We thoroughly enjoyed Anne's pod accommodation. A great peaceful, quiet location with beautiful scenery and farm animals. Easy access to the town of Portree. We travelled the entire island of Skye over 3 days. Anne was a great host. Always responsive. The pod was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The pod was comfortable and warm. We highly recommend Anne as a host and Anne's pod as a charming place to stay. Colin & Deborah

absolutely beautiful area. plenty of space for kids and dog in garden. sheep visiting often regardless of the gate being closed. house comfy and cozy and warm. bathroom was stunning and plenty of hot water.

Alistair’s cottage in Skye was charming, welcoming, and the perfect base for our adventures around the island. The cottage is filled with unique artworks and Alistair provided clear instructions and helpful local recommendations!

The house is set in a beautiful location with a wonderful view. We found it spotlessly clean. It is well equipped, light, bright and comfortable. The host communicated well and directions were clear. We were blessed with beautiful weather for most of our stay but it was chilly in the evenings so we lit the fire which was lovely. Would totally recommend this holiday home. We did the Talisker Distillery tour which was very interesting so recommend that too.

Cosy, clean, and idyllic place by the water! Elizabeth was very accommodating and it was such a lovely experience n would recommend!

Delightful cottage close to the Uig ferry to the Outer Hebrides and so very well located for us. The cottage has great views and is walking distance to the Fairy Glen and Castle Ewen sightseeing attractions. The cottage is very clean, warm and most charming.

Donna's place is absolutely beautiful, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is great, and the views from the house are simply breathtaking. We had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend staying here—already looking forward to coming back in the future!

Burnside Cottage was perfect! It was cozy and had everything we needed! The scenery was phenomenal! We loved the quiet location! My only complaint was we didn’t want to leave!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the PodLodge!The location is the perfect distance to Stornoway whilst still being far away enough for a peaceful and relaxing break. Our two year old son loved saying hello to the pet sheep everyday and enjoyed exploring the outside area of the Pod. It felt safe and secure. Stephen sent us very clear instructions before we arrived with supporting YouTube videos on how to get there and a tour inside the Pod. When we arrived, we were blown away with the lovely touches left for our arrival, from basic supplies in the fridge to a welcome gift of Scottish fudge on the kitchen workshop. The Pod was absolutely spotless and had every amenity you would need for a short stay. We were sad to leave the Pod after such a brilliant stay - It really topped off our little holiday! We regularly visit Lewis to see family and have stayed in other properties on the island... This has been our favourite!! We'd love to come back! Thank you so much Stephen and Ruth!

This modern gem is a perfect escape for those seeking peace, quiet, and breathtaking views. Nestled in serene surroundings, the house is beautifully designed and exceptionally well equipped, offering all the comforts you could want.

What a fantastic experience at both the accommodation and the island itself. We travelled from Inverness having never properly been to Skye and we were blown away by the setting of the Pod and its facilities. The little bag of goodies for our son was also a fantastic touch!

We had a great 2-night stay at the Shepherd's Hut. The views and local scenery were breathtaking, including the sheep and new lambs right out front. We had a lot of fun hunting for the dinosaur footprints at Staffin Beach just up the road and it's worth checking out the dinosaur museum next store to see some incredible artifacts and learn a bit of the local history from the local family that owns it. The Hut was very clean and well stocked. It actually feels a lot bigger on the ins than it looks from the outside! We would absolutely stay here again, 10/10 recommend.

Ok let’s get the inevitable out the way….THAT pot holed road to the house. It is a challenge, I’ll give you, BUT after a few outings we managed fine in our wee SUV, take your time & you’ll master it! That aside, we could happily have stocked up on food & wine and stayed here the full 4 days without venturing to shops. It’s such a haven! The coolest house & our dog loved the huge enclosed garden. We relished the much needed seclusion & isolation. The highlight: walking to MacLeod’s Maidens from the doorstep, getting back to run a hot bath and cook the best fish pie on the wonderful Everhot stove. Must also mention the high quality cooking utensils & crockery. The owners obviously LOVE to cook when they are here! This is a place for lovers of tranquility & idyllic situations. (Look out for the white tailed eagles perching in the trees above the house, truly magnificent and a rare treat.) We shall definitely return here.

Waking up to the view from the window of the cabin was one of the most memorable takeaways from our stay. Dawn was a great host and helped us check in early when it was raining, bringing us some extra fire wood too. Loved getting cosy by the fire as the weather did its thing outside. Would love to come back!

Had an amazing stay at Angel's Share! John and Mhairi are excellent hosts and we had everything we could need for our stay. Everything in the house was easy to use and exactly as described. Perfect base to explore Skye and we will definitely be back.

The caravan is very comfortable and cozy, very well-equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Views of the lake are great and Yasmin and Trevor are excellent hosts. They responded and solved some minor issues very promptly. Our stay was lovely! 🥰 I highly recommend this place to explore the highlands!

Our family of three stayed for a couple days at the North Skye Pods and we loved every minute of it. Great location, beautiful scenery, cozy and with everything you need. We really appreciated the opportunity to do laundry (washers and dryers!) as well. Edward is an accomodating host, helpful and friendly. We would definitwly come again!

My Mum and I had a fantastic weekend in this gorgeous, cosy and ideally located cottage. The cottage itself is beautifully designed and furnished, and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, the shower is fabulous, the wood burning stove is just what you need after a day exploring! The location is ideal for visiting the island and the views from the cottage are stunning. A perfect place to relax and explore this beautiful part of the world! We loved it. Can't recommend the cottage highly enough. Julie couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay and found the accommodation to be warm, cosy and quiet. It was comfortable and clean and as described. Liz was a lovely host and we loved the eggs from her chickens. Seeing her new lambs in the field outside the decking was an added bonus!

For three adults Glenconon Cottage was super cute and we had a wonderful stay! The bathroom was fantastic, the bath was one of the best baths I’ve ever had! Recommend bring bath bubbles/salts. Even the shower was beautiful and hot with great pressure. We loved sitting by the fire place in the evening, and enjoying the stunning views during the day. Kitchen was very well equipped and being international travelers we so appreciated the basics like olive oil, milk, salt and pepper. Ian as a host has thought of everything. House was very warm too with central heating. We really appreciated the use of the washing machine and dryer too. The only thing to be aware of is that the gate needs to be opened and closed each time.

First time staying in a pod, but it won’t be our last! We weren’t sure if compact living would mean we would have to sacrifice on space or convenience but we needn’t have worried, the pod had everything we needed and more and was surprisingly spacious. It was also extremely cosy and comfortable, with lovely views and a very friendly host. We initially wanted something very remote and isolated but actually knowing that Keith and his family were just next door was a comfort, and we never even saw them after checking in so the place still felt really private. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!
