The stay does complete justice to its name, Homely Hills - felt right at home in the lap of the mountains! From the food, to the breeze, to the kohra that envelops the mountains like gift wrapping. Homely hills is a gift you must give to yourself. And please please work in the khet when you’re here, if your body allows you to. It will be a life changing experience. Thank you to Saroj di, Sunaxi, Sujal, Rajesh Uncle, Amit, Dadi Ludra Devi, Dada, Airi, Geeta, Mitsu, Laddoo, Atro Devi, Jaggo Devi, Naro Devi, Mia, Gia and Misky. I know, for a fact, that I will always have a home here, at homely hills.

I was a great experience , I like the property and I recomend to stay at least once to get peace. The host Mr. Suman is a very nice person , they supported alot.

Arvina home stay, hosted by Arvina stands out firstly for its host, Arvina. Without her, this place wouldn't be what it is. She is a gracious host with great local recommendations, a delightful cook and a good conversationalist. The place is really clean and well set up. It's walkable from the Chakrata market and therefore close to most everything. Getting luggage up is a little hard with the Chakrata streets and the steps. That would be my only concern. otherwise the place is amazing. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

I went to the place blindly based on reviews & it turned out to be absolutely fantastic. The only tricky part is reaching there since map doesn’t work properly on hills. Rest is just awesome,Robin & his wife are proactive and all through the day they will take care of you incase you plan on a staycation. The view from the first floor balcony is ideal and breathtaking. So ask in advance for booking the room with balcony. One would love to have breakfast and meals from there. I would suggest to visit post June month when the apples will be almost ripe for plucking and the overall view will be at its best. The huge apple orchard is really the apple of the eye for people who plan of staying at the premises and enjoy nature. I will be visiting again,sooner than expected.

Being from Bangalore, I get Soo used to all the hustle and the noise. But the truth is sometimes I need an escape. Luckily I found the Living woods on Airbnb. The time I spent was truly amazing. The hosts were really extraordinary and I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in experiencing the higher altitudes of Himachal. I will be back to visit again.

Cabin 62 is an untouched place offering its serenity and calmness to its guests. This place is just near the main market of Chakrata The place is very peaceful and is right fit for you if you are looking for something earthy and soothing. The hosts SUDHA and their helpers are everything you want in such experiences i.e., friendly and interactive. They made us feel right at home. Sudha makes sure all the guests are very comfortable right from the time they set foot in the property and makes sure everyone eats on time and personally accompanies them on evening treks. Speaking of food, since the place is secluded with not much of food placed around, the food offered at the property is super tasty and feels like you are eating ghar ka khana and at a very nominal price. All in all this place is full of warmth because of the hosts and I can visit them again because it felt like home.

I have never encountered better hosts than Mr. Davinder and his family. They are very nice, modest, witty, and polite. The level of hospitality exceeds that of any five-star hotel. The rooms are enormous and equipped with all the necessities. Delicious home-cooked cuisine is served. You will feel at ease. The homestay's location and view are both breathtakingly amazing. You must select Davinder's homestay if you truly want to enjoy the natural world and Himachali culture. The best homestay award goes without a doubt to Mr. Davinder.

An extremely wonderful, peaceful.and welcoming stay with Vashisht and his family. Both aunty and uncle treated us like their own and went to great lengths to make our stay comfortable. The food was so tasty, homely - Simple but yummy! Thank you for having g us and we look forward to visiting again! The place is also extremely beautiful with a great view of the mountains and snow capped peaks on a clear morning. Overall a 5-star experience
