My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Samawati. The serene environment is a beautiful space to unwind and reconnect. Rachel was very responsive, as well as Bernice the caretaker. I’d totally recommend this place especially to families looking for a cool serene environment.

5 Stars is well deserved for this cottage!! We absolutely had a great stay. The house is very clean, comfortable and in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The nature around is so tranquil and serene. Our kids spent a lot of time outside in the garden. All amenities functioned very well, the kitchen was well equipped, the shower was the best we ever had, pressure and hot water! And beds were comfortable too. The check in was smooth and Beverly helped us with a huge gallon of water, highly appreciated. We extended our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. One thing to note: from the main road it is 3kms to the house and not 4.

Muigai welcomed me, communicated, arranged his nephew to meet me at Nakuru as guide to the hidden Airbnb gem. Mama Muigai a warm hospitable host, very communicative, very generous who provided awesome authentic local meals. Moreover, enjoyed the view of Menegai crater, sun rise and sun sets in her back yard. She took me around the garden which was inspiring. Mama Muigai introduced me to her family warmly, highest regards to her Sons, Daughters, grandchildren, & neighbors. Being a farm comes with some challenges, of which mama Muigai & family meet the challenges with solutions accordingly. I had an awesome time. Blessings and thank you for your awesome hospitality! Me and my friends had an amazing time at Davida's cottage. Agnes was responsive when we were checking in, and the staff was super friendly and hospitable, making us feel at home. You can order food from the restaurant and get it served in the cottage. The place is very clean and cozy. It was a great find!

I gave this place 5 stars because of Dennis and the Maasai staff. The property itself is not a five star resort with all the trimmings and that's what makes it charming. But, because they provide jobs and outreach to the wonderful staff I could not bring myself to give it any less. I had an upsetting issue and it was resolved with the help of the staff and Dennis, and only Dennis. Asante sana, Dennis! 🙏 The camp is rustic, sustainable, and everything I wanted. I lived out of a permanent or movable tent for 6 weeks while in Africa. I miss hearing the animals very much. The food is pretty much the same daily likely because the property is 6 hours away from Nairobi in the bush and it is tough to get anything, but it is prepared with love. I enjoyed it. If you take an all day game drive make sure you ask what lunch is. I stayed for a week. Most people stay a night The view from camp is perfect for sunsets. Cows and goats roam through the property which provide a wonderful local feel

We had such a wonderful stay at Emara Cottage! It’s the perfect weekend getaway, set in the most breathtaking surroundings. The cottage and rondavel suited our family perfectly, providing both comfort and charm. A big bonus for us was the airstrip within walking distance, making our trip even more convenient. Thank you for a truly lovely stay—we will most definitely be back!

Ben's place is paradise. I joked to him that his place is the Eden. We got there late; the place was very ready for us. A crackling fire set the warmth. It felt like a second honeymoon. I went to paradise and never wanted to leave.

This home is so beautiful and nice. There was unlimited wood for a fire and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and supplies needed to cook. I would definitely come back!

One of the most beautiful place on earth! The house is masterpiece of taste, staff was fantastic, and the host was great and organized a great cook for us (Melvin, an amazing chef who cooked a fantastic Swahili breakfast). We hope we can come back one day. For sure we will never visit Kenya again without going there again.
