Cory was always quick to respond and answer questions. The place was such a cute little countryside stay. Boomerangs restaurant was a 4 minute drive with great food, house was clean and had everything we needed. We will be back for the pool! Thank you Cory!

Absolutely wonderful! The listing doesn’t do it justice. The space was flawless, magical. The amenities were all amazingly useful and the nearby area was just as great. The nearby towns and fishing spots are state of the art. Would absolutely recommend.

Incredibly awesome place! A must-- stay! My wife and I just got back from being here for our 25th anniversary. no unpleasant surprises when arriving here. Everything absolutely accurate based on the photos and all descriptions. A beautifully designed cabin, spacious, outdoor hot tub and fire pit, wrap around porch, lots of land to explore in the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains by the Susquehanna river. Even saw a large group of elk as we were pulling up! Secluded, peaceful, and an all-around quality property. All instructions were clear, simple, and fair. Several items are labeled for convenience, everything easy to use and operate. Also, Paul was a perfect host - very responsive, accommodating, helpful, and great customer service every time I contacted him. I couldn't have asked for a better stay for mine and my wife's special occasion. Great experience for a fair price, worth every dollar! Thanks again Paul.

The only thing missing was a hair dryer I should have asked though just use to hotels always having one

Great stay at the cabin in the woods. Close enough to surrounding towns to get food, groceries, and enjoy wineries. House was as described and Jeff and Tara were very proactive and responsive. Yes, the road was rough, but we had no issues with our SUV. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Would stay here again.

This location is perfect for a weekend away from it all. no cell service and so remote! 😍 It is in a valley so it's more cold naturally. Everything in the home was as pictured. unfortunately for us someone used the gas grill wrong (as charcoal ruining it for us). Lydia was so responsive and was offering to bring us a new gas tank. This is a great couple and a wonderful place. Definitely worth your time in the quiet!

We loved our stay! The house was the perfect size for our family of five and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the deck, the hot tub, using the grill. The boys loved all the games and puzzles that were provided. The big TV allowed for a great movie night. Outdoor lights that hang over the outdoor area just made everything so cozy. We loved using the Alexa’s that were provided to turn on lights and play some music. The kitchen was so well stocked it made cooking so easy. Everything was well thought out and we would be happy to come back here. The host was super responsive and accommodating.

We traveled five hours to the cabin in order to see the dark sky. We even brought a telescope. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and we weren't able to see the sky. Bummer. We did however see our first elk herd traipse through the yard, what a beautiful sight. The cabin was beautiful. Super clean, and had a coffee lover's dream coffee cabinet. There were dog blankets provided for the furniture which was a great touch. We always travel with our own. It's close to lots of hiking trails which we really appreciated. Lorie was a super host. I can see why her rating is so high.

The cabin was nothing short of amazing and Dylan was very responsive and a great host. I live in a big city and needed to relax for an evening and wanted to see some Elk. This is the perfect place to say if you are in the area. Has everything you need + an amazing hot tub and a very relaxing/ cozy environment. The location is perfect- right in the middle of Weedville and Benezette- I enjoyed both towns. The best part were the Elk! I saw a ton! There are 4-5 main viewing areas in Benezette and if you get up early and drive around the spots from 7-8:30am or in the evening before dark you have a great chance at seeing them. They were moving all around the morning of my stay. Probably saw 40+ including 5 massive bulls with antlers at two different sites. Never thought I needed to see some elk and be out in this beautiful nature but it sure was therapeutic. Will be back next time I need to reset my mind and get away!

We stayed with my family and friends over the weekend and truly enjoyed every minute of it. We thank Jessica and her husband for a very wonderful experience.

I needed a place to reset, reboot, and revisit my favorite trails. This was tucked in off the road to give privacy and peace I was looking for. The floor to ceiling windows afforded an amazing view of the stars at night while laying on the very comfy couch. There are alot of games available for various ages. The skeeball game was so much fun. I was unable to use the fire pit due to rain but it was cozy and again afforded a great view of the sky at night. I loved the gym equipment upstairs. The TV was easy to navigate and had a lot of apps. The scenery was tranquil and beautiful. The kitchen had everything needed for any type of cooking along with the grill outside. This was well worth it. I loved the little journal she had for all the guests to fill out. It was so clean and no signs of any rodent or insect visitors noted inside. Inae responded promptly and was very welcoming. This was the best vacation I have had in a long time, basically because of this special nugget of a cabin.

Returning renters and the cabin didn’t disappoint. The linens are wonderful and Nicole has really thought of everything. We wanted to watch a dvd (which there are plenty there!) and Nicole made sure there was a working dvd player for us. We forgot our coffee and there were plenty of k-cups and creamer. The drive is beautiful to Benezette and the hiking in the Quehanna Wild Area is just the best. Highly reccomend this cabin and location.

Enjoyed a peaceful stay. Will was so easy to get in touch with and responsive. I almost regret not being there with a larger group, as it’s a great place to have a family weekend! But I enjoyed the quiet surroundings and solitude.

Me and my family had another awesome stay at Cooters Cabin.Stephanie had the camp all ready for us with no issues or problems. We went ATV Riding and did some Trout Fishing along with Camp Fire at night. I highly recommend Cooters Cabin and will booking again for Next Year.Thanks Stephanie .Kevin Nellis

Our stay was wonderful!! The cabin was exactly what we expected and was very clean. It had everything for a cozy relaxing weekend. The views were gorgeous and the hosts were very responsive.

A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway! The cabin was perfect and exactly what we were looking for - cozy, welcoming, clean and beautiful views. The running creek was so calming to listen to in the evening, the kitchen very well stocked and the festive lights on the front porch helped to guide the way when we were driving back in the evening. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us - we would love to visit again!

Rhonda and Dennis were very friendly and accommodating. They plowed the roads for us after a snowfall and even laid down gravel during our stay to ensure we could get our cars out. The cabin was exactly as advertised, and we were very happy with it. The beds were soft and comfortable, making for an easy and restful sleep. My friends and I had a great time staying here!

This is our second stay at the cabin and it was great. We come to the area to visit family and this is the perfect place to stay with our dogs and kids. The dogs love the adjacent field and the kids love all the games and movies. I love that my dogs, kids and husband are happy and I can relax!

We stayed the weekend and had a great time, it was right in between the two sights we went to see. Great location for enjoying our get away. WiFi worked great and plenty big for the two of us. Definitely would come again if we are in the area. Thanks for the great stay!

This was our second stay at Elk Pine Cabin, and we want to come back some time. At the cabin we enjoyed sitting on the porch, while it rained our first evening. During our second evening we enjoyed a campfire. We didn’t make much use of the kitchen, with the exception of the Keurig (thanks for the coffee and hot cocoa K cups and bottled water!). We ate meals out — breakfast at DD’s Bakery & Cafe in St Marys and Rose’s Hilltop Diner (both excellent) and dinner at Benezette Hotel. We stopped for ice cream at Elk Life. We explored the Quehanna Wild Area (a favorite place to visit), and we saw elk up from Elk Life along Winslow Hill Road. We had a wonderfully peaceful 2-night stay.
