Exceptional experience! David is a wonderful and personable host. He is very accommodating and the location was perfect. He gave us great fishing advice and restaurant recommendations. We felt like we were at home and were very comfortable. It was peaceful, private, and exactly as described. Extremely clean and well kept. We will definitely be back!

Such a cozy place to stay. If you are looking for a four star hotel, then stay in one! If you are looking for a quiet, private, peaceful and comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price then this is it. Everything you could need is already there. Only a 10 minute drive from downtown so that was great for us. The king size bed was very comfortable for me my daughter and dil! When the TV wouldn't come on Ambre got right on it and Robert installed a brand new 65" the next day! We highly recommend "Natty Nestle White" Thank you once again Ambre, and Robert!

My wife and I were extremely pleased with our stay!!! Your home was very clean and welcoming- super comfortable!!! We have already decided we will be back - maybe around the Holidays to enjoy the Christmas lights and festivities. Hope to be back soon!!! Jack & Tonya B

Brenda greeted us upon arrival and showed us the room which was excellent. It reminded us of rooms in which we stayed when touring Europe--a cozy efficiency flat. It was ideally located for our purposes. Very quiet at night for a good sleep. We enjoyed it.

The place was very clean, beds were comfortable beds, friendly owner, very helpful for picking out dinner. The location is very peaceful. Great fishing or just bird watching. I appreciated the coffee. They offer breakfast and lunch for a fee . They also have a little convince store.

This was a great home to stay in, Tonya was a great host. I cant wait to go back, I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Janice and her family have definitely gone “the extra mile“ with quality decorations, comfortable, furnishings, and extra special touches in every room! So much so that I found myself, as a Short-term Rental owner, asking for lots of referral links! I would come back here in a heartbeat! We were able to walk to downtown with ease. Loved every minute of it!

I cannot say enough great things about "Shore Thing" and it's host Amy! From start to finish, Amy was an amazingly responsive and gracious host! She made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation an incredible experience. Coming from someone who is in the "people business", I can always tell when someone takes pride in what they do. Amy is DEFINITELY one of those people! Everything in this place was clean, in order, and well-maintained. From the modern updated bathroom and kitchen appliances to the multitude of other amenities, "Shore Thing" is the best place we've ever stayed on Toledo Bend Lake! I HIGHLY recommend this property and especially it's host. Thank you again Amy and "Shore Thing" for making our vacation spectacular!

What a great view. This was our first guys trip to Toledo Bend. The dock was amazing. Plenty of space to hangout. We used the boat ramp. It was very convenient. This location is very close to Many, LA so groceries etc are very close. Gilligans crawfish and barbecue were close and amazing. Definitely recommend. The rooms were as listed and comfortable. The kitchen was good.

Very spacious. We had 8 -10 people the whole time and no issues with sharing bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of linens. Plenty of room to spread out your things. Having 2 kitchens was awesome. The fire pit was great as it was cool in the evenings. We brought a boat. Parked under covered dock but we used public ramp which was a few miles down the way. It would be fine for a smaller boat. Being on a cove the water level questionable. Bait & tackle/gas/grocery shop about 5 miles away. Plenty of parking. Nice for large family or friends gathering with plenty of space inside or outdoors.

This place was phenomenal. The house is beautiful, with plenty of space to spread out. Being at the back of a small cove, there was no through boat traffic. This led to very peaceful mornings and evenings down at the wharf. The large yard and downstairs game room give ample space for kids to run and play with endless fun for all ages. If you bring your own boat, being able to keep it in the water tied to the wharf saves a lot of time instead of having to launch every time you want to go fish. No boat? Fish from the wharf. I would recommend this place to anyone, and look forward to go back. The hosts were fantastic to deal with and very friendly.

We had a nice weekend get away. We have two children under 6 and they had a great time!
