we had a lovely family holiday . The house had everything we needed . The location was great with restaurant's, shop's, pubs and beach within walking distance . We will return for another stay .

We fell in love with this house. It’s in a beautifully secluded spot with direct access to the water. We swam each morning and it was bliss. The layout of the house is great, with a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room and a gorgeous deck that gets the sun. The surrounding area is stunning. We particularly liked the Buddhist centre and vegetarian cafe, which is in a gorgeous spot with breathtaking views. Would love to go back and spend more time exploring.

Het verblijf was boven verwachting en precies zoals de beschrijving. Lough Corrib ligt op drie minuten lopen van het huis, met een prachtig uitzicht op het landschap en de bergen. We komen hier graag nog eens terug.

Margaret is an amazing host and the house is fabulous! We all felt right at home, the place was very clean, cosy, had everything we needed and was very warm and comfortable.

A gem in an oasis of calm... and that's just the host! This is a rare-find Airbnb, a great location, an extremely well thought-out apartment, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with an absolute gent for a host. Stefan was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, yet always respected our peace and quiet too and, yes, as others have said, he had indeed baked a lovely pear and almond cake to settle us in! His care for his guests' enjoyment is really genuine and heartwarming, and nothing is too much trouble, and he quietly went about helping us, on a few occasions, with no fuss. One lovely aspect of the place is that Stefan provides several different places where guests can sit out to enjoy the sun and the view at different times of the day. This is now one of our most favourite Airbnbs - highly recommended. Oh, and the restaurant Cent' Anni in the nearby Durrus village is an absolute must for exquisite pizzas - honestly!

We had a super stay at Willie's place. The apartment was very stylish and comfy and had everything we needed including a great coffee machine. The pizzas (and pints) in the pub downstairs were delicious! Will definitely return in future.

We had a lovely stay at the penthouse which has beautiful views of the sea from the balcony. The place was very clean and comfortable. Good location out of the city centre for visiting county Cork. We would highly recommend.

Marilyn was so welcoming to her cottage. She provided very clear directions that made the destination easy to navigate. Myself and my boyfriend were staying for a Macra event, Mr. Personality, which was held in The Hub. She ever so kindly dropped us in. If we travel up for that event again, we will definitely book this lovely place. I also made a mistake with my booking 🙈 thankfully she was understanding and allowed us to stay an extra night. Die Unterkunft ist abgelegen in den Bergen von Irland, umgeben von Seen und Schafen. Die Aussicht ist traumhauft, was die längere (30min) Fahrt durch kleine Landstraßen es wert macht. Das Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es ist alles da was man braucht zum Kochen. Gerard war ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Ein Ort zu dem wir gerne zurückkommen!

We had such a lovely stay at Shirley’s lodge! The cottage was absolutely charming—cozy, clean, and full of character. The views were breathtaking and made our time in Ireland feel even more magical. Shirley was the sweetest host, and the fresh bread she made for us was such a thoughtful (and delicious!) touch. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful and authentic Irish countryside experience. Thank you, Shirley!

We had such a lovely, relaxing and convivial time staying in Caroline’s cottage. Leap is a quirky little village and the surrounding area of West Cork is absolutely beautiful. This has been my second time staying in this air bnb and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

This house was lovely, in a great location right on the water. Walking trails just down the lane. This house is rather remote so a car is essential to pick up groceries or head to Dingle for dinner through Connor Pass. A nice getaway from the rush of a city.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are safe and secure so the kids could go around by themselves and see the animals. The family and the groundsmen were really kind and helpful. They gave us food for the animals when they saw the kids watching them and showed us how to feed the peacocks. The animals are well cared for and the grounds are beautiful. I think the cottages were booked out, but the grounds were really quiet and we felt we had the place to ourselves in the evening. There is a lovely spot by the river where you can light a fire and eat at picnic tables. There is also giant chessboard and swings. We loved it in the winter, but I would say it would be a great summer spot too. We would love to come back with a group of people sometime in the future. Thanks for having us. Linsey

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Pat et Mary Angela. Musique irlandaise, scones et feu dans la cheminée à notre arrivée, tout était parfait! The welcome was very warm and friendly. The house was great, as described and very cozy. We were very happy about the “welcome package” in the fridge. Thanks again for that! There's not much in the small village, just a pub and a church. But that doesn't matter at all, because you simply have your peace and quiet here and the surroundings are really very beautiful. For all shopping and other purchases or eating out it is about 10 minutes by car. The house is a very good starting point for excursions. In the short time we were here we did a lot of hiking, visited Dublin and Kilkenny and took a trip to the east coast. It was also very beautiful there, great scenery. The Wicklow Mountains anyway, definitely a recommendation! This accommodation is definitely recommended! We felt very comfortable!
