It was the perfect bed&breakfast experience. We slept like babies and the whole house was very comfortable. Everything you might need (and more) was there, I would have gladly stayed one more night. The breakfast was sooo much and delicious, we absolutely loved it. Kate and David are sweethearts and obviously made to be amazing hosts. We are so lucky to have found this place during our roadtrip through the Highlands. We wish them the absolute best, and to all the lucky ones coming here. Cheers, Alba&Alex

We stayed for 3 nights and it was lovely. The space was clean and well equipped. It was within walking distance to the local co-op and restaurants and close to a few trails and Balvenie Castle. Neil made breakfast every morning and it was delicious. Hazel provided us with tips on walking trails and things to see that was very helpful. Overall the whole experience was great.

Fiona and her family were incredible hosts to us. So kind, welcoming, and very helpful. She went above and beyond with breakfast and it was delicious, making our stay one of our most warm and authentic Scottish experiences. They had recommendations on where to eat and even places to visit throughout the rest of our trip, which we listened to and were glad we did! The place was very close and convenient to many Loch Ness points of interest, would definitely stay here again!

Lovely private twin room with a gorgeous view of the river. Fully functional kitchen, comfy couches and a good table for eating. Small? But cozy common room! Would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed my 2 night stay here. Nicely furnished bedroom with adjacent lounge. Ideal location in the centre of Ballater with easy parking on the street outside. Straightforward check in with the keybox. I had an excellent breakfast at The Bothy cafe just a stone's throw away. There are lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep. However there is one significant caveat with this particular room. Being in the attic it has very low ceilings and even lower doors. I'm 6ft 2 and the top of the door frames were level my forehead so I had to stoop to get through. The shower cubical was also rather cramped with a low sloping ceiling which I managed to whack my head on. So my advice is that if you are above average height go for one of the other rooms on the first floor.

Séjour en Famille dans la tiny house, très confortable. Endroit idéal pour les enfants qui ont pu jouer et aller voir les animaux. Très bonne communication. Petit déjeuner servi le matin en commande, très agréable de le prendre à l’extérieur. Nous recommandons ! Merci
