I’m sure many of you will be in need of a break away so …. if you are seeking a quiet and private space for your visit to beautiful Mount Maunganui then the recently renovated Beachside Retreat offers just that and more. The studio is perfect for quiet couples, solo travellers and business people. Safe and secure, the studio is bathed in morning and late afternoon sun so is cosy and warm. Heat pump for your comfort whatever the season. Beautiful Mount beach is just across the road. Beach gear available on request. Perfectly positioned to walk into town or stop along the way at some top cafes and restaurants. Back to the studio and you transition from the large deck through sliding glass doors to an interior that's designed for total relaxation. Refresh in a sparkling white bathroom and soak in a designer bathtub before bedtime. Kitchenette for tea and coffee making, microwave and small bar fridge. No cooktop. For your arrival there is a selection of NZ tea’s, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, milk and juice in the studio. On-site parking available for one car. Big screen smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and the usual free to air streaming. Fast high speed unlimited WIFI. A five minute walk to Central Parade shops, Fife Lane Restaurant, Tay Street Cafe and Store, Bay Oval and Blake Park. Also a handy five minute drive to Bayfair and Baypark. Enhanced cleaning and sanitising between guests as per Air BnB guidelines. Parking available on site. We (Shirley & Jim) live upstairs with our small dog Louie. We are around if you need a hand, would like some breakfast, dinner or tourist tips. Otherwise, we will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay. The studio is on Marine Parade, directly opposite Mount Maunganui Beach. Blake Park, Bay Oval, and various shops and great cafes at Central Parade are about a 5-minute walk. It's a quick drive to the Mount, airport, Bayfair Shopping Centre and Trust Power Baypark. Just an hour drive will have you to Whakatane, Rotorua and Hobbiton. Check in and check out times may be adjusted to suit your travel arrangements on request. Luggage drop/storage also available on request.

Private, architecturally designed Studio

A deliberately different, John Henderson designed, slightly quirky B & B in Bethlehem, Tauranga - situated next door too, and run by the owners of Somerset Cottage, a long established restaurant and cookschool. You are always welcome to join us at the restaurant on one of the nights we're open - Wednesday to Saturday ( bookings tend to be necessary), or we can bring a restaurant meal over to you in the Studio if you'd prefer to dine in private. You'll love this unique and romantic escape.

If you wish to store anything you need to request this otherwise the door is also locked from garage side. Studio has high ceilings, double glazing, heat/air con pump. 200 metres to beach, 1.2 km to Fashion Island & Papamoa Plaza, easy 15-20 min walk via reserve with walking/cycling tracks. 6 kms to Bayfair. Quiet location.

Enjoy our attractive, quiet neighbourhood and easy access to Tauranga CBD 10 minutes walk away. Walking distance to Waikato University CBD Campus, restaurants, cafés, fast food, bakery, Pharmacy and Medical centre. Saturday Farmers Market and Bus routes at top of road. Suitable singles, couples and business. Hosts are fully vaccinated against Covid 19 and require guests to be similarity vaccinated as a condition of any booking. The Pool House at Blackburn

Light airy warm self-contained apartment situated on a lifestyle block minutes from Tauranga's CBD. The Pool House has one separate bedroom with 4 built-in bunks good for adults or kids. The main room has a high-end Tilt-away king-size bed with a quality mattress, allowing adults to enjoy evenings and personal space. As we are remediating our land after flood damage we don't have our usual livestock however we are happy for guests to walk and enjoy the property.

A tidy residential area close to beach, suits couples/solo traveller/business. (1-2 guests max). 400m beach, 250m RSA, supermarket, gas station, P.O., local cafes and restaurants, inc Fife Lane. HANDY BLAKE PARK, BAY OVAL (short walk), Mount/Omanu GOLF, Tauranga AIRPORT. 5 mins drive (2.5 k’s)/30 min flat walk along Maunganui Rd to main shops/restaurant/Pilot Bay or approx 45 mins walk via the beautiful beach.

Enjoy the best Papamoa has to offer in our comfortable private guest wing in a safe, quiet neighbourhood, a short walk from the beach. The guest wing is located down a hallway at one end of our home, separated by a screen and is for your exclusive use only. You will also have your own private entrance via the kitchenette. Whether you’re coming for a short beach break, event at nearby Baypark, or an extended stay, we’d love to welcome you.

Beach Front Mount Maunganui

Absolute beach front location on the dunes of stunning Mount Maunganui beach. This spacious luxe guest suite is ideal for a couple wanting a beach break at the Mount. Bedroom is separate from the living area and has a modern ensuite. The suite is located at street level without beach views , however, a short walk up the steps from your separate patio entrance takes you to the incredibly beautiful Mount beach. It is situated on our property but is an easy laid back and stylish space that you can come and go from at your leisure. We are a 3 minute stroll to the beach and a stones throw to Bayfair shopping centre, Baywave, Baypark/ASB Arena, Mount Main Street, Pilot Bay, restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Ground level modern studio apartment with your own private entrance and lock box entry key. Off street car park. Studio doors opening to decks to enjoy your own private outdoor area with table, chairs and bean bags. Kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee, tea and milk, plates, glasses and cutlery. Bathroom with large shower, vanity, toilet and laundry tub for handwashing.
