This was a great stay for a weekend away to celebrate my birthday with my husband. It was very quiet & peaceful, and the view was beautiful. We wish we could have spent more time outside to enjoy it, but it was just a bit too chilly. We did have an opportunity to sit by the fire pit and watch the swans! We found some good restaurants not too far away and overall we were very happy with everything. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome!

We had a wonderful weekend get away. Cape Charles and The house were perfect.

We got a combined two floor apartment (end unit so it was very private) with plenty of space for each of my friends to have their own beds. The back porch and patio were very private and had a beautiful view of the backyard. I would highly recommend this listing!

Maria was very communicative and hospitable before and during our stay for anything we had questions about. The house was charming and was the perfect cozy stay during our March weekend at cape Charles! The beds are very comfy! Wish we stayed longer to enjoy more!

Fantastic location! The place is sparkling clean & great for a family stay! Fully equipped with everything you need! Walkable distance to the beach and the best of it all is the golf cart rental offered! So worth it! Very close to shops & restaurants! There’s a beautiful park right by the property for the parents to enjoy a walk and kids to enjoy their time after a beach day or for early mornings walks!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Cristy's home! Everything was updated, super clean, so roomy and so comfortable. The kitchen is so huge and where we tend to hang out as a family so it was great. Bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. And the bathrooms were updated and had these lovely nightlights. I always bring my own but didn't need them because of this thoughtful touch. And the cats Fred, Betty and Barney were adorable and so easy to care for with just a little food, water and love. The location was great for our trips to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. It was close enough to get there quickly, but far enough away that we didn't feel like we were in a tourist trap but in a real neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at Summer Camp! The location was great and very walkable. The place was exactly as described, and a nice size for two people. The shower was a bit small, but we knew this going in. There was a little hiccup on check-in, but Katie went above and beyond to accommodate us which was really nice. She made sure to communicate with us the whole time. Overall, this was a great little cottage and would definitely recommend.

Very good spot for a small family trip to Tangier (I came alone, so it was more than enough.) The house is spotless, and Travis has some extras there for his guests (coffee, water, fishing rods, board games for young kids on a rainy day.) Travis also sent me the phone number for an evening ferry off the island, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay at Travis' place, and would stay here again. I hope to soon.

Adorable house—has all the charm of an older home along with modern kitchen/bathrooms. Great location—easy walk to the beach/shops—and easy parking. Lovely backyard patio. We would definitely stay here again!
