wonderful host, she was helpful, friendly and responded to all of our queries immediately. The house has a great layout with amazing indoor/outdoor flow, the pool was a big hit with the family. The stunning art collection on the walls will delight your eyes. The bedrooms are comfortable and dreamy to relax away summer afternoons. Herbs in the garden, lemons on the tree and fresh flowers in the house to greet us were lovely touches. The location is great with the beach just across the road and pizza under the shade of trees at Te Awanga vineyard only a hop skip and a jump from the house. Thank you Annabel, we had the just the kind of holiday we were looking for. We have all come home refreshed and rejuvenated.

Pour ma 3eme nuit j’ai changé de chambre : pour celle-ci toujours très agréable avec une très grande salle de bain partagée avec une autre chambre : la chambre donnait également sur le superbe jardin, toujours le petit salon avec bouilloire, micro-ondes, petit frigo, café et thé à disposition.. Peu importe la chambre que vous choisirez, elles sont toutes parfaites.. 👍

Antonia's place was great - a cool inner-city apartment, close to the city and great restaurants. Parking (though paid) was easy and available. We were left some breakfast items which were a thoughtful touch. Beds were comfy. Very happy overall!

What a great place to stay with a nice view of the sea. We were greeted by Marina’s husband and her place has a lot of space - would be great for a couple with two children. Everything was so clean and the layout was terrific. Marina was also very responsive. We loved staying there and would highly recommend it. She deserves to be a super host!

We had such memorable stay at Mary’s. Easy to find and so close to the lake. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable if felt like home. Mary gave us some great tips for local attractions and left us extra special treats just to make us feel welcome! Could not recommend highly enough.

I immediately felt like Neville could be my brother. Loved all the extras in our refrigerator that made our late arrival more relaxed and our first morning an easy relaxed day. Personal recommendations for the hikes we took were spot on. Taking advantage of Neville's friendly nature allowed me to watch him roast the coffee we were drinking and though I have worked as a Barista and know a lot about coffee, I learned a lot and had one of the best I have ever tasted. So nice to spread out in a clean, open, comfortable space.

Absolutely beautiful place: well designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a stunning view over Wellington harbor. The funicular access adds a bit of magic to the experience. Lovely, simple breakfast left for us. The location is perfect—a short walk from Wellington’s central business district. Loved our stay here.

My partner and I loved staying here in beautiful Tairua! We just wished we could stayed longer. Julia made us feel right at home and we loved the special touches such as breakfast and snacks. We hope to be back again!

In very Good location, next to the beach, have a beautiful view. Very clean and tidy place, have different kitchen supplies. Easy to check in. Really nice host.

Great location! Rich was very communicative and his dad, Paul was very friendly and helpful as well. Paul showed me where to take the public lift which led to the cable car and the nearest bus stop and guided me where different things were on a map he provided. He also provided me with a card that I was able to use for the bus and train which was very helpful.

She was so accommodating. Both very, very kind people. Peaceful place and the most beautiful gardens. And she had everything you could possibly ask for breakfast! I feel like they should charge more money. The bedroom also had its own little hang out spot with its own mini fridge as well!

We absolutely LOVED our stay!! From the moment we booked until the time we left Ken and Maureen were Greta host!! We loved the little cuppa tea set up!! The views were amazing and a nice short walk to the beach 11/10 from me.

Linda’s place was the perfect quiet resting place while I was in town for a friend’s wedding. The cabin had plenty of space for me, was clean, and I had a peaceful afternoon getting work done while sitting out in the porch. Would 100% book again if I were back in town. Thanks Linda!

Val was very welcoming and even picked me up from the airport and baked fresh bread for breakfast 😊 room was very cosy and clean with private bathroom. Perfect for my stay before setting off on the Heaphy and easy pickup from The Sands the next morning.

My friend’s and I stayed at Chris’ Airbnb for the weekend, and we had such a great time! Chris and her husband were warm and welcoming – they even surprised us with freshly baked muffins and rocky road, which was such a sweet touch. The place was spotless and cozy, and we loved relaxing in the spa in the evening. The location was super convenient too, with shops just a few minutes away. We really appreciated the balance of feeling right at home while still having our privacy. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would 100% choose to stay here again if we’re back in the area. Highly recommend!

Nathan and Liz were very friendly and accommodating. They both offered local advice and suggestions. The unit was clean, comfortable, and everything was as advertised. Having access to the kitchen/refrigerator was very helpful for us. Their place is just a brief walk from beautiful Lake Te Anau and there are several good dining options nearby. Te Anau is a great location from which to visit Milford Sound and explore the many awesome hikes in the area. We especially enjoyed the tour at the Te Anau Bird Sanctuary. The ranger was very personable and informative. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
