Stunning location, right on the beach front with incredible views and the sound of the ocean on your doorstep. The views and location exceeded expectations. The house is nicely renovated and perfectly setup for a relaxing time away. We were extremely happy with the home and wish we could have stayed longer.

What a spot!! absolute beachfront, high up on the hill overlooking the beach. We booked for our wedding night, but hosts were flexible with an early check in so the bridal party could get ready. Don't book if you don't like listening to the roar of the ocean when it's windy, but if you find it soothing like us, then it's perfect! Nice stairs down to the sand, perfect for a walk, and a nice deck area. The undercover area with fire is so nice for that bad weather but wanting a cosy spot to relax. I have zero complaints, place was spotless, nicely laid out and great parking. We are local to the Pukehina area, but if we ever need to book somewhere there again, this will be first on this list! Very enjoyable and comfortable stay

Delwyn and Sara were quick to respond to any communication. They obviously understood families as they supplied extra linen and towels. We appreciated being able to have our family dogs with us, and they had a great time too. We appreciated the offer of a late check out to enjoy the sunshine after an otherwise very wet and blustery stay.

Paul's haven is a quiet and quaint little cottage. One is welcomed by the local bunny and kitty both of whom were big hits with my preschooler. The house is a cozy 20's style with a homely feel. The home is clean and generously appointed and the master bedroom has a beautiful mural! We slept well and just lived spending time there and enjoyed a couple of slow mornings. Paul graciously allowed us early check-in and late check-out which were greatly appreciated. Many thanks

This was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the attention to detail was fantastic. The outdoor shower was a great bonus, and the waffle station was such a fun and unique touch – my friend had a blast making waffles for breakfast! The outdoor area is lovely and well set up, with a BBQ that we didn’t get the chance to use on this short trip, but we’re already planning to come back. The high fences made it feel really secure, especially great for those travelling with dogs. Gerard was fantastic – super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. In terms of cleanliness, location, and amenities, this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful family getaway at Gail’s Bach! Unfortunately the Easter weekend weather did not cooperate and stormed most of our stay, but the design of the space meant we were able to enjoy quality time indoors without feeling too on top of each other. And we spent many hours playing games and completing a puzzle provided in the home! The dining space really makes the home complete, able to seat us all comfortably and with a gorgeous lake view. Super thankful to also have our jetski tied to the jetty spot below the house. The boat ramp is super close in the bay and easy to use which was lovely - for the brief periods of fine weather we could take it out! Great memories made, thank you so much.
