we enjoyed our stay. all the appliances were as described and were of a great help to us. although the approach road to the property from the main highway is a task with sharp inclines, but uska maza bhi kuch aur hai. I enjoyed climbing those inclines twice a day, specially in my morning walks. Every place has its plus and minuses and it depends upon an individual how to find a way to enjoy and have a great time. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

This place is heaven. The location, the house, the facilities, the caretakers, the food- everything was beyond awesome. Rahul always responded in time. The caretakers Chandan and Mohan need special mention- they provided all required help, delicious food and great hospitality. Overall this place needs to be visited again and again for its charm, Himalayan views, tranquility and hospitality. We would definitely visit the place again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at La riviere waterfront and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The host, Aanshu , welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of the family. The homestay itself is beautifully maintained, with cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and impeccable cleanliness. What truly sets this Homestay apart, however, is the amazing view of nature.The host went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, providing valuable recommendations and insights into the local culture. This place is a true gem. The whole rustic and wooden vibe of the house is truely amazing. The house is big and airy, lots of space to sit, lots of space to move and lots of sunshine. The cook and caretaker both are well versed persons. This place is a beauty to the naked eye. The host has kept everything in mind for youre comfort. Just make sure that you take accompanies from ramnagar so that you dont have to find a shop in the nearby market. Homemade is delicious, and there are not much option to eat out, so stay put and enjoy the whole vibe.

Our stay at the villa was undoubtedly the highlight of our entire Uttarakhand journey. The location offered breathtaking views and an atmosphere of sheer tranquility. From serene mornings spent breathing in the crisp valley air to delightful evenings on the terrace creating cherished memories with friends, the villa proved to be an exceptional host to our experience. We were thoroughly impressed by the meticulous arrangements at the villa. From the welcoming sensor lights at the gate that guided us during late-night arrivals to the array of thoughtful amenities, every detail was well-planned. Dining options were versatile, with the choice of a maid preparing meals at the villa, a cook conveniently located nearby, or simply ordering from nearby restaurants. The bedrooms were designed to offer ultimate coziness, and the charming drawing room, complete with a fireplace, added a warm and inviting touch. Sunilji’s hospitality was unparalleled. Always just a phone call away, he is prompt.

Nidhi is a great Host. She will make sure that you are comfortable and your needs are met. The caretaker was aslo helpful and explained to us about the house pretty well. The views from the property are beautiful. Will recommend staying there for a quite, peaceful and private stay. P.S.- The slope to reach the propery might look scary at first but it is easily manageable. Put your vehicle on first gear and use engine breaking. Do not pull the engage the clutch while going down. I managed to go up and down 2 times on my 350 Kgs bike without any issues.

We had amazing stay with family. The place has beautiful surroundings with good view of valley and mountains. it's a good stay to spend time with family and explore around

I had a fantastic stay at Digvijay’s cottage. It’s in the mid of a tee estate (it’s not a massive tea estate but a small one, but peaceful.) The room is absolutely minimalist but makes you feel like home. It’s a wooden cottage and you get that old time charm. It’s a two story cottage with bedrooms upstairs and bathroom, kitchen, work desk etc. at ground floor. For food, if you are really keen on fancy food probably you can cook yourself as the place has a 2 burner gas stove or you can eat at some eatery before reaching here (No fancy restaurants around). The other option is to ask the caretaker Mr Girish to cook for you. He cooks homely meals and charges for it additionally. Beyond that, on a clear day you can catch glimpse of snow cladded Himalayas from the cabin itself. Parking is available at the property but driving down that Slope could test your driving skills thoroughly. All in all a lovely place to stay. I was there in 3 week of April 2025.

The property is nestled in a quaint part of Majkhali, with easy access from the National Highway. There's 2 switchbacks and a short dirt trail + concrete road wide enough for one car leading to the property. Fairly easy to navigate through for anyone used to driving on the hills. The Chalet is as described in the pictures, and is maintained well by the hosts. The bedrooms aren't too cramped, and the bathrooms are neat. The kitchen had all basic cutlery, crockery, and glassware. The food menu has most of the basic varieties and local choices included, and the cook, Harish, prepares a fine meal. Being in a hamlet, we were asked to place our food orders a few hours in advance, which was completely understandable for the staff to go out and buy fresh produce. The caretaker, Paan Singh, is super jovial, and always ready to assist in anything required. I spent 3 days here with my parents, and we went back satisfied with the experience and the hosting.
