Absolutely wonderful place to stay! My wife and I felt it was the perfect weekend getaway, and Carol showed great hospitality/communication. The place smelled as clean as it looked, and it was very well stocked. Couldn't have asked for a better time!

There is only 1000 character limit, so I will try my best to wrap this review up. If I could give this place a million stars I absolutely would! The location was absolutely amazing, being able to walk to the beach in less than a minute alone gives this place 5 stars. The host was incredible and responded to our questions in a minute or less! The beds were fantastic, the water was nice and hot! The kitchen was incredible! I absolutely loved how the entire bottom was fenced in, our dogs got to run around have freedom! Everything we could possible need was already provided( I had brought a few things for the kitchen to use and turns out I didn’t even have too) the house was very clean, board games were provided also! I would strongly recommend this to any of my friends/family and we will definitely be coming back to stay here. If you’re considering an air bnb right on the beach, look NO FURTHER, this place is it!! Top tier! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

My family loves this beach house. We’ve visited twice and absolutely plan to come back. The kitchen has plenty of basic supplies so you don’t have to buy every single thing you need (salt, pepper, spices, oil). The location is perfect! The amenities are perfect! There are activities for kids and kids-at-heart to enjoy.

This was my first time staying somewhere through Airbnb and it was such a good experience! Home was clean, on theme, and so spacious. The covered porches and hot tub make it that much better - 5 stars all around!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Zach's Place. He was very helpful and accommodating to all our questions. We felt right at home!

This place is really fit for purpose. I take a group of guys there every year. We eat we sleep we fish we repeat.

This home exceeded our expectations! The location of this home was just beautiful. The home itself was very roomy yet cozy for 2 families with 3 children to enjoy. It was also super clean. This Airbnb had the best equipped kitchen i’ve ever seen in a rental with plenty of good quality pots, pans, dishes bowls, various glassware for cocktails, and grilling tools. Even plenty of plastic dishes for kids, ziplock bags and plastic wrap! No detail was forgotten. There are plenty of areas to enjoy meals or just hang out inside the house , out on the deck or on the patio. I also wanted to mention there were plenty of towels, extra pillows and bedding for all 7 of us. I didn’t have any issues but reached out to Matthew to let him know we were very pleased with his home and he responded right away. Matthew’s home provided us with the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful family vacation in Emerald Isle and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay over Spring Break. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach, which was never crowded. My husband and son fished off of the floating dock and caught a spot fish, several blue fish, and a flounder. We also were able to catch some crabs in the crab trap. We left the trap there for future visitors to enjoy. The weather was perfect. There are restaurants, ice cream, and a small market 2-3 minutes from the house or you can drive a little further to Surf City for more choices. Cheryl was responsive and proactive. We will definitely be back!

Hilda was very helpful and responsive. Her home was perfect for our family vacation, we loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the views. The beach access is a short walk across the street. The home was very comfortable to stay in, a nice quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and grocery stores are only about 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Hilda!

Jill’s place was a great place for my boys and I to stay for a week at the beach! The location was perfect. The cozy little cottage was clean and organized with everything you may need for a stay away from home. Jill was very responsive and helpful when I had questions. I highly recommend her place for your stay.

Great location. The home is clean, well maintained, and nice appliances including a nice coffee pot. Everything is well stocked - plenty of trash bags, soap, toilet paper, detergent etc. Information and instructions were posted in convenient locations.

This was our second time staying at Diane’s beach cottage and it didn’t disappoint! We absolutely loved staying there! It was the cutest place with so much to do nearby. It was such a great, relaxing place and it had everything that we might need. Diane was so friendly and very responsive to any questions that I had. The house was perfect, very clean. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

I recently had the absolute joy of staying at this cozy coastal gem of a beach house—and what a dream it was! The house itself is the perfect blend of charm and comfort—think beachy elegance with a dash of homey magic. It offered everything we could have hoped for and more. The decor was a soft symphony of sea-inspired hues and thoughtful touches, instantly setting the tone for relaxation. We adored the open living space, inviting bedrooms, and the kitchen that had everything—ideal for lazy breakfasts or seaside-inspired dinners. One of the highlights was the beautiful outdoor space. The patio offered stunning views of the ocean, and it was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee or watch the sunset with a glass of wine. What truly made the stay unforgettable, though, was Glenda herself. Ever-attentive and full of local wisdom, she was the guide we didn’t know we needed. Her thoughtful touches, made it feel less like a rental, and more like a friend had invited us to stay.

This was our second stay at Chris's waterfront cottage. We were lucky enough to be here during the local Christmas holiday festivities in Oriental. Chris's place was so peaceful and serene. We can't wait to stay again!

Enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed except a personal chef. Clean, spacious and as advertised.

We had 8 adults in this space. It was perfect for us all. Everyone agreed that it couldn't have been better for 8 adults. Even our evenings at home the living area held us well.

Coastal Cottage is located in a beautiful area and close to Beaufort, Morehead City and surrounding cities. The cottage was beautifully decorated and it was very comfortable for our weekend trip. Definitely recommend this area and Coastal Cottage. Wish we could have stayed a little big longer. Kim was very responsive and helpful! Thank you for your hospitality!

wonderful place for a getaway. peaceful area, super neat and clean. Denise had everything in place that we would need and lots of little extras from phone chargers, movies, books and games, toothbrushes, shampoo,etc. We felt very welcomed and at home. Hope to come back for a longer visit in the future.

I cannot recommend this place enough! the reason we chose this spot was the dock and yard for kids to play. there are plenty of beach front properties to choose from in the area but this place is special. a home away from home. the options for outside relaxing were amazing and truly offered spaces for fun and fostering connection with each other. we played wifle ball, flew kites, and took out the kayaks for an adventure of a life time exploring the near by islands and shallow water ways across the bay. every day was full of adventure, shell treasures, and ended with porch sitting and corn hole. our hearts were full and truly sad to leave. I'm already planning our next visit.
