Although I'd have like to pay less for our 1-night stay, Kathy's house was immaculate and very charming. She lives next door, and she came over to introduce herself once we arrived. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ask for. The neighborhood is quiet, and the whole house has a relaxed atmosphere with little extras including cozy blankets in the living room. This is an unexpected gem in Savanna.

Great place, excellent hiking and everything you need for a comfotable stay. Jim was available for questions with quick replies and had great information about the trails and history of the area. This is a special area and you can tell there are people who care deeply about maintinaing it. We will definitely return to this area!

I’ve stayed at Nancy and Grants quite a few times now…because it’s lovely and comfortable and so close to things in MtC. Highly recommend everything about an experience at their property!! You won’t be disappointed!

The house is in a neighborhood of nice homes, peaceful and walkable. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was so well organized with everything you need and the bathrooms were spotless. It’s in a perfect location to restaurants. Highly recommend and will reserve again.

We loved our stay at Highview! The iffy weather allowed us to take advantage of the cozy, comfortable cabin as we spent a day inside reading, playing games, and enjoying the spectacular view- even on a cloudy day. When it was nice, we hiked Apple River Canyon, checked out some wineries and had a fun dinner at JJ & Freddie's right down the road. The bartender/owner was friendly and full of recommendations. Thank you Dan Kellie for opening your beautiful cabin to us. WE would love to come back and experience the beautiful surroundings in every season.

We enjoyed staying here! It was very peaceful and pretty quiet other than the occasional train cars linking together across the river but that didn’t bother us at all. The fishing was great! We caught lots of catfish! We definitely will save this home for future trips! Jason was super friendly and very helpful whenever we had any questions!
