Very great place to stay, peaceful and great views of the Gold Coast. Walking distance to the Cauldron Gin distillery which has a great vibe. Very good stay and welcoming hosts.

mark and Linda's place was very cosy and private was what we were looking for. exactly what we needed for our anniversary. was relaxing with the spa and spacious with the kitchen being able to cook meals. mark and Linda were very helpful with all the questions I had. thanks for a great stay

We had an amazing 2-night stay at this beautiful cabin! The place was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and full of charm. Nestled in a peaceful location, it was the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. We especially loved the fireplace, the view from the bedroom, and the friendly cows and horses. perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The host was responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway close to brisbane and goldcoast. Thanks Again Catherine!

Beautiful, peaceful, and private. So many different spots to enjoy. Everything was well-thought out, considered, and gorgeous to look at and enjoy. We instantly felt relaxed and looked after during our stay. :)

My wife and I had an excellent stay at Kookaburra Rest for our wedding anniversary. The place was exactly as described on the booking and absolutely relaxing and peaceful. There was some great touches that made our stay very comfortable. The board games, fire pit, Netflix, picnic gear and hot tub, all added to our experience. We left totally relaxed and happy! Thanks Dave and Persia for also being very helpful and with great communication.

We loved our stay at Mark and Nicola’s Cozy Haven Retreat. We enjoyed getting up early in the mornings to an amazing view from the comfort of the bubbles in the spa, taking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the cabin. Well this is a great little find for a couple or two people…. Suuuccch a cute cabin Krill has created…. , the minute you walk through the white picket fence and onto the cute front patio you see passionfruit vines and rosemary…. You walk inside and the compact yet cosy interior is a soothing sight. Then wander out to the back deck to see the beautiful shoreline and as a bonus, native beehive! We also made use of the firepit and kayaks. The shops and cafes are a short walk yet you are surrounded by birds, peace and quiet away from any hustle. A perfect getaway spot for anyone interested in recharging and removing yourself from all the clamour. We had a great Easter.!! Thankyou!

So relaxing! Loved chilling on the verandah with a cuppa with the birds in the morning and playing boardgames there with the beautiful view. Loved hearing the creek all the time, enjoying the picnic area at the swimming hole and having a deer stop in while we were there. Had fun making s'mores at the fire pit and enjoying the stars. it's so private and relaxing not seeing any other buildings, just trees, birds and the llamas next door. Lauren and Scott were very generous with early check in and late checkout. we really appreciated the extra time for one final swim in the stunning creek! Was really nice being able to take our guinea pigs on holiday with us. The decor was very nice. the kitchen was very well equipped. Service was excellent. We all loved it and would come again. thanks Lauren and Scott.

Very good place to switch off from the city. My girlfriend and I loved the simple living in a small cabin with an outdoor shower and fireplace, and cooking with the outdoor BBQ. Highly recommend this airBnB for those who want to disconnect from the city life for a short period of time.

The cabin is the perfect hidden escape. You feel so far from the world but are only a 5 minute drive to the beautiful Samford. Rohan’s communication is wonderful and he was happy to help with anything we needed. Thanks for everything Rohan, all the best. 😊

This was our first visit to Queensland's Scenic Rim region, and the Woodman's Cottage was a perfect choice. Gary and Claire and their little doggo Maggie are very welcoming, but never intrusive, hosts. Their property is tranquil, with beautiful grounds and amazing views to the mountains and sunsets. We loved that the cottage was so private and comfortable, and is only a short drive to cafes and shops. We also loved the little bbq shed, with an old Kooka stove converted into a bbq. It's the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the afternoon watching the beautiful sunset. We were in the area for a wedding and really appreciated Gary's help with directions to the wedding venue. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Craig’s dog-friendly Airbnb was perfect for our golden retriever puppy’s first holiday! The place was extremely clean when we arrived, and super dog proof. The location was incredible, being two minutes from a large shopping centre and walking distance to the dog friendly beach. The kitchen was well equipped - the touch of filtered water was fantastic. Craig was very responsive and checkin was easy. I would love to come here again in the future!

We had a truly wonderful stay! Britt gave us the warmest welcome upon arrival, and her attention to detail was exceptional. She thoughtfully took care of all the little things to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The backyard view was a highlight—watching kangaroos and turkeys in their natural setting was such a treat. The rooms were nice and cozy. we really appreciated the variety of entertainment options, including books, board games, and a smart TV. For nature lovers, this place is a perfect base—just a 30-minute drive from stunning waterfalls, scenic nature walks, glow worm caves, and more. A big thank you to Britt for the fresh-baked bread and for generously providing snacks, butter, milk, water, and other thoughtful touches. The surprise Easter bunny chocolate and the take-home goodies were such a sweet gesture. Thank you, Britt and family, for making our stay so special and for the lovely send-off. We will absolutely be back!

Mel and Ash have a beautiful little patch of paradise! the description is spot on, the space is even better! Excellent communication, helpful instructions, the area is quiet, comfortable bed, gorgeous outhouse, fire pit prepped and ready to go! Mel and Ash made everything available for our relaxing girls night away, we loved our stay, thank you both! we would absolutely visit again!

Very comfortable and tidy little studio. All you could need in the kitchen and bathroom. I stayed for two weeks and was very happy here. Very easy to manage the cooling with a good air conditioner and fan. Was able to make good meals, coffee and snacks in the kitchen with all good appliances. Good size fridge with freezer and ice maker. Washing machine was large and everything dried quickly in the covered deck. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful little place for a couples getaway. Lots of carefully considered details, like binoculars! So peaceful waking up to the beautiful surroundings and surprised at how far the battery went. Was great to have instructions to download the app to keep an eye on the charge which was always up high! Would definitely stay here again ☺️

This cottage was just gorgeous! From the moment we drove into the property, we felt so relaxed and happy from the surroundings. Lee met us for an easy and friendly check in. We loved meeting Lee and she recommended some places for us to eat dinner! The place feels private and serene. The sounds of the people rainforest are just devine to fall asleep to. The next morning, we had cups of tea and cooked ourselves a breakfast. The cottage had everything we needed to cook up eggs and mushrooms we had purchased at the Montville shops the day before. Lee even left some fresh herbs which we cooked with our breakfast. The patio outside was the perfect place to eat or to cheers a sunset drink. Thanks for a wonderful stay :)

“Tranquility” was what it provided. It rained in the middle day, but all the more it gave a refreshing cleansing effect! The cabin had everything I needed, so I spent my days quite comfortably. Possibly if it showed the photos of the path between the roofed parking area and the cabin, it will avoid “a surprise”, though Jo has described the walk. For me, walking up and down those stairs was part of unwinding process. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. I hope it stays like that unchanged.
