Great location close to the lakefront as described. Also there is Carnellys restaurant nearby. Check-in was smooth and the host was responsive. We enjoyed the brunch at the garden area. Overall good stay! Thank you.

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

The house and grounds are gorgeous, old atyle colonial feel. Beautiful views, lots of space, very safe. Roof leaked a little with rain. Workers were awesome. Great place for a family reunion.

We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful weekend at the Butterfly Cottage. The view of the lake was spectacular! Marc was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Our stay in Lynn's place was absolutely wonderful. All the place was really cozy and spacious. Bedroom was for sure much bigger than it seems in pictures and also really cute with all the lights. Shishi Wanjiku made our stay really special. She was so nice and she made us the best dinner and breakfast, which we had during our trip on Kenya. We made a fire in fireplace and enjoyed our food. It was truly amazing experience there. :)

Heel leuk huis. Rustig gelegen. Mooie omgeving. Host kon contacten doorgeven voor gegidste activiteiten in de buurt. Wij wouden graag een dag extra blijven maar helaas was de accommodatie al geboekt. Eunice regelde voor ons een nieuw verblijf in de buurt dat even verzorgd was en aan de zelfde prijs. Aanrader!

Wir haben fünf Tage in diesem schönen und sicheren Apartment von Eunice verbracht und uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Apartment befindet sich ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß von dem Busbahnhof (matatus) entfernt, die Gegend ist sehr sicher und man kann auch mit Gepäck problemlos zum Apartment laufen. In der Nähe befinden sich ein großer Supermarkt (Kartenzahlung möglich) und zahlreiche Geschäfte und kleine Restaurants. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet, in der Küche gab es alles notwendig zum Kochen, sogar Toaster und Mikrowelle. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man die Wäsche zum Trocknen aufhängen. Das Wohnzimmer hatte eine große Couch und einen Fernseher mit Netflix. WIFI war schnell und stabil. Das Schlafzimmer war groß, hell und sauber, wir hatten viel Platz für unsere Kleidung im Schrank und in der Komode. Der Kontakt mit Eunice war reibungslos, immer schnell und zuverlässig. Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen, auch für einen langen Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank!

Cosy home right on the highway just in case you're using public means and still quiet once inside. The rooms were all ensuite. Our host Wambui was very helpful together with the chef Juma at an extra cost but worth it. The pool is beautiful and the bonfire and mbuzi choma were great. Carry warm clothes it gets cold at night. I would stay there again.

A lovely, spacious cottage, ideal for two people. The care taker is super helpful with hands-on support in the cottage as well as logistical advice and support. The only drawback is that the cottage is a little far away from town, and pretty much anything so having a vehicle on your own is advisable, else you'll need taxi, matatus and a fair bit of walking (which I personally enjoyed, but it might not be for everyone). With that being said, the place is a great base for exploration of Lake Naivasha and around in a quite area

Lovely home in a location close to many of the local sights. House was cozy with a great garden and Victoria was a great host and allowed us an early check in. Would recommend

El entorno es idílico y el Manager nos ayudó para llegar en todo momento. Nos acompaño a dar un paseo por la finca y estuvimos a cm de cebras, etc. El baño y la cocina muy muy bien, la única pega que el tent no está completamente aislado y entran varios insectos, aún que echamos spray, no nos libramos de alguna picadura de mosquito. No obstante, todo muy bien. 100% recomendable.

Great place to explore Naivasha and Mt Longonot. The house and the area are amazing, and very quiet. This is a great place to disconnect if you are coming from busy Nairobi. The house has everything you need to spent few days and relax

We had such a wonderful stay at Emara Cottage! It’s the perfect weekend getaway, set in the most breathtaking surroundings. The cottage and rondavel suited our family perfectly, providing both comfort and charm. A big bonus for us was the airstrip within walking distance, making our trip even more convenient. Thank you for a truly lovely stay—we will most definitely be back!

Lovely cottage exactly as shown in the photos. The compound is quite beautiful too. Visited with family and would come back again. Good proximity to the places we planned to visit and of course to Naivasha town. Marvin is a great and helpful host. The staff were helpful too. Shiku the chef is pleasant but her food was bland.

I had a great stay at Daisy's, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of Great Rift Valley Lodge! It was peaceful and fun for me and my friends. Highly recommended.
