I spent over two years looking for the best place to have an Airbnb in the area, and this was the winning spot! It is less than 20 minutes from the airport. You are in a quiet, peaceful place with over 40 acres of trees and wildlife around. The home is on Murphy Dome which is the best point to see the lights and you can easily see the lights from the comfort of this comfy vacation home. Hunting, fishing, hiking...all walking distance! My car is available for rent as well if you need transport.

Our home is surrounded by forest and full of light. We have a view of the whole valley with amazing sunrises in the winter and year round opportunities to see wildlife. There is a huge covered patio and outdoor living area with a propane grill for summer. We love families and have toys, books, a playground/sandbox, baby items, tons of board games and TWO pianos! We live here much of the year and love to cook so it's very well equipped including a generator, wood stove, and emergency supplies.

The Fireweed Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Fireweed Cottage is a dry cabin located right outside of Healy. This cabin offer a full sized bed, private outhouse, hotplate, fridge, grill, fire pit area and great views! Although it being a dry cabin means no running water you will have water for drinking and other needs. Since the cabin is located right outside of Healy it has easy access to the grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants. Enjoy a peaceful stay at this cozy cabin!

RnR Homestead is located right off the Parks Hwy just 24 miles north of Denali National Park. The small town of Healy with restaurants and a grocery store is a ten minute drive south on the highway. The 80-acre property is surrounded by giant spruce and birch trees with amazing views of the Nenana River valley and the outer Alaska Range. It's bordered by state land and the northern section of Denali Park. The first floor has kitchen, bathroom & living space. The upstairs is bedrooms only.

About 2000 square feet with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Maximum occupancy in winter is 5 people if one person is willing to sleep on the very comfortable couch. Aurora viewable from within house if weather and aurora activity cooperate.
